From the superb staff, spectacular room and prime location, this hotel is excellent. We stayed with our kids and had the best stay. All the staff were so great and provided such a personal and high level service. The only other hotels I experienced it like this are the Fairmont and the Ritz Carlton both in Jakarta. Things like remembering your name, walking up to your table to greet you during breakfast and the way they said goodbye when we left, this makes the difference.

I visited Wet Deck KL last night with a friend for a casual drink & came here quite often. Unfortunately, the service I received this time was extremely disappointing, and honestly, the worst I’ve ever experienced there. We were seated for over 20 minutes, yet not a single staff member came to take our order. I kept trying to get their attention, and all I got were empty responses like “wait,” “later,” or “one moment.” But no one ever came back. What made it worse was that the staff weren’t even busy . most of them were hanging around the cashier, laughing and chit-chatting, while guests like me were left waiting and trying to flag someone down. I had to constantly look around, raise my hand, and still got ignored. I work in a 5-star hotel myself, and I understand how service should work. Each station should have staff to avoid overlooking guests, especially on busy nights. But clearly, that wasn’t the case here. It made me wonder is it because I’m just a regular guest? Not a VIP, a member, or a W Hotel guest? If that’s how non-hotel or non-member guests are treated, then that’s a serious issue. Everyone deserves basic courtesy and service, regardless of status. I came here to enjoy the music and relax after a long day at work, but I left feeling even more frustrated. Wet Deck has always been one of my go to spots, but last night’s experience really changed how I feel about coming back. I truly hope management takes this seriously, because no guest should ever feel invisible.

I’ve staying in the wow suite and it’s very nice. Huge, and has a private pool. When I stay here I try to get the work get together switched to here so it’s so easy to get home and not have to drive! It’s one of the best views of KL towers so most coworkers say absolutely. Food at wet deck is just OK, but they aren’t a restaurant so it’s all good. Breakfast is good. Love this place

To the wonderful team at W Hotel KL,|| ||I'm writing to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service I received during my recent stay. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the professionalism and kindness of your staff. Harry in the front office was particularly helpful and welcoming, making check-in a breeze. Ila from housekeeping went above and beyond, not only ensuring my room was spotless but also swiftly resolving a minor issue I had with my initial room assignment – a truly impressive display of service recovery. Zhi Han at Yen restaurant provided attentive and friendly service, enhancing my dining experience. Finally, Faizal at Wet Deck created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.||||As a Bonvoy titanium member I am very pleased with how staff appreciate and treat their Eliete members. || ||Thank you all for contributing to a memorable stay. Your dedication to excellent customer service is truly commendable.

I was in this hotel in May 2025. Unfortunately my review is not pleasant, but still better than my experience in that hotel. Booking.com banned it without giving me the option to modify, smoothen or amend as I offered them. They have too many interests in the commission they get from the hotel, underandable. I recommend you don't trust too much booking.com ratings and reviews because they are definitely biased. The hotel is good but absolutely not worth the price. The location is ok if you want to walk with KL temperature and noise, unfortunately nearby Grab drivers will be cancelling the booking for trips within KLCC because of the traffic jam. The hotel staff is too intrusive. They were insistently ringing my room's bell at night, I opened the door and one of them was about to step into the room to change the magazine. I stopped him, my girlfriend was in bed, I gave him the magazine. The have no idea of how to treat customers, they execute tasks. The hotel is extremely noisy, you hear people shouting and doors smashing. There is a club at the 12 floor, apparently the reason why this place is so popular. If the elevator stops at 12 floor, it happened to me, you may encounter drunk people entering the elevator without even realising that it is going up to the rooms. The fancy decoration of the rooms makes you feel you are into a night club. There is no smart TV, but an old technology TV and no USB plugs anywhere in the room. The hotel charges you 500MYR security deposit for the room. I book d two night and they charged 1000MYR. I cannot imagin if you spend 10 nights... Be ready with cash because they take ages to return the deposit on your card if they ever do. I recomm Nd not to stay here with family or if you are looking for a quiet stay. Highly recommended if you came out of the club at 12 floor with too much alcohol in your body and, maybe accompained by a hooker from the same club. A very positive feedback about the restaurant, Great room service with nice offer.

W , From the start as we checked in at the hotel late at night were received by a CONCEIRGE and he was the one who took care of our luggage , than at the 8 th floor Was the reception with pink background , Mr Farookh was kind and honest , understanding and accommodating , now a hiccup but it was not because of the hotel but Agoda , I travelled with my kids , Agoda mentions while booking these rooms accommodates 2+2 ( two adults , kids ,) I paid in full in advance and with breakfast it mentions , but the catch is ( Breakfast available), Now the reception asks me to pay more for two kids and breakfast , I had no choice but to pay ..I did that , and it’s not lowly priced I must say . Next day morning is breakfast time and to my good surprise to greet us at the breakfast area is F&B Director himself and all his team , the young team of his and everyone in the breakfast area were attentive and attending to every guest with a smile , The breakfasts spread is Excellent , From Indian, Chinese , Arabic , Continental to Italian , everything is available . For the health conscious guest it’s all there , Now Rooms are well Lit 🔥 and comfortable , In the evening we were greeted by chocolates and a note by the Management … with football stars pictures for my children ..a shout out to whoever thought about it . This hotel is closest to the Petronas tower or the twin tower , around a 20 meter walk , Location 5+++ Breakfast out of 10 a 11. Special thanks To NUNO F&B Director Faroukh at the check in and the CONCEIRGE at night . The place is full of young guests who like quirky design and Fun kinds .

It was my first time staying at W KL. I booked two rooms, a spectacular room and a marvelous suite. I came to hotel using the airport limo. The ride was smooth but little things such as bottle water was not available in the car. I guess partly was because the hotel limo was contracted to a third party company so lack of service quality. However, upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the concierge team led by Neezuan. Check in was also smooth. The rooms are nice, spotless and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast was great too with wide selection of food. I highly recommend this hotel in KL.

We recently stayed at this hotel to celebrate my wife's birthday and the location, room, food and ammenities were all 5 star. We have stayed here a number of times and it is our most favourite hotel in the world. Overall though, it is the staff who make the hotel, and a big thanks to Michelle, Ruben, Brenda and the young man on the ground floor reception with the moustache (sorry didn't get your name), you all made us feel so welcome and really made our stay special. The staff are a real credit to the hotel and wider company. We would not hesitate to return and recommend to others. Thanks again

Yelp
During my tour of Southeast Asia, we were debating between the St. Regis, JW Marriott or the W. We always stayed at the St. Regis in Bangkok and heard the views of the tower at the W were amazing so that was the winner. We got there around noon but our room wasn't ready since they were fully booked from the night prior. Our room was ready an hour later and we stayed on the 21st floor. We spent 3 nights here and below are my thoughts: PROS - The hotel is impeccably clean!!! The staff does a great job keeping up with it. -The greeting on the carpets by the elevator match the time of day, which means they change it every morning, afternoon and evening to match. I thought this was so cute. -The rooms were spacious and had awesome views. -The pool area, with the view of the twin towers is ahhhmazzingggg!!!! -Plenty of options to choose from during breakfast buffet (wish the food was warmer though). -Concierge readily available to call a taxi for you when needed. -The wet bar (pool area) turns into a nightlife experience around 10pm which is great for those who don't want to leave their hotel. Guests get priority sitting at the cabanas or the tables. -Room service was prompt and the food was delicious. -Centrally located so you walk or take a taxi for cheap. -Felt very safe as concierge and additional staff were always by the entrance. CONS -Some of the staff at the desk could use more training around customer service. They were tepid and didn't seem concerned in helping guests. -They turn the AC off between the hours of 3-6am in the lobby and every floor below (8 floors in total). While I understand this is to conserve energy and I support it, they should provide the desk staff with fans. It was so hot down there when we were checking out and I felt so bad for them. -The gym was smaller than I expected. - The hot water kettle in the room didn't work. -One of the guests, our neighbors in particularly, were so loud and made provocative noises all night. I had to call security on them.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite hotels to stay and I always have to stay here when I'm in KL. The service here is seriously incredible. My first stay here was when this hotel had just opened and I was a bit worried they were still figuring things out. Well, I was wrong. Upon check in they've always upgraded me to one of their largest suites for being a Platinum member. Also they always made sure I'd have a room with a clear view of the Petronas Towers. Not only that, they hand-delivered delicious complimentary cocktails and desserts to my room for being a loyal Marriott member. What have I received at other Marriotts? Maybe cookies or decent macaroons. Then on one of the nights, my friend and I went to the club/pool area and noticed it was completely packed while all the tables had high minimums. One of the hotel managers who I barely conversed with a few days prior, noticed me, correctly addressed me by name, and then gave us one of the best tables free of charge. Again, incredible service. The breakfast buffet selection is also incredible. Malay, western, freshly made items, and exotic fruits. Though the selection doesn't change too much every day which is only an issue if you're staying at the W for several days. The breakfast was comped for elites, so I didn't mind.

Yelp
W is coming in clutch in the big KL! Wow what a dream of a hotel. We all know the W never fails to let us down but they have stepped up their game like no other on this occasion. My sister and I flew it on a red eye from Wuhan, China after a 14 hour flight from San Francisco. We checked into the hotel before 7am, hoping they could at least store our luggage until our room was available. Low and behold - they let us into a room immediately at that time after a long 26 hours of traveling. We were eternally grateful, especially when we saw our rainforest shower!!! The robes and slippers are always an amazing feature. The endless supply of drinking water, mango ice cream by the pool deck, curtious staff, and stunning guest rooms are just a few of the added bonuses. The views rank above anything else as you can see the Petronas towers from many of the hotel rooms and from every chair on the pool deck. We are so incredibly pleased with our stay here and are proud Marriott bonvoy elite members because stays like this remind us just how amazing this brand is!

Yelp
We enjoyed a brilliant weekend staycation at the newly opened W Kuala Lumpur! Our room was huge with a view of the Petronas Towers, and we were able to relax and enjoy the amazing Wet Deck and Flock restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner! A huge thank you to Simone and the entire W Kuala Lumpur team - it is a truly wonderful hotel, and we can't wait to stay again soon!

Yelp
My husband and I stayed at W over the weekend and we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay! The staff were very friendly and attended to our every request quickly and with a smile. When we complained that our neighbours were very noisy, they quickly shifted us to a new room. The room itself was spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet at Flock was quite good and we enjoyed the eggs and local cheeses. We also had lunch and dinner at Flock and enjoyed the lamb kofta burger and the Birds of a Feather pizza. One of my favourite parts of the hotel was definitely the pool area and the Wet Deck. The view of the Petronas Twin Towers is great and you can also get a view of the KL Tower. The drinks served, whilst pricey, were good and overall, the music and vibe totally matched the W Hotel experience we expected. Would definitely stay again! :)
