W Guangzhou

The hospitality shown by Holan Deng, Welcome Relations Manager at W Guangzhou, was truly off the charts. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, he went above and beyond to make sure every part of our stay was seamless and enjoyable. He is genuinely one of the nicest people you could meet, professional, attentive, and incredibly thoughtful. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and his personal touch made a huge difference to our overall experience. He turned a great hotel stay into a fantastic one. An absolute credit to the W Guangzhou and someone who clearly takes pride in delivering world class service. Highly appreciated and highly recommended.

I can confidently say that W Guangzhou is the best service I’ve ever received anywhere in the world after staying at various 6 star hotels worldwide.||Every department here went above and beyond. Even months after my trip, my family and I still talk about how special this hotel made us feel.||Lounge — Piper (热心王)||I have to start with Piper, because she’s the reason this hotel stands out so much. She is the most amazing hotel staff I’ve ever encountered. I had some items delivered from Taobao that I never expected to receive in time before checkout. Piper personally tracked them down, arranged a driver, and rushed to deliver everything to me right before we left. ||Her kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care were unforgettable. She made our stay truly special, and I hope the hotel values and recognizes her. I can’t wait to see her again on our next visit.||Buffet|Amazing team especially assistant front desk manager: terry and one other gentleman (glasses. Slim and tall) Zach?. Great food. Love the cantonese breakfast. Great team. My wife and I had a wonderful experience in Guangzhou when we spent 3 nights in W Guangzhou Hotel. The room is neat and clean. Friendly staff, especially 陈玥 who made special cocktails and Mocktails for us while we visited the Lounge. She proposed us some places to visit. The lounge manager Carmen also introduced us some nice restaurants to experience. Thanks to also the other lounge staff who prepared welcome fruit in our room, they really made our days!

Overall a good experience. The stacked washer and dryer machines were great. Lots of kitchen appliances and enough dishes for 4 guests. Location was wonderful, within walking distance to the Flower City Square light show and good restaurants. Room for improvement: There was only one hair dryer for the 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit. Beds were fine, but decor could be updated and bathrooms could be cleaner. One bedroom wasn't stocked with face tissue or slippers, but it was available upon request.

We stayed at the 3 bedroom service apartment for 1 week. Big and spacious. The Dry kitchen with appliances was great for family usage. Staff service was prompt and good. However, the Timber flooring was not in very good condition. Not safe for children running around. We have used the bathroom rubber rug to temporary cover up the defective area. Can see from the photo as attach. Overall, it was a good experience.

Very disappointed with the service I received here. Could have stayed at a hotel for $80AUD instead decided to stay here to treat myself in Guangzhou for the canton fair. When I arrived at midnight there was no one at the front of the hotel to greet me, usher me in or help with my bags. Instead someone from I think the nightclub next door saw me struggling in the front and walked me to the front desk. I also ended up taking my own bags up to my room. What kind of service is this for the price paid? Would not recommend. Ended up going to a second hotel for $100 during the second week and service was exceptional like the rest of China.

Holan Deng made our stay at the W Guangzhou outstanding. He is an incredibly professional and polite person who ensured everything ran smoothly throughout our stay. It made a real difference to our overall experience. It’s rare to meet someone who is so naturally good at hospitality and genuinely cares about the guests. A fantastic representative of the W Guangzhou and a big reason we would happily return. Highly recommended.

W Hotel Guangzhou was yet another excellent Marriott Elite Member experience October 22-24/2 nights!||We, 3 of us, had 3 rooms booked “Club Fabulous Rooms”’ with access to Lounge. I booked all rooms under Gold Elite status. At check-in an upgrade was offered to me to a beautiful 100sqm designer suite which was absolutely stunning with high-tech features! The bathrobe was so cozy and the TV in the bathtub was great and so are the fully automated WC’s!’ The bathroom was fully marbled and the amenities were super luxury. The living room tv was huge with about 80inch and the minibar had absolutely everything from real Champagne, branded liquor to local beer and real coffee machine. A special “thank you” to Mr. Chria at the front office who took good care of me and my guests needs!||Breakfast was not offered in the lounge but served in the all day dining restaurant “The Kitchen Table” and it had a great and complete high quality selection. However I feel “Club room guests “ should be offered specially reserved tables along the window zone once they arriving. There was no smoked Salmon on the buffet but when I asked for it it was served quickly at my table… perfect service! I like specially to thank Ms. Sky :-))) who was wonderful helping us to get a nice table (on both days) and he even served the coffee which was very helpful as there were always coffee queues. All staff at breakfast were fantastic!||Drinks at WooBar wete really nice and we enjoyed cocktaiks over both evenings together with nice life entertainment by a Philippine Duo! A special thanks to Mr.Wyatt who always was happy to serve with great Marrioot Spirit and so was Mr. Colin whom both took excellent care of us! Mr.Wyatt even created a special new cocktail “Alien” for one of my guests :-)))||The W Club Lounge for the “Fabulous Room” Guests was a fantastic experience in all aspects thanks to the entire team! The evening drinks and food were of goid quality and selection but I feel as a W Hotel Lounge the selection should be more and more premium; specially the wine selection! The food was likewise ok but could be more premium such as smoked salmon!! I like to specifically say thank you to the lovely Ms. Luna who served me and my guests with the highest of Marriott Spirit!||Should my travels bring me again to Guangzhou area I will certainly stay again at W Hotel and I highly recommend to other travelers!
