W Kuala Lumpur

My stay at the W Kuala Lumpur was absolutely outstanding and truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how modern, stylish, and immaculately CLEAN the entire hotel is. Everything felt fresh, new, and thoughtfully designed. The beds were incredibly comfortable—some of the best I’ve ever slept in at a hotel. The rooms are sleek and modern, featuring impressive new technology that makes everything from lighting to temperature control effortless. A special shout-out to the Dyson blow dryers in the room—such a luxurious and practical touch! The staff were AMAZING. Every single person I interacted with was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. They went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect, always greeting me with a smile and anticipating my needs before I even had to ask. Thank you to all the staff that made this possible. The facilities are excellent—beautifully maintained, modern, and relaxing. Whether it was the lobby, pool, gym, or common areas, everything felt top-tier and well cared for. Breakfast was spectacular. The variety and quality were exceptional, and the iced lattes were especially fantastic—perfectly made and a great way to start the day. Overall, the W Kuala Lumpur delivered a luxury experience that surpassed my expectations in every way. Comfortable beds, spotless rooms, outstanding service, incredible breakfast, and thoughtful high-end touches throughout. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur.

We stayed at the hotel only for a night during new year (after spending some time a another hotel.) Since it was my kid's birthday and also our anniversary, the hotel upgraded the room to have Petronas twin tower view. The room was great, but the service was even more perfect. They prepared a surprized small birthday cake at the room and the anniversary message card from the manager (Ms. "S"). Services during the breakfast was also impressive, with the attentive staffs greeting and talking to all the guests. The table next to us even got surprized birthday cake after the breakfast (I guess it was their child's actual birthday). The pool is a bit small, but very comfortable and has nice view of Petronas tower. At night, it's turned into a place for pool party though. Overall, we love staying in this hotel and were impressed by the attentive attitude and smiling faces of the staffs including the manager. Actually it is the best among our accommodations during this trip.

This is my second time staying at W Kuala Lumpur, and it’s still a place I genuinely enjoy coming back to. I really like the clear separation between the public lift and guest lift, which adds a sense of privacy and security. Guests can also access the bar using both lifts, which makes moving around the hotel very convenient. The bar is definitely a highlight — the view is absolutely stunning and perfect for a chill night out or drinks with friends. The only small “problem” is figuring out which angle gives the best KLCC shot… maybe that’s where a professional photographer comes in 😄 A small but memorable detail: I really enjoyed the body cream provided in the room. It smells great and feels luxurious — one of those little touches that make the stay more pleasant. Overall, a stylish hotel with great vibes, amazing views, and thoughtful details. I’ll definitely be back again.

We had an exceptional experience with the staff at W Kuala Lumpur. After arriving on a red-eye flight, we were warmly welcomed from the moment we entered the lobby. Senthil at the front desk checked us in with a genuine smile and made us feel immediately at ease. Nuno, the manager, also took the time to greet us, chat with us, and ensure everything was perfect. After dropping off our bags, we met Sue and Nathirah, along with so many other wonderful team members who were incredibly kind and attentive to our family. It was the little thoughtful gestures that truly stood out—pushing in the chair for my youngest daughter, placing her napkin for her, and always addressing us by name. We also had the pleasure of meeting Ash, who was so friendly and kind, and Chica at the home Bar, who made our drinks and experience even more enjoyable. Every staff member was attentive, welcoming, and genuinely caring. We felt truly appreciated during our Thanksgiving holiday break and are so grateful for the outstanding service. We cannot wait to return and stay again at your beautiful property.

I recently stayed at W Kuala Lumpur and had an exceptional experience. The service was warm, attentive, and consistently impressive. I would especially like to highlight Mr. Ameer Ash, who assisted me throughout my stay with outstanding professionalism and genuine hospitality — he truly made the experience even more memorable. The room was modern, stylish, and extremely comfortable, perfectly reflecting the hotel’s luxury lifestyle vibe. The facilities were top-notch, especially the pool and the overall atmosphere grear. The location is excellent, offering a stunning view of the Petronas Twin Towers and easy access to KL’s main attractions. Morning buffet was superb with lots of vegetarian options.

Knowledgeable and kind but not intrusive. Wonderful hospitality, thank you Derek. |Also looked after by Nuno F&B and shah from guest experiences. Again, we felt like they couldn’t do enough. |Hotel is pristine with a really cool vibe. The best W hotel I’ve ever been to!

Amazing experience at W Kuala Lumpur! Had such a great stay at W Kuala Lumpur! The service here is truly on another level. Special thanks to Aldred Lee from Flock for his wonderful hospitality, he was attentive, friendly, and made our dining experience so enjoyable. Also want to give a big shoutout to Ashley at the lobby, he was super helpful and welcoming from the moment I arrived, and made the whole check-in process smooth and pleasant. The hotel is beautiful, the twin tower view in our room is stunning, and the team really makes you feel at home. Definitely one of the best stays I’ve had in KL, can’t wait to come back! 💜✨

I had a wonderful 16th anniversary celebration this year. Thank you to hotel staff for accommodating to my requests and never fail to smile when seeing us. We even got a welcome gift and decor! Stay was comfortable, services were awesome and amenities are clean. Room size was big with unique design such as toilet, study/pantry table area and walk-in wardrobe. Definitely a visit worth on another trip for those intending to have nearby stay to Suria KLCC which is only 5mins away, eateries easily available till late night.Special thanks to concierge staff, who welcomed us and brought us all the way up to level 8 lobby upon arrival. During my tour of Southeast Asia, we were debating between the St. Regis, JW Marriott or the W. We always stayed at the St. Regis in Bangkok and heard the views of the tower at the W were amazing so that was the winner. We got there around noon but our room wasn't ready since they were fully booked from the night prior. Our room was ready an hour later and we stayed on the 21st floor. We spent 3 nights here and below are my thoughts: PROS - The hotel is impeccably clean!!! The staff does a great job keeping up with it. -The greeting on the carpets by the elevator match the time of day, which means they change it every morning, afternoon and evening to match. I thought this was so cute. -The rooms were spacious and had awesome views. -The pool area, with the view of the twin towers is ahhhmazzingggg!!!! -Plenty of options to choose from during breakfast buffet (wish the food was warmer though). -Concierge readily available to call a taxi for you when needed. -The wet bar (pool area) turns into a nightlife experience around 10pm which is great for those who don't want to leave their hotel. Guests get priority sitting at the cabanas or the tables. -Room service was prompt and the food was delicious. -Centrally located so you walk or take a taxi for cheap. -Felt very safe as concierge and additional staff were always by the entrance. CONS -Some of the staff at the desk could use more training around customer service. They were tepid and didn't seem concerned in helping guests. -They turn the AC off between the hours of 3-6am in the lobby and every floor below (8 floors in total). While I understand this is to conserve energy and I support it, they should provide the desk staff with fans. It was so hot down there when we were checking out and I felt so bad for them. -The gym was smaller than I expected. - The hot water kettle in the room didn't work. -One of the guests, our neighbors in particularly, were so loud and made provocative noises all night. I had to call security on them.

This is one of my favorite hotels to stay and I always have to stay here when I'm in KL. The service here is seriously incredible. My first stay here was when this hotel had just opened and I was a bit worried they were still figuring things out. Well, I was wrong. Upon check in they've always upgraded me to one of their largest suites for being a Platinum member. Also they always made sure I'd have a room with a clear view of the Petronas Towers. Not only that, they hand-delivered delicious complimentary cocktails and desserts to my room for being a loyal Marriott member. What have I received at other Marriotts? Maybe cookies or decent macaroons. Then on one of the nights, my friend and I went to the club/pool area and noticed it was completely packed while all the tables had high minimums. One of the hotel managers who I barely conversed with a few days prior, noticed me, correctly addressed me by name, and then gave us one of the best tables free of charge. Again, incredible service. The breakfast buffet selection is also incredible. Malay, western, freshly made items, and exotic fruits. Though the selection doesn't change too much every day which is only an issue if you're staying at the W for several days. The breakfast was comped for elites, so I didn't mind.

This is an opulent hotel. Very impressive. Service is impeccable i arrived late, yet the staff were very accomodating to get me food. Bar has a good variety of drinks. The room is impeccable.

W is coming in clutch in the big KL! Wow what a dream of a hotel. We all know the W never fails to let us down but they have stepped up their game like no other on this occasion. My sister and I flew it on a red eye from Wuhan, China after a 14 hour flight from San Francisco. We checked into the hotel before 7am, hoping they could at least store our luggage until our room was available. Low and behold - they let us into a room immediately at that time after a long 26 hours of traveling. We were eternally grateful, especially when we saw our rainforest shower!!! The robes and slippers are always an amazing feature. The endless supply of drinking water, mango ice cream by the pool deck, curtious staff, and stunning guest rooms are just a few of the added bonuses. The views rank above anything else as you can see the Petronas towers from many of the hotel rooms and from every chair on the pool deck. We are so incredibly pleased with our stay here and are proud Marriott bonvoy elite members because stays like this remind us just how amazing this brand is!

We enjoyed a brilliant weekend staycation at the newly opened W Kuala Lumpur! Our room was huge with a view of the Petronas Towers, and we were able to relax and enjoy the amazing Wet Deck and Flock restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner! A huge thank you to Simone and the entire W Kuala Lumpur team - it is a truly wonderful hotel, and we can't wait to stay again soon!

My husband and I stayed at W over the weekend and we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay! The staff were very friendly and attended to our every request quickly and with a smile. When we complained that our neighbours were very noisy, they quickly shifted us to a new room. The room itself was spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet at Flock was quite good and we enjoyed the eggs and local cheeses. We also had lunch and dinner at Flock and enjoyed the lamb kofta burger and the Birds of a Feather pizza. One of my favourite parts of the hotel was definitely the pool area and the Wet Deck. The view of the Petronas Twin Towers is great and you can also get a view of the KL Tower. The drinks served, whilst pricey, were good and overall, the music and vibe totally matched the W Hotel experience we expected. Would definitely stay again! :)
