W Koh Samui

I normally don’t leave reviews, but the level of hospitality & attention to detail at the W Koh Samui made me want to share the experience with others. My husband and I stayed at the W for a few days as part of our Thailand honeymoon trip. From the moment we walked in, to the moment we checked out (very early in the morning to catch a 6 am flight!) the staff really made us feel special and as if we were the only people staying at the hotel (despite the beach & breakfast being busy, so we were definitely not the only people!). This is a feeling I never had at any other hotel before. My husband works in the hospitality industry and has luxury hotel experience too, and even he was continuously impressed throughout our stay. A special moment that stands out is when my husband wasn’t feeling well, so we asked the front desk on where the nearest clinic was so he could get checked out. The front desk helped arrange transport to get to the clinic, which is typical. What’s special was that after we came back from his check up, there was a fruit tray in our room with a little note from the “welcome team”, wishing my husband to get well soon! This was so sweet, and really made us appreciate our stay and the staff

My wife and I visited the W Koh Samui for 6 days and loved every second. I have stayed over 600 nights with Marriott, and this was my favorite breakfast of all. They have everything from pastries to fresh juice, waffles, and even a selection of Bloody Mary’s and champagne. The food selection for lunch ans dinner was just as expansive. The menu featured food from many different cultures and has enough variety that you never get tired of it. I found all of the staff members to be extremely responsive and they always had a smile. Michael, the quality manager, surprised us on multiple occassions with unexpected gifts. Michael also was only a text message away from helping us with anything we requested. Michael did a great job at making us feel like more than guests...as did all of the other staff members!

Weve had our honeymoon here, it was AMAZING!!! The room we had was ocean view front, pool was great, huge room with everything we ever needed. The best thing was service! Su Chef Bee is why we had all the food that we wanted with her care Mo was there for us for every step of the way, every order and every idea. These two women made this unforgettable. We have never ever had such a great service. The room was extra clean with turn down service, our every need was met, the rest of the staff were always smiling and so so kind. HUGE RECOMMENDATION and we will be definitely returning here gladly. This is worth every cent and more!

From the moment we arrived at W Koh Samui for our honeymoon, we were blown away by the level of service, attention to detail, and breathtaking surroundings. The resort perfectly balances luxury with a laid-back island vibe, making it the ideal getaway for relaxation and adventure. A special shoutout to Michael (concierge), who went above and beyond to make our honeymoon seamless. His professionalism, warmth, and knowledge of the area made everything effortless and enjoyable. He even went out of his way to get us post cards (we collect them every trip) and surprised us with numerous special treats for our honeymoon. Another huge thank you to Ton (photographer) for capturing the most stunning moments during our stay. His eye for detail and ability to make us feel comfortable in front of the camera resulted in beautiful photos we will cherish forever. The shots he took perfectly captured the magic of W Koh Samui, and we couldn’t be more grateful. The resort itself is pure paradise—our villa was spacious, beautifully designed, and came with a private pool overlooking the ocean. The food and cocktails were top-notch, and the beach was pristine. Every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations, and we cannot wait to return. If you’re looking for an unforgettable luxury experience in Koh Samui, W Koh Samui is the place to be.

Very nice hotel, with large rooms. The hotel put on free of charge activities on days when it is raining. We really enjoyed our rice paper roll cooking class at the kitchen table! They have great happy hours at various locations throughout the day. Very efficient airport transfers. They offer a bus to the central mall once a day. Personally I think it would be great if they also offered a shuttle to the fisherman’s village night market each day too. Just because Grabs and taxis are relatively expensive there. The food at the kitchen table was of a good standard for both breakfast and dinner. I liked the Bloody Mary and mimosa stations at breakfast, nice touch! Everyone that worked at the hotel was very lovely. My main reason for the four stars is that the hotel is showing its age. There is a lot of maintenance that could be done to lift the quality of the hotel. Our deck chairs in our room were both broken and should really have been replaced.

Twice we've been, and the champagne breakfast is a must-try – probably the island's best! Amazing food, top-notch service, awesome atmosphere, and stunning views. Plus, their signature drinks are unforgettable! After breakfast, we hopped on a free golf cart ride to the beach and spent the day lounging in the sun, sea, and sand. Total perfection!

An unforgettable experience! My friends and I had a very pleasant time at W Koh Samui. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality. The resort’s design is modern yet blends perfectly with the natural surroundings. The beach was stunning—clean, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. We especially loved the breakfast, which was a great mix of Western options and Thai flavors, including a local favorite, kaeng mui soup and mu ping was incredible. It was such a thoughtful touch that really enhanced our experience. The staff was attentive, ensuring that every part of our stay was enjoyable. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to unwind and fully enjoy the beauty of Koh Samui. Highly recommend! Special thanks to P'Ka taiy, P' minny and P' mo for make our stay even more memorable!!!

Ok where do I even begin? The W Samui is one of the best resorts in Thailand, the villas, the staff, the restaurants and privacy of the beaches are top notch. Our stay was the miraculous thanks to Jan, Mo, tee, Nancy and Iris. The buggy staff was unbelievable and the kindness they showed us through out our stay was next level. Everyone is happy, the staff are so kind and they go above and beyond for people. If you are in K Samui, this place is a must.
