The restaurant located 2 mins walk from train station, very nice lovely spot. It was Sunday Lunch so there was only 1 Chef who do everything in the restaurant including a service. We arrived a bit early but he welcome us very nicely. After that he even take time to explain us what are the menu of the day. There was not salade nicoise on the menu but I wanted to try so I asked him if it possible to do and yes he made it :) The salad sooo refreshing with all fresh ingredients. My main dish is Supreme chicken with provencale herbs omg it was so tasty ! Very tender and juicy also big portion. Other main dish was slices of roasted beef. Real nice thick slices ! Very perfect cook as we order it rare. Again ,Tasty and juicy. At the end for dessert we order grilled peach caramel with vanilla ice cream. A perfect combination not too sweet not too heavy. Made this meal 10 out of 10

Traditional bistro dating back to 1908. The food is classic Niçoise. It's a great place to try local local dishes, like "pissaladière" (onion pizza) or "mer** de can" (basil gnocchi). Everything we had was good, although not elaborate enough to be exciting. Service is relaxed, to put it politely.

I absolutely loved this little restaurant on a small road. Extremely close to Nice-Ville Station. This unassuming restaurant is just a great place for a reasonably priced and tasty meal. They have the menu of the day where there was 4 choices to choose for starters, main and dessert. The service was great and they patiently explained the menu in English as my French wasn't up to scratch. Highly recommended and will visit again when I am back in Nice.

We had high expectations based on reviews and rating but unfortunately this restaurant doesn’t deserve 4.5 stars for following reasons: 1- They don’t have printed menu for food and you can only see the menu in french on chalkboard 2- They don’t have drink menu in any language 3- Service is terribly slow 4- We just ordered 2 main dishes(sea bass and beef) and both were tasteless. In addition beef was too raw … 5- There were no salt and paper on the table 6- Bread basket that came with food was not fresh I personally think that this restaurant got 4.5 stars since you can have 3 course fixed menu for 27.5 €.

Everything was delicious, the service was excellent. They took us in after a handful of restaurants denied us because we didn’t have a reservation and we’re so lucky we got to go here instead. 10/10!

Best meal we had in Nice for a very affordable price 👍🏻 The staffs were lovely. The meals were freshly made and yummy. we recommend the lamb shoulder, stuffed vegetables and lemon tart 😋

Mix of local and tourist people when we ate here. It is a fairly small venue in spring, before they can use their outside tables, so book would be our suggestion. Food is on chalkboard in French, but staff have great English, and the menu is also in English on the website. It is freshly cooked, so be prepared to wait a few moments for the table before you to have theirs cooked first. This is NOT slow service, it is simply how freshly cooked food works. You can see chef from the tables, and he will be out frequently to see how the food is going down. We had the 3 course option (black pudding pictured), but of course, you don't have to do that. Vegetables are included, even though not stated on the menu, so no worries about that. Very much enjoyed joyed our evening and would recommend

Simply amazing food. It was great to try some Niçois specialties. The dessert (peach) was the best one I had this summer (I’ve sampled multiple peach desserts throughout the country). :)

Yelp
Booked dinner here ahead of time and I'm glad I did! Food was absolutely delectable! I opted for the Prix Fixe and told the waiter to give me all of his favorites. I was not disappointed! All the food was great, but the Petits Farcis is an absolute must try. Thank me later. Ambience was cool as well. It is a small, local establishment specializing in Niçoise cuisine. It was nice out, so I sat outside on the other side of the sidewalk separating the restaurant from the outdoor dining area. It was right alongside the street as well, so you really got the feeling like you were truly a part of the city while dining. Highly recommend! Enthusiastically, Clayton Cohn

Yelp
Went to eat here because it was close to our hotel. The food was very expensive but it was good. Traditional French food and it was full course so we got an appe, main course and dessert. Portion sizes were small but overall we were not stuff, all together was the right amount of food.

Yelp
This is family run restaurant and they have their kids as a THE CUTEST waiter & waitress! We had beef ravioli (€13) and shared their fixed price menu (€22): homemade stuffed veggie, rabbit provencal style and carmelized lemon tart! Portions are generous and good. The only downside is that the rabbit dish taste very monotone and I get tired of the taste. Definitely check this place out... maybe try something else other than the rabbit

Yelp
Happy we found this place. Enjoyed the rabbit and gnocchi. Also service excellent. I don't think you will be disappointed with the Nicoise menu.

Yelp
THIS PLACE ROCKED! The service was a little slow for us because we got there and it was just packed! A good sign at first. We really wanted to get some traditional Nicoise food and we were recommended this place. Their meats were just so well prepared (I recommend the lamb (gigot) or the filet mignon of pork) especially their seafood! The staff was really lighthearted and quick at working for being so swamped. The place that really sold us on going here too was the price! For great quality food and presentation we payed only 20 euros for a full 4 course dinner with wine that left us stuffed! In the peak of tourist season the French people can be a little impatient with out-of-towners and we didn't get this sense from the staff at all. Well worth the stray from the main strip on Avenue Jean Medecin.

Yelp
Pros: Service. Speaking English well. Cons: Disappointed. Salad was not fresh. Beef was chewy. Nothing special.

Yelp
This place is so, so good. It's exactly what you'd want from food and wine and atmosphere in Nice, especially if you get to eat outside on the terrace. They were very busy when we went there, but everything came out much faster than we expected and the server was still very attentive. Definitely recommend getting one of the prix fixe options.

Yelp
The food is very well prepared, the owner, Max is an extremely affable host and the wait staff attentive. What more can you ask for. The prices are very reasonable and the quantity of food is more than enough. The restaurant is a little off the beaten path, but it will be worth the effort. Our hotel recommended the that we go there. It was noisy and fun.

Yelp
Wonderful restaurant! It offers a great array of traditional Niçoise cuisine. I came here for dinner twice in October. It must be the off season because it wasn't too busy at the time, and we were able to be seated right away. The whole staff is very polite and attentive. They also speak English so don't be afraid to come in if your French isn't the best. I recommend the Menu Voyageur which consists of 3 courses for only 17€, a great deal for such a filling and delicious dinner. I would recommend the soup de potiron (pumpkin soup), the rosbeef aux herbes, the ratatouille, the polenta, the tiramisu, and the creme renversée (a flan like dessert). It's definitely a must-do for when I return to Nice.
