@joekudla After being a dedicated Lululemon customer for over a decade, I was excited to try Vuori Sports apparel on a recent trip to America, having heard promises of superior quality and comfort. The fabric and comfort initially lived up to expectations. However, upon returning to Australia and wearing the shorts only a few times, I discovered a hole in the fabric that was only visible when stretched. I was confident that a premium brand like Vuori would offer a straightforward replacement process. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to find that their customer service team not only questioned the cause of the defect but also insisted that I cover international postage for a refund. In contrast, my experiences with LuLu Lemon have always been positive, with their customer service providing prompt and courteous replacements for any issues. This recent experience with Vuori has led me to reconsider my choice of brand, as I had hoped for a higher standard of customer care and product durability. As they were never going to “stand the test of time” as promised. To Harrison, the customer service supervisor, I would suggest that Vuori re-evaluate their approach to customer service. This experience has regrettably resulted in the loss of a potential long-term customer.

All of the employees are top notch! It was my first time at this store and they were super friendly and welcoming. They helped me pick out a couple workout tops. Love the fabric and quality. I definitely recommend this location!

Very helpful staff! Beautiful and modern designs. I didn't end up buying simply because I'm just not sure if they'll be around to stand behind their clothes, particularly the thin liner in men's running shorts. But I'm certain you'd find something you like there. Clothes very comparable to Lulu in quality, though also in price.

The service here was above and beyond! Even though it was extremely busy in the store and Christmas was around the corner, everybody was happy to help and very informative. Haley was amazing. She went above and beyond to get me everything I needed and gave me good gift advice. Thank you, Haley!

Mason was unbelievably helpful and a superstar. Please clone him to work at other locations :) I stopped by to return some gifts that didn't fit and he was knowledgeable, quick, and resourceful. It's not easy talking to a male associate about women's clothing questions but he must have handled other similar situations as he knew right away what I was speaking about. I have never had one of their associates give me solutions/options when I didn't there would be any. It's a smaller location but Mason took the time to find items that happened to be in the back. It's street parking so it can be tricky during peak hours (such as lunch time today). I'd return just for the service as they went above and beyond today.

Definitely my favorite clothing brand. Super high quality and feels amazing no matter which piece you're wearing. Staff is always super friendly and helpful.

Nice upscale sport and fitness clothing store in Encinitas. The corporate brand of Vuori draws inspiration from the coastal California lifestyle--an integration of fitness, surf, sport and art. They are known to make products that stand the test of time based on the quality and fabric choices. We saw many types of clothing from sports and fitness long sleeve shirts to heavy jackets for winter sports. The prices are high, but many people that we know like their quality and their look.

Once you Vuori, you'll never go back. Sorry, not sorry, Lulu, but there's a new girl in town. And what I love about Vuori is that it's truly for everyone. Vuori takes athleisure to the next level. First of all, you will not find softer, more comfortable clothing than at Vuori. Don't at me. Just see for yourself. Every single person we've gifted something from Vuori to has been in awe of just how fabulous their fits are. They have great options for both men and women. I have swapped out all my athleisure to theirs and they even have some more fancy pieces. Case in point, I recently boat a coat from Vuori for my trip to Paris. It was the perfect winter coat and so comfortable! My husband also has shorts in every color from here and we got his dad a fun Aloha print polo for his birthday. Encinitas screams Vuori with it's laid back feel and this store is worth stopping into!

It took a while for me to submit this review. The experience sucked and I wasn't really looking forward to reliving it but if it can help another customer, why not. Only reason for the 2 stars (it would have been 1) is the management response to this whole debacle. We've been curious about the brand and have heard good things about the products. So much so, we were given gift cards as presents. My family and I visited several months ago to check them out. The customer service was very disappointing. The store wasn't busy and there seemed to a lot of employees there to help. We weren't greeted and we had to ask for help just to checkout. This wouldn't have been a problem if the service was the same for everyone. I notice that other customers were greeted upon entry, helped with their selection and their kids were even given stickers. I wasn't expecting to experience this type of blatant racism in my home town. My kids even noticed the difference in treatment. If a 7-year-old notices being treated differently, then it's a huge problem. We made our purchases (over $350) and left the store feeling less than. It's a shame because we like the products. I contacted the store manager so I hope things have improved since our visit. We had to exchange an item and made it a point to go to their Carlsbad location because we won't return to this one.

Trying to be a new customer: They say "Provide your email for a 20% discount" well that seems to be a joke. All it gets me is an inbox full of adverts, never a code to place in my first order. Not sure how to ever rate a business that cannot perform such a simple thing, unless that is their plan in the first place.

I love my new workout pants that my daughter bought me today at this cute store in Encinitas. The sales girl is so sweet and helpful and the clothes are so comfortable and well made. I have been wearing my black workout pants all day and they fit so well!!

5/4/2024 - Spent the last several hours walking around Encinitas searching for a comfy outfit to lounge around in over the weekend and FINALLY found the right fit. The staff at Vuori Encinitas pulled me out of my funk & got me thinking about trying on different style outfits & offered to assist finding the correct sizes. Special shoutout to Mason for going above and beyond for making my first shopping experience at Vuori a memorable one. My world flipped upside down and sometimes, you just need someone to be kind/empathetic and that person was Mason. Not only will I be returning to Viori because the clothing helps me feel comfortable in my own skin, but the staff at this location truly care about their customers and the quality of their shopping experience. Also, thank you Zach (I think that's his name) for the tote bag. I wear it all the time!!! :) -Casey

Love Vuori and the wonderful selection at the original flagship conveniently located in downtown Encinitas! I'm living in my Sherpa jacket this winter. Love that it's so lightweight, yet super warm. My boyfriend got a few pairs of ripstop pants that he's been wearing on rotation every day. Vuori items are versatile and easy to dress up for fancier occasions (layered one of its crop sweaters under a trench coat with black jeans to a Christmas party yesterday)! And as you might expect, the gear is incredibly comfortable and perfect for the gym, lounging, working from home, chilling at the beach... you name it. Definitely lives up to the motto: built to move in, yet styled for life :) Not directly related to the store... but for anyone interested in learning about Vuori's amazing history, I highly recommend the podcasts on Spotify with founder Joe Kudla. His story is incredibly inspirational, especially to a small business owner like myself. After learning how Vuori came about (started locally and now making big waves--in and out of Encinitas!), its community-centric company culture, and all that it stands for... I'm a loyal fan. My whole wardrobe is quickly becoming all Vuori!

I have been familiar with Vuori for quite some time and the closest store to me is the one in Newport Beach/Fashion Island. The problem is that store is the smallest and carries limited variety, so I decided to pop in here to check out the selection. This is the brand's original storefront and location, which I thought was kind of cool. It's in a great area off Coast Hwy with many eateries and shops around (not to mention the beach!). The customer service here was impeccable! We met the kindest employees - literally everyone there. I only caught a few of their names (Sara and Taylor) but there were many more who were helpful and came up to us (it was on NYE). I don't normally review alot of retail stores but when customer service stands out I want the employees to receive recognition.

Just love the selection and feel of every piece I have. Started local, now huge. Got there for a very good reason. Quality! My sweat pants I literally live in.... So new color please. Shorts, shirts in every color and fit. Please visit , great service and vibe!

Place had good vibes, not as good of vibes as Mr. Moto Pizza had next door though. Some of the prices were a little high for my liking. Mr. Moto always had great prices, I mean $4 a slice??? PLUS they delivered??? Vuori employees were very friendly and helpful to me. They supported me as I was extremely distressed about the permanent closing of Mr. Moto Pizza next door. Would return (if Mr. Moto returned). #ReOpenMrMoto everyone tweet that and get it trending.

The sales associates were unhelpful and not welcoming to me or my mother. However, all the white women that came in after us were welcomed kindly and enthusiastically. I do not usually attribute a lack of customer service to ethnicity or race, but in this case it was glaringly obvious. I was waiting around for help to ask about the availability of a size, and could not get anyone to help us, so we just left the store. Overall, a very disappointing experience for a flagship store. I love the clothes, but I don't know if I can support a company that picks and chooses who is worthy of their time and help when shopping in store.

After my review, the manager reached out to me. I really appreciated the time she took to get to know my side of the story and make me feel heard. It speaks very highly of the company overall and how they care for their customers. I was able to go back to the store and have a completely different experience. I love the Vuori brand and so happy to support a brand who values their customers. I think I have converted to this brand over the other competitors brand. Their leggings are so soft and I just want to live in them. Maybe one day they can bring in hemming with purchase. Other than that, thank you for everything!

We are from Northern California and flew down just to go to this store. I know you can order online but it's not the same as trying things on and knowing how they look on you. This was actually our second time to the store but both experiences were the same. We were greeted with a friendly smile and hello immediately upon entering the store. It wasn't super busy so maybe the staff had more time. My wife and I shopped separately and after comparing notes, We both received exceptional friendly knowledgeable help. No pressure for sales. Just friendly introduction to their clothing. We both tried on and selected several items to take with us. We loved that the staff was so low key about sales. Never felt the pressure. But that's what made it so fun to shop there. It was "fun" trying on different items and picking out what we liked. Yes, their product is a little pricey but what isn't nowadays. I've had Lulu shorts for 10 years so if these products last that long, it's actually a great value. My shopping math, divide the price of the item by 5 (the number of years minimum I think I'll get out of them), that's how much it cost you per year to own that garment.

I am terribly disappointed that the gift card I purchased for my son as a Christmas surprise was ruined because they sent an email to him this very day of my purchase telling him there was a gift card. I had given them my son's phone number when they asked if I had shopped with them before. It wasn't under my number, even though I had purchased from the Delmar location. I told the nice cashier it was a gift. Aren't gift cards purchased this time of year typically for gifts? After all, I am clearly a female and not named Frank! why wasn't I even asked if I wanted an email sent to his address? I would have definitively said no. I surely hope a manager will reach out to me for a company rep! This is the only athletic wear my son wears.

I purchased two items because, as a new customer, I got a 20% discount. I applied the discount code, and the discount was shown. When I went to complete the sale, their website stripped out the discount and completed the sale at full price. I immediately contacted them, and they refused to credit the discount or cancel the order.

This store is awesome and has great customer service! I bought two of their ponto pants as gifts and the guy helping me (unfortunately I didn't get his name) was absolutely wonderful. He went through the effort of boxing my gifts, whiting out the price, and tying it up with twine. That is service! The clothes are also phenomenal, high quality, and great to work out or lounge in depending on what line you buy. Amazing brand, company, and service!

I'm not new to the brand but went to the store for the first time. The employees were extremely nice and it was easy to have an idea about how things look like as they wear vuori clothes. I feel in love with that brand as it's such a good quality. I was a little concerned about the price but had one of those short pant for a couple years now, and it's holding very well. I do use it quite a lot. Finally the stretchability is sooooooo good, I can see why woman have had so much love for this feature for a long time. It was new to me as usually man clothes are made with steal or whatever makes them very much like wearing concrete. Not here. Wearing vuori is like cuddling with a kitten during a nap, so gentle. The store is also big enough to have choice but not too big so that you lose sense of why you're here. The man and woman selection is about the same size too.

I usually love my Vuori experience. At this location in Encenitas, an oversized two car garage with (6) employees hovering all over you. Could not get into shopping without constant interruptions and eyes watching my every move. I will stick with the Irvine location or shop online. Thank you for ruining my experience...poor customer experience.

Purchased my first pair of Rib leggings and after one wear for a workout that involved rowing, an 8-inch thread along the seam of the butt came out. Thats not even the worst part. The fabric transitions to a ribbed material at the hips and with rowing this created major friction burns on both hips. Extremely disappointing for the high cost of clothing and the low quality. When I reached out to Vuori they said there was nothing they could do since I purchased the leggings through a third-party retailer (Sun Diego). Shame on Vuori to pass the torch to Sun Diego when this is clearly a product issue and not their responsibility.

The quality is great and the clothing is very comfortable. However, their customer service is so poor and shady I will never order anything from them again. Plenty of competitors out there with same or similar quality. Do not count on items you order to be delivered when promised. You just can't trust them.

I must say when I phoned to speak to a customer service representative about my International order, I was not impressed at all. I had a baby 4 months ago and I ordered some clothes around the same time. I had put through the return request but in my sleep deprived state, I had forgotten to take it to a DHL location. I phoned to ask if I needed to do anything else to return and was told that my return would not be accepted. Why do you offer gift cards for US customers but not for Canadian Customers, when it takes items longer to ship to us and 120 days isn't what we get. I felt completely mistreated and I wish there was something that could be done. Had I received a gift card, I would have shopped here again, but not now. There was no leniency given, when other stores will do that. It's tough having a child and now I am stuck with clothes that I can't wear. I might add that I am only 12 days over the 120 day return policy, so if I lived in the states I would be able to return. Oh and the manager that I spoke to, told me that your company is working on giving gift cards for international customers but they don't have it complete yet. I am not sure why that was mentioned as that was not helpful and even more upsetting. Like if gift cards are in the plans, why can't that be offered to me? I am a first time customer and loved the pair of pants I bought and wanted to buy more, but after being dealt with like that, I won't. Really upsetting!!!!

I cannot recommend Vuori enough! Not only are their joggers the softest fabric you have ever worn, but the staff is helpful and accommodating. Vuori chooses to involve themselves in our small Encinitas community, and contributes in a positive way. Thank you for creating such wonderful clothing! Love supporting you guys.

I received a pair of cute joggers for Christmas from my team as a present. I wanted to exchange them for a different color and they wouldn't allow it because the color that I had was on sale.

It's mind blowing that these place isn't five stars. The clothing is incredible, the store is beautiful, and the employees are always friendly. They also offer a substantial military discount which I very much appreciate. I've been a customer of Vuori for nearly four years now... and it's pretty much all I wear these days!

Honestly they make high quality products but a little too trending for me. I have one pair of their pants which I love but I feel like everyone who wears their clothing are hipster, wannabe wilderness rich yuppies or Kinda like the ones who drive around giant sprinter vans with there longboards attached and there lame French bulldogs riding shotgun just to go to there trendy coffee spot or Whole Foods.

A small shop when I went a few years ago with very limited merchandise. Hope to visit again soon.. The materials they source are very soft and comfortable. A must have!

2020 was a big year for Vuori since they specialize in the "softest joggers on the planet" and with so many of us quarantined at home, comfy clothes became even more popular. Enter Vuori. Not that they're a new company, but the pandemic brought their brand a lot more customers. Are they really the softest joggers on Earth? I can't say for certain, but they are super comfortable! We visited the flagship Encinitas store twice last month and the staff was very personable and helpful. After ordering online a couple of times before this visit, it was nice to see the selection of goods up close and personal and in one place. Mel C. found a couple of items for himself and I checked out some things that I ended up ordering online afterwards since they were still on sale. This is a great quality brand that we don't mind spending more money on since we wear our clothes out (as in, for years...until there are holes).

Love the clothes. Unfortunately, the staff members at the cashier were unhelpful, impatient and rude. There's 20 staff members wandering around the store... maybe one of them could smile and be helpful. Love the shorts but I'll probably just buy them online or at Nordstrom moving forward - I can always trust the level of service there.

There is simply no better clothing brand out there with this quality of clothing. The experience in the shop is as great as their products. Everyone there is so helpful and they have such a great range of items to pick from. I have shorts for exercise, joggers for lounging and nice polos for business. I'll wear Vuori forever.

As you stroll down the 101 in San Diego's best surf town, Encinitas, you spot Vuori. "Looks like another Lululemon", you think to yourself. Not so fast... As you curiously open the door, instead of being ignored by someone wearing yoga pants that look like every pair of yoga pants, you're greeted by a genuinely friendly human being. Instead of cluttered racks with the same designs but slightly different than last year, you see a simple, organized layout of clothing options designed for working out, getting in the water, lounging around, or all the above. Think of it as Lululemons friendly surfer cousin. The prices are pretty fair, and you feel like you're paying for more than just the logo on the clothing. Vuori is a fresh new vibe. When your friend comments on your new shorts and asks "dude are those Lulus?", you can proudly respond "nah dude, Vuori" And they give you free stickers

They have great customer service and everyone is very knowledgable about the product. Love the happiness guarantee if it's not what you expected or it rips they will help you out with a replacement.

The only thing I where! It's always my go to for gifting my friends and family too! They are made with great quality materials and they are a perfect fit. Also, love their styling concepts!!

My husband and I stopped in this "flagship" location during a recent trip to La Jolla. After reading an article about the brand and its founder, we decided to stop in. The shop is cute, clothes are terrific and on trend but oh my goodness,was the sales help atrocious. All three (very young) associates kept behind the cash wrap counter, just chit chatting. Didn't engage or provide assistance to all those customers milling about the store. We were not approached at any time our entire time spent in the shop. One would think, especially being a young and new brand that they would provide over the top service, establishing a loyal, enthusiastic customer base. I would never go bAck again, in spite of my preference of supporting brick and mortar stores. No reason to, shopping online offers the samE level of service.

Meh! Really like their joggers but their customer service needs some serious work. I've made several purchases here and the first time, the store was busy on a Saturday afternoon so the workers constantly dodging you and looking "busy" seemed believable. But my most recent visit happened to be on a week day and I went in to get another pair and it wasn't busy at all. Despite this, the treatment was still cold and no one in the store was helpful. I almost returned the pants right after they checked me out. Cashier was not personable let alone friendly. He carried on a personal conversation with a co-worker the entire time I was checking out and hardly acknowledged me or showed any appreciation for being a paying customer. I'm not looking for anyone to kiss my ars, I would just like the transaction to be pleasant. A simple hello would've been nice. I'm pretty sure all he said to me was my total. (Not so) Funny, this proud Pacific Islander was barely acknowledged while in the store, but yet my blue eyed husband walks in and immediately gets a warm greeting. My sister and I did not get any warm and fuzzies from any of the employees working and I was handing over my credit card. Hmmm, perhaps I just don't fit their target demographic... I was terribly embarrassed because I was with my sister who was visiting from out of town. I had been talking these joggers up constantly since I purchased my first pair last year. After this experience, I won't EVER be an ambassador for this brand. I won't ever spend another dime here either. To make matters worse, each time I've purchased a pair of joggers, I've had to spend another $25 to alter each since I'm only 5' and to fit right, needed about an inch off the inseam to fall right on me. So, not only was I willing to spend good money on their joggers, I'd have to alter them to fit me right. A price I WAS willing to spend...but not anymore. If you're not a customer of this brand, don't bother. Judging from the other negative comments here on Yelp, terrible customer service at this company is typical. How unfortunate because they have a good product. IMO, if a company doesn't value you as a customer, they really don't deserve your or my business. RUN from this joint...just not in their joggers! lol

A fresh concept hits Encinitas. Vuori is a men's surf and yoga clothing company within an art gallery, that offers yoga classes. This large, open building has an eclectic modern vibe with a west coast attitude. I met the founders here during the Classic Cars Cruise nights when they hosted a local band, Tower 7, in their parking lot. They only have the space for a few months and intend to maximize every minute build brand visibility in the surf city of Encinitas. The unconventional business has a different approach, a fresh attitude, a neat facility and awesome staff that connects locals to their brand. Most of the boutiques along the coast offer gear for the ladies, and they are sharing some loving with the men here. I like the styles of both art and clothing and look forward to bringing my men in to support this fine business.

Love this place. There clothes are so soft and comfortable. And don't cost as much as Lulu. Everyone there is helpful and ready to go find the right size for you. If it isn't I stock, they will order it and have it shipped to you.

Disclaimer: I've only really bought their clothes online and haven't been to their physical store. That being said... These are by far the most comfortable shorts and pants that I own. They're comfortable enough to be worn at home when you're just lounging but stylish enough where you don't feel embarrassed wearing them out in public. They're also fantastic as running wear. I'm not sure what their in store customer service is like but their online service was phenomenal. I had a pair of pants that had a defect (seam was not sewn properly) and emailed them to point it out. They asked for pictures for verification and sent me a brand new pair of pants! The representatives were incredibly responsive and courteous. I submitted the claim on a Monday and my replacement pair arrived later that week! Do you pay a premium for vuori? Absolutely. But the quality of materials, design, and service more than makes up for it. Highly recommended.

The clothes they sell here are incredible I've never worn anything that holds up so well after washing it and also feel so soft. The sweats are an obvious go to for me - but they also have some awesome outerwear and workout clothes! Definitely good for yoga shorts for guys. Everything they sell stretches LOL - perfect for evenings to chill or Thanksgiving LOL The owner or manager here is so cool, they mis-marked a piece of clothing I bought, but they honored it for me anyway. I'll be back for my spring update to the sweats. Cheers!

I have to say and that the customer service at Vuori is significantly better now than it has ever been in the past. The sales person, Sarah, was very friendly and professional. She approached me and asked me if she could help me finding anything, went into the back store room to find specific sizes for me, and even walked me over to the dressing room. I also noticed her and another sales person approaching other people of color in the store and being friendly and professional with them as well. Thank you Vuori. I know that old habits die hard but you guys did a great job with stepping up to the plate when it comes to correcting a past short sightedness. Your effort was noticed and appreciated.

Debunking the stupid comment of vuori employees being racist. I'm brown as can be and they acknowledged me and made me feel welcomed. Stop being sensitive because of politics nowadays. Great store and great clothing. Amazing service as well. Don't listen otherwise.
