"Fesdu has one of the best 'house reefs' of all the resort islands, which means spectacular dive and snorkel spots right off the beach, as opposed to the boat rides often required elsewhere. The groove here is younger than at other resorts, so water sports and other feats of athleticism by the beach are encouraged. Efforts to attract Russians (vodka bar, extensive caviar menu, chess by the pool) are working, because they're coming here in hordes. Service is outstanding, since the staff takes its ‘whatever/whenever’ policy very seriously, so if you have a special wish --plighting your troth with all the trimmings on a nearby desert isle, say -- they'll make it happen. The self-conscious aspiration to hipness here is unfortunate and decidedly not cool, but some may find such affectations quaint. There are decent dining options -- a seafood spot under-the-stars, a barbecue joint by the water, a bistro -- but unlike other resorts, there's also a game attempt at creating a club scene: a colorful underground grotto of neon and lounge booths, pulsing to DJ-spun trance and house. It is of course possible to completely avoid these and all other distractions at the spa, which is bigger and better than most with its spacious teak-floored treatment rooms on the water."

Words can’t describe this property not only is it beautiful with a lot of scenery and beautiful beaches. The staff was overly accommodating very nice very sweet. Remember my name! Every time I went into a restaurant they called me by my name and greeting me with such joy. I had so much fun here for my 30th birthday. I’m so glad that I picked this property out of all the other ones. They truly made my day so special and I can’t thank them enough. They celebrated my birthday from the morning time to the evening time until the night time that was so amazing. Ahuzoom did an amazing job on my birthday decoration. It was so beautiful. Razaan was so sweet It was attentive to all my needs. I can’t remember the waiters name. I think her name was Jen. She was so sweet so nice so kind. I saw her everywhere and she always greeted me with a smile. I had an amazing experience with the photographer. He was very creative.

It wasn’t just a vacation, it became an experience we’ll never forget.||Saha welcomed us with such genuine kindness, showing us around and checking in throughout our stay. From the moment we arrive till we checked in for our flight, she was always connected to us ensuring a smooth experience.||I would like to thank to Celine, Tiqur, and Aidh at Fish restaurant for making our first night unforgettable. |Kat at Wet Deck for her contagious positivity and bright smile.||At Kitchen, Dilya and Siska made every morning a joy by greeting us with big smiles and positive energy. Always addressing us by our names and making sure our mood was always lifted.|Arshan at Fire impressed us with his friendly service and attention to detail. The whole F&B team truly went above and beyond by taking care of us and always smiling, calling us by name, and making us feel at home. ||Claire, the F&B Manager, deserves special mention for her care and personal touch. Creating not only a vacation, but ensuring her guests were always looked after and making the experience genuine and personal.||We also loved diving with Ding, who made the experience safe and amazing while diving.|Working out with Mark from the Health Club, whose energy was inspiring.|Lastly I would like to give a big thank you to Nich, who made sure everything about our stay went perfectly from start to finish.||Even with a few rainy days, the team’s warmth and spirit turned every moment into something special. My husband and I spent two weeks at this beautiful property, and even then we couldn’t get enough of it. The location is stunning – a pristine island surrounded by crystal-clear waters. The house reef is spectacular, easily the best snorkeling spot we’ve experienced so far.||The dining was outstanding, with every meal a delight. Even with my vegan diet, the team went above and beyond to provide everything I wished for – and more.||The villas are superb, the room service impeccable, and every detail is taken care of with such thoughtfulness. From beginning to end, our stay was flawless. Above all, what touched us most was the staff: each person was genuinely kind, attentive, and incredibly helpful. After two weeks, leaving was truly difficult, as we felt completely at home.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay — this is truly an exceptional resort for a relaxing and peaceful vacation. Everything was perfect. The breakfast was rich and varied, and the dinner quality was outstanding. Our villa’s location offered an amazing snorkeling experience right from our doorstep.||We were also deeply touched by the thoughtful anniversary and birthday surprises prepared by the team — they made our stay even more special and memorable. Thank you for all the warm hospitality and attention to detail. ||As a small suggestion, it would be great if the daily activities could be shared in the WhatsApp group one day in advance. This would help guests plan ahead and perhaps connect with others from around the world through the activities.||Additionally, it would be lovely if the hotel could offer a postcard service featuring its signature views — guests could write and send their thoughts and memories to themselves or loved ones, creating a meaningful keepsake of their stay.||We’re extremely satisfied and would love to come back again!

W Maldives was truly incredible. Their service was seamless, from the moment they picked us up at the airport until the time we checked out and assist us with our departure flight . Everything was so well thought out. The resort itself is paradise — beautiful in every corner. Snorkeling quickly became our favorite activity, and it was so easy to spot sea turtles every day. As a Titanium member, I was touched by the way the team greeted me by name and made me feel so special. I want to thank everyone at the resort — literally every staff member we encountered had a smile on their face, radiating warmth and genuine care. Great job, W Maldives! I’ve never had such an amazing experience. You truly made our trip unforgettable.

We cannot praise W Maldives highly enough for the hospitality provided by all the staff. From the representatives (Aysha and Abdullah) who met us at the airport to the resort staff themselves - outstanding service. They took care of everything. For once I was able to switch my brain off and just enjoy the holiday. The checkout and departure process was much the same - literally door-to-gate service. To anyone considering visiting the Maldives, the W is an absolute must. And more importantly, you have to try Sip - dubbed as an overwater bar, but it’s so much more. Chef Cristopher is an immensely talented individual - the Japanese/Peruvian fusion highlights his Peruvian roots. We dined there 2 nights in a row and went back every chance we got! A huge thanks to all the W Maldives staff for making our stay so memorable - a special shout out to Silver, Mani, Attiqur, Aquaman, Ahmed, and Anna — for making sure we saw sea turtles and a baby shark during our snorkelling adventures!

Recently returned from a fantastic stay at W. Thankyou to all staff and management for helping to make our stay so special. From the arrival greeting to our farewell we enjoyed all aspects of this recently renovated resort. Staff were amazing, nothing too much trouble and very friendly. Particular mention to Hashish and Mani in Sip (who made us the Angelfish cocktail) the pool bar staff and all restaurant staff. The entry level water villa had been renovated to a very high standard, with all life’s comforts included. The restaurants, Kitchen, Sea and Fire, produced some of the best food we have experienced in the Maldives. We would not hesitate to return to W for more. A big thankyou to our travel agent, Clare at Angelfish, for making the arrangements and ensuring the trip went smoothly and always knowing what suits us best.
