Vytautas the Great War Museum

A very informative museum about the Great War, but also earlier historical events and periods. Cheap entry with student discount. Unfortunately some parts were only available in Lithuanian language

A pretty good collection of historical relics. The tickets and also the souvenirs are cheap and worth their prices. However, the name of the museum is misleading. It technically displays tools, weapons, vehicles and uniforms from several period of history, and the Great War section is only just one part of it. Other than this, I really recommend to visit this museum, if you are in Kaunas

Wonderful museum covering all of Lithuanian military history from the earliest human occupation 9f the area right up to the present day. Most exhibits are labeled in English as well as Lithuanian.

A fantastic museum full of exhibits and information. It is well laid out over three floors and nearly all exhibits have English translations available.

Very good exposition! Highly recommend to all weapons lovers.

Entrance fee is only EUR 5.0 (or EUR 2.5 if you are a student). Definitely worth to visit if you are in Kaunas.
