W Panama

I had the pleasure of staying at the W for a week. The view from my room was awesome. The hotel decor was very nice. Rooftop pool area is nice. The pool itself isn't huge but ok. Breakfast was buffet style and had just about everything. The location is in the financial district, so it's very busy and traffic can be a nightmare during the day (gave me a NYC feel)The highlight of my visit at the W was the bartender Francisco. He is good at what he does. He was socialable which was what I liked because I was there by myself. He was competing in a holiday drink contest which I was able to taste. He made it an entire experience and explaining why the drink had a connection to his life/family.

Fantastic long weekend stay! The room was beautiful, with a fantastic view and staff went above and beyond to help us celebrate my husband's birthday in a special way. Staff at the pool (el senor de la piscina) were friendly and very helpful and accomodating, as well as the Moro restaurant and the spa. If any inconvenience arose, they were always there to make it right. The food at the Moro restaurant was very good, as well as their buffet breakfasts. Coffee there was first rate! The Paul cafe attached to the hotel was also lovely. The room was spacious and beautiful, and the cleaning staff even knocked in the evening to see if we wanted any curtesy service, ei: bed remade, clean towels or water. You can book and pay additionally for services at the spa, but you have 24 hour access to the gym and pool areas. In the spa you will find a sauna and a steam room, and favorite of all, a 2 jacuzzis which you have access to also. Recommend reserving a time in case it gets busy, but our first night there, we just walked in and they filled it for us. I can't say enough about the staff, I wish I could name them all separately because they all went above and beyond. Very grateful and we will be returning.

This hotel was absolutely fabulous. We stayed the weekend after Thanksgiving 2025, and everything exceeded our expectations. The location was great, and every space from the entrance and lobby to the room, fitness center, and pool area, was flawless. The décor throughout the hotel was beautiful. Our room had excellent lighting, plenty of space, and nice design details. Housekeeping checked on us two to three times a day, and the staff was kind and helpful. The pool area was a highlight, especially with a DJ on the weekends. The rooftop location offered nice views of the city. The hotel also featured several bars and restaurants, a full breakfast buffet with all the expected options and more, friendly and helpful bellmen, a spa, a bakery, and an option to meet with and book a city tour guide. We did notice a couple of minor issues. The TV guide did not match the shows that were actually airing, which was frustrating when trying to watch NCAA and NFL games. They had soccer and/or boxing on all the sports channels. Additionally, there was water placed beside the mini bar, and we did not realize it was charged as part of the mini bar until checkout. It would be better if that water were placed in the fridge with the other beverages, especially since complimentary bottled water was already provided in the room. Overall, this hotel truly lives up to its five-star rating. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Panama!

Beautiful view and fun DJ at the pool. Gym was fantastic and walking distance to main attractions. Eduardo at the check in and check out desk was very professional and sweet. His personality makes you want to return to this hotel. Ashanti at the pool side was also very friendly and helpful 🤩

Where do I even start with the W Panama 🇵🇦? My stay was absolutely wonderful. The room was super clean, and the staff was incredible—friendly, helpful, and truly went above and beyond from start to finish. Everyone made sure I felt comfortable the entire time. The location is also perfect, close to shops and plenty of food options. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Panama! Special thank you to Ishmael

We went to the W and took the elevator to floor LB. Have a happy hour a La Cajita. The view of the city is spectacular and the service was excellent. Lucca treated us very well and with great hospitality. We look forward to visiting again.

Fantastic hotel. Super clean and modern. Incredible attention to details all thru the entire hotel. Don’t forget the massive breakfast buffet and the hot chocolate at Paul ! Make this your next location to stay in Panama City!! You won’t be sorry!!!

I stayed at this beautiful property a few weeks ago. Paolo, the gentleman working the front desk, customer service was top tier. And the lady that works at the front door. I believe her name was Geneva- she made sure that we got in and out of our Ubers safely at night! 5 stars all around!
