First time stay here at the W Melbourne, and from the moment we arrived, the staff were incredible.||||Stayed in the ‘fabulous’ room and it was just that.. fabulous. Did I mention the automatic toilet, with heated toilet seat?!||The room was plush, sexy and super comfortable for 3 girls sharing. The room service was quick and helpful. ||||My friend was brought a gorgeous red velvet cake for her special milestone birthday, and it was delicious. Such a wonderful and thoughtful surprise from the hotel. ||||The pool area was lovely and warm, after a cold day out in the city. Curious bar was also fantastic and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Cocktails were great!||||This hotel and its staff were nothing short of amazing, and I don’t know how anything else will measure up!

I recently stayed at the Marvellous Suite at W Melbourne, and I have to say this has been the best Marriott property I’ve experienced so far. From the moment I arrived, the front desk team and staff were exceptional warm, professional, and attentive. The suite itself was stunning, with every detail making the stay feel special. Room service was quick and efficient, and the food was not only delivered promptly but also absolutely delicious. I also had the chance to visit Curious Bar, which was such a unique and memorable experience, very different from anything I’ve come across before. Overall, my stay was outstanding, and I’ll definitely be returning the next time I’m in Melbourne. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable stay.

We have stayed twice now at the W hotel as a family of four. Reception is welcoming, and if a room is available they will try and find one for you if it is before the check time. We were travelling with kids and they were very accommodating. The rooms are wonderful, modern. Bathrooms are modern. Housekeeping are friendly and the room is always made consistently. We love the buffet breakfast with the eggs menu and it is so nice being able to order a latte. Kids also love the buffet, always finding something they want to eat. We love the pool, but don't love the kids curfew. We feel limited that we only have a short period to swim after dinner. I would be wonderful if people viewed how many adults actually swam after 8pm as we went up and there were no one. All in all a wonderful hotel, very close to a tram stop. Easy to get to both Marvel arena and Rod Laver if a concert is on and very short distance to the city.

W Melbourne is a stunning hotel with a modern and stylish design. The location on Flinders Lane is perfect – close to everything in the city, from shopping to restaurants and public transport. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with great attention to detail. The indoor pool is amazing and feels more like a glamorous lounge than a regular hotel pool. The bars and restaurants inside the hotel, especially Curious and Lollo, are also a big highlight. Staff are friendly and professional, always ready to help. Overall service is excellent. The only downsides are that the breakfast could be more unique and local, and in some rooms you may need to keep the curtains closed for privacy. Prices are on the higher side, but that’s expected for this level of luxury. Overall, I highly recommend W Melbourne if you’re looking for a stylish and vibrant stay in the city.

Celebrated my daughter’s 21st birthday and stayed at W Melbourne. I purchased add on decorations for the room to give it a special touch, and the hotel also surprised us with a happy birthday cake, which was such a lovely gesture. These thoughtful details made my daughter’s 21st so memorable. The hotel is clean with modern facilities, and even the elevators greeted us with good morning, afternoon or evening, which added a nice touch. The indoor heated pool was a highlight and was not too busy for a Saturday night, which was great. Buffet breakfast was average, but that may have been because we had a later breakfast. The whole place is very photogenic and perfectly located close to all the Melbourne city action. We will definitely recommend W Melbourne and would love to stay here again. Thank you for making our celebration so special.

I’m a bit unsure how to write this review, but here are my honest thoughts: ⭐️ 3 for the housekeeping service. Why? Because during my stay from July 16th to July 20th, my room was not properly cleaned. It seemed like the linen sheets were not changed, the bathroom trash was not taken out even though the tissue had piled up, and the used towels were not replaced with clean ones. The room was not vacuumed either. I had clients with me who like to leave tips, and even though the tip was taken, the room was still not properly cleaned. After complained to front office, my room is deep-cleaned on the last 1-2 nights before my departure. I've checked out on July 22. ⭐️ 5 for the front office and concierge team. They were very responsive and helpful in handling the issues both my clients and I experienced with the room, baggage storage, and overall service during check-in and check-out. Special thanks to the concierge manager (whose name I unfortunately forgot) and Mr. Kevin from the front office team. Big appreciation for them! ⭐️ 5 for Barbara from the F&B service team at Lollo Restaurant. She was very helpful in arranging additional breakfast on our last day before our group checked out. Barbara was quick to assist and very friendly—unlike some of the younger waitresses. Please give extra appreciation to Barbara, Kevin, and the front office team. Keep up the good work!

As a Marriott Bonvy regular guest, W Melbourne was extremely disappointing. I have stayed in W all over Asia and luxury service was a norm and always consistently till Melbourne. Complete let down. ||1. No 24/7 IRD |2. No 24/7 housekeeping or engineering even. |3. Rooms and hotel in general was rather disappointing, small and cram. |4. Long queue and not enough staff at front desk and Lollo restaurant |5. No turndown service or extra amenities |6. No hosts around to assist with request, concierge also not at the desk. Front desk brought me to concierge desk and was not sure where concierge was. Lack of communication. |7. Staff service severely lacking. Not luxury at all. Only one of your Duty Manager seems to understand the concept of luxury service. She was very hospitable and helpful. She actually took over the role of concierge to assist me with my request and provided recommendations . Was not surprised to find out that she worked for another Marriott in Singapore, truly well trained and anticipated my needs. |8. Room key not working twice during my stay! No attempt to assist me to the room or check the door. |9. Aircon in the room doesn’t seem to work, when I called twice in the middle of the night I was told that I had to wait for temperature to lower and no engineer was available until 8am the next day. No other alternatives. ||Need massive improvement, not sure if hotel deserves the Marriott brand or even the W name. W Hong Kong, W Bali and W Singapore service was impeccable. W Melbourne is no where close.

We had a fantastic experience at W Melbourne. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional, friendly, professional, and attentive. The team went out of their way to make our kids feel welcome, and they absolutely loved the vibrant atmosphere. We also booked the Paw Package for our cavoodle, and it was a brilliant addition, treats, a bed, and bowls were all thoughtfully provided. The hotel is stylish and full of energy, yet still family and pet-friendly. A big thank you to the amazing staff who made our stay so memorable. Highly recommend!

In the heart of Melbourne this hotel is a must stay. It's beautifully done from employees to rooms. There is a breakfast buffet (not included in price), restaurant and bar all on the first floor with delicious food. The rooms are very cozy, plenty of tech and have plenty of amenities to make your stay comfortable.
