W Bali - Seminyak

Last month I stayed for an extended period at W Bali – Seminyak, and hands down it was one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. I travel frequently and stay in W Hotels around the world — Brisbane, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Japan — and while I’m already a big fan of the W brand, this Seminyak location genuinely raised the bar. From the moment I arrived I experienced exceptional service. A special shout-out to Resti — she handled my check-in with great care, arranged a fantastic upgrade thanks to my status, and really listened to my needs and wishes to make the stay truly excellent. And it wasn’t just Resti — from the housekeeping team to the management, everyone made it their mission to make my stay unforgettable. The welcome drink, the little thoughtful surprise in the room — every detail was meticulously planned. The bed, the facilities, the whole ambience — you feel that “wow” factor every step of the way. The location is superb, the people are fantastic, the restaurants and food & drink offerings are outstanding. Honestly, there are too many highlights to list, and I’d risk underselling it if I tried. You simply need to go and experience it for yourself. I would absolutely recommend W Bali – Seminyak to anyone looking for a top-tier stay in Bali. An incredible luxury experience with stunning views and top-notch service — just be ready for higher-than-average restaurant prices. We had a fantastic stay at W Bali! The hotel is beautiful, and the rooms are spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean. We were lucky to have a room with an amazing ocean view — waking up to that was unforgettable. Later, we upgraded to a villa with a private pool, and it was absolutely outstanding. Super private, luxurious, and perfect for relaxing. The variety of food and restaurants on-site is great. Breakfast with an ocean view was especially a highlight — truly next level. The staff throughout the resort are very friendly and made us feel really welcome. Special shout-out to the Spa team — incredibly caring and professional, they really made us feel like we were in a different world. The only downside is the price point at the restaurants — it’s noticeably above average, especially compared to typical Bali pricing. Worth it for a treat, but something to keep in mind if you're budgeting. Overall, an amazing experience and highly recommended for anyone looking for luxury and great service in Bali!

We came to Bali to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and stayed at W Seminyak using Marriott points. I am a Marriott Ambassador so I have stayed in a lot of W hotels over the years and this one definitely made an impression.||We were upgraded to a villa and it was absolutely incredible. Spacious, private and perfect for relaxing. Having our own pool felt like pure luxury. The staff were brilliant throughout our stay. Friendly, genuine and always checking in on us without being over the top.||Prices in the hotel were actually very reasonable which surprised me. A beer was around 5 euros and a burger about 10. Outside the resort you can get food and drinks even cheaper. Grab taxis are everywhere and cost about 2 euros for a 10 minute ride.||We also used a Marriott voucher on their experiences website to book a full day Bali tour which included the waterfall, Monkey Forest, temples and a coffee stop. A great way to see a bit of the island without planning it yourself.||Overall we had a fantastic stay. If you can get a villa I would 100 percent recommend it. Great mix of fun, relaxation and warm hospitality.

From the warm welcome at check-in to the impeccable room service, every aspect of my experience was handled with professionalism and care. A special thank you to the manager, whose leadership is evident in the seamless operation of the hotel. Your team is a testament to the high standards you uphold, ensuring every guest feels valued and goes home with cherished memories. The ambiance, facilities, and attention to detail truly encapsulate the luxury and beauty of Bali. My girlfriend and I returned to Bali and had to stay at the W hotel again before we traveled around Bali. It’s a perfect getaway with great facilities and staff! The food is delicious and thoroughly recommended! The staff are always attentive to all our needs and in particular ask for Denta (W insider), Chelsea, Tini, Niel at front desk and the Yoga and Putu at the pool. They are a few of a huge army of staff that really elevate the hotel above others in Bali. They are very knowledgable and will make your stay one to remember.

We had the most amazing experience at the W Bali brunch! The food selection was incredible - everything from fresh seafood and perfectly cooked meats to beautifully presented desserts. The atmosphere was vibrant and fun, making it the perfect place to spend a relaxing afternoon. What made the experience even more special was the outstanding service from Tita. She was so warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Her friendly energy and attention to detail truly elevated our experience — she made us feel so welcomed and taken care of. I've stayed here a bunch of times over the years and its a great place, really nice rooms, nice staff, amazing food, great pool area etc...||The negatives. W love playing music which I also love but not at 6am. I stayed here 6 months ago and complained about the same thing, stayed here 3 nights this week and still complaining about the same thing. The main lobby is open aired, there are no walls and they start playing loud lobby music at 6am. From your room when you're trying to sleep you will hear it, it's like hearing a distant house party. You can't guess the music but it's that annoying bass and highs that comes through. I expressed to them in March but nothing has changed. I went down to the lobby at 6.26am to take a video of the music, the volume level was a beach club kinda vibe. There wasn't one single guest to be seen, music only waking guests up in their rooms. Spoke to Dwi, one of the managers yesterday about it who was amazing, she said the lobby music wouldn't start until 8.30am (I get the feeling once I check out it will go back to 6am). However this morning the pool music started at 6.55am. Didn't help that first night I was woken up with 11pm room service at my door which I didn't order. Expect check in to be a grind and room not to be ready at 3pm when check in time is suppose to be. The 1 star is an attempt for W management to actually listen and realise that people don't go on holiday to a beautiful relaxing resort to get woken up at 6am with lobby music.

Truly exceptional stay at an exceptional property. The Marvellous suite was spotless with fantastic views, the pool area was nicely laid out with friendly staff ever-ready to find you a seat. The beach had been kept clean of debris. While I'm sure there are glitzier properties available, what made the W stand out was the truly exceptional service. Whatever the request, whenever, you'd always get an immediate solution accompanied by a smile. Location-wise the place is within walking distance of central Seminyak and there are many restaurants and bars a short beach-walk away. Breakfast was amazing, again with fantastic service. I guess the only downside is the pricing of food and spa services compared to outside alternatives but here the W is no exception to any other hotel. A memorable experience what felt way too short. Highly recommended.
