I can confidently say that W Guangzhou is the best service I’ve ever received anywhere in the world after staying at various 6 star hotels worldwide.||Every department here went above and beyond. Even months after my trip, my family and I still talk about how special this hotel made us feel.||Lounge — Piper (热心王)||I have to start with Piper, because she’s the reason this hotel stands out so much. She is the most amazing hotel staff I’ve ever encountered. I had some items delivered from Taobao that I never expected to receive in time before checkout. Piper personally tracked them down, arranged a driver, and rushed to deliver everything to me right before we left. ||Her kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care were unforgettable. She made our stay truly special, and I hope the hotel values and recognizes her. I can’t wait to see her again on our next visit.||Buffet|Amazing team especially assistant front desk manager: terry and one other gentleman (glasses. Slim and tall) Zach?. Great food. Love the cantonese breakfast. Great team. H|The gentleman teaching the bakery class was great as well.|||Front desk.|Amazing team especially manager and will (from hoiping) and other gentlemen on the buffer side with glasses.||Cannot wait to visit again.

W Hotel Guangzhou was yet another excellent Marriott Elite Member experience October 22-24/2 nights!||We, 3 of us, had 3 rooms booked “Club Fabulous Rooms”’ with access to Lounge. I booked all rooms under Gold Elite status. At check-in an upgrade was offered to me to a beautiful 100sqm designer suite which was absolutely stunning with high-tech features! The bathrobe was so cozy and the TV in the bathtub was great and so are the fully automated WC’s!’ The bathroom was fully marbled and the amenities were super luxury. The living room tv was huge with about 80inch and the minibar had absolutely everything from real Champagne, branded liquor to local beer and real coffee machine. A special “thank you” to Mr. Chria at the front office who took good care of me and my guests needs!||Breakfast was not offered in the lounge but served in the all day dining restaurant “The Kitchen Table” and it had a great and complete high quality selection. However I feel “Club room guests “ should be offered specially reserved tables along the window zone once they arriving. There was no smoked Salmon on the buffet but when I asked for it it was served quickly at my table… perfect service! I like specially to thank Ms. Sky :-))) who was wonderful helping us to get a nice table (on both days) and he even served the coffee which was very helpful as there were always coffee queues. All staff at breakfast were fantastic!||Drinks at WooBar wete really nice and we enjoyed cocktaiks over both evenings together with nice life entertainment by a Philippine Duo! A special thanks to Mr.Wyatt who always was happy to serve with great Marrioot Spirit and so was Mr. Colin whom both took excellent care of us! Mr.Wyatt even created a special new cocktail “Alien” for one of my guests :-)))||The W Club Lounge for the “Fabulous Room” Guests was a fantastic experience in all aspects thanks to the entire team! The evening drinks and food were of goid quality and selection but I feel as a W Hotel Lounge the selection should be more and more premium; specially the wine selection! The food was likewise ok but could be more premium such as smoked salmon!! I like to specifically say thank you to the lovely Ms. Luna who served me and my guests with the highest of Marriott Spirit!||Should my travels bring me again to Guangzhou area I will certainly stay again at W Hotel and I highly recommend to other travelers!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel in Guangzhou, the staff are very friendly and the location is convenient to all the amazing good food. The room is definitely considered roomy compared to other W hotels I have stayed. We left our charger and charging line at the hotel after we checked out, the staff contacted us and offered to mail them to us.

This hotel was amazing! Very modern, clean, and smells great everywhere! The carpet in my room was spotless which is usually not true for hotels! I love the way that everyone greets you with a smile. The live singers on Friday night were amazing in the lobby! A special thanks to Clinton for being an amazingly patient and helpful human at 5am in the morning. He granted a for me late check out for me and helped charge my phone! Will definitely stay again

By the time I checked in, all of them were neatly delivered right to my room — such thoughtful and seamless service!Throughout my stay, the entire team made me feel truly welcomed and taken care of. I had such a lovely stay here! The location is absolutely perfect — very convenient and easy to get around. From the moment I checked in, I was genuinely impressed by how friendly and welcoming the staff were. Everyone had such a great attitude and made me feel right at home.The room was spotlessly clean and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially appreciated the thoughtful little details that made a difference, from the amenities to the overall vibe of the place.What stood out most to me was the warmth and hospitality — it didn’t feel like a standard hotel experience, but something much more personal. It’s one of those rare places where you feel genuinely cared for.If I ever return to this city, this hotel will definitely be my first choice again. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a wonderful overall experience.

As I live in Shenzhen and wanted a short staycation with my two dogs I chose the W Hotel to spend the weekend given their very good Pet Friendly policy.||As a Marriott Platinum member I was upgraded to A Fabuluous Room which indeed comes with Club Lounge access (This is very unique and a welcome surprise!)||Some comments for those looking at staying and those possibly with pets:||PROS:|Very good pet policy, my two dogs could accompany me in the club lounge and public areas without any issues||The Staff adore the dogs and we were given a LOT of attention!||Location is very central with several shopping malls nearby including K11||Room is in quite good condition, nice double vanities. However, did lack a bit of the "W" feeling inside the room. ||CONS:|Promised was some dog snacks and dog food (for me to order and naturally pay for) however were informed none of these were available||Issues when booking where originally I was quoted RMB1,000 per stay for the cleaning fee, however staff later changed their mind and wanted to charge RMB1,000 per pet, per night which would be RMB2,000! This was later settled after escalation to the duty manager||Breakfast is terrible, it is most definetly not up to W standards and I have stayed at a fair share both in China and abroad. More work needs to be done to improve the quality of food and the range. The restaurant is quite small and incredibly crowded during pea times||Overall the stay was ok, i would prefer to eat outside for breakfast next time and I would try it again. Possibly try booking into a Fantastic suite for a bit more space next time

🏨 Location & Accessibility W Hotel Guangzhou is located in the heart of the city, surrounded by modern high-rises. While this central location is convenient for business and shopping, don’t expect a scenic view unless you’re staying on the higher floors. 🛏️ Room & Facilities The rooms were very nice — spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed with great in-room amenities. However, when we arrived at 3 PM (the standard check-in time), our rooms weren’t ready and we were asked to wait for an hour, which was a bit inconvenient. 😊 Service & Staff The service throughout our stay was excellent. Staff were genuinely friendly, attentive, and professional. Check-out was also fast and smooth, leaving us with a very good final impression. 🍽️ Food & Overall Value Breakfast was a highlight — lots of variety, high quality, and something for every taste. Considering the comfort, service, and food, the hotel offers great value for a luxury stay. Overall: Despite the delayed check-in, our experience at W Hotel Guangzhou was very enjoyable. Beautiful rooms, warm staff, and top-tier breakfast make it a hotel we would highly recommend.
