W15 Hanthana Estate

Had a wonderful stay at W15 Hanthana Estate. Amazing location in the mountains outside Kandy, and impeccable service from the staff, who were always super friendly, attentive, and helpful. The high tea served on the veranda overlooking the hills was an incredible experience. The hotel also had a very knowledgeable naturist on site who introduced us to the nature and history of the surrounding area, including the nearby tea plantations. Will definitely come back next time we visit Sri Lanka! 🇱🇰

We stayed for one night at W15 Hanthane. From the moment we checked in, the whole experience was great. We were well looked after by Navod, he makes quite a good drink. The facilities are top notch and we stayed at the bungalow suite. The team also prepared a cake for our wedding anniversary - lovely thought. Service throughout was thoughtful and showed true care. Another point to add was the nature walk : don’t miss it. The naturalist Bhanuka was extremely knowledgable and you could see that he loved his work. He pointed out several interesting facts and answered all our questions. ||While the price is on the higher side, the facilities, services and super location provide value for money.

This is a gorgeous resort. The view and surroundings are breathtaking. The service was excellent and our butlers Hastha, Sheriff, and Prabod were extremely kind and very professional. We had a wonderful tour in the area with the naturalist of the resort. We learned so much from him! Hope to return soon.

We visited W15 Hanthana for lunch and were absolutely blown away by the experience! 🌿✨ The atmosphere was so cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy good company. The staff went above and beyond — not only were they incredibly warm and welcoming, but they also kindly offered us a space to pray, even though we were only there for lunch.||Their hospitality didn’t stop there — they took the time to share fascinating pieces of the location’s history with us, adding a unique and personal touch to our visit. It truly made the whole experience extra special.||And of course, the food was just as impressive — fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. 🍽️ Every bite was a delight!||Top-notch customer service, delicious food, and an unforgettable atmosphere. We left with full hearts and full stomachs, already planning our next visit! 💛

Incredible hotel, best I’ve ever stayed in. Sheriff couldn’t do enough for me, and despite it raining most of the time during my stay, the staff ensured I had a fantastic time keeping me well fed and watered! The food and drink are fantastic, and the menu has a wide range to choose from. The rooms are absolutely stunning and the beds and bedding are super comfortable. Would come back in a heartbeat!

We were there to celebrate my birthday. From the beginning to the end it was wonderful experience. The bungalow manager is very polite and the staff specifically Sheriff & Manjula was taking care of everything we needed. Location is isolated from others and have no disturbances. Rooms are huge and very good if you are staying with children.Nice views all around the property. Looking forward to go back again.

We had a wonderful day at W15 Hanthana! Navod was an excellent host and looked after us very well. Would definitely recommend the Sri Lankan breakfast and don’t miss out on High Tea in the afternoon. 10/10 would absolutely recommend this place
