Where to Stay in Bangkok (Updated 2025)

"I stayed in plain but comfortable mid-range rooms with wood furnishings and decent beds at W22; the walls are well soundproofed for good rest in Chinatown, and there’s a rooftop bar, laundry room, and a common area with a pool table — it’s also next to Soi Nana’s bars and clubs." - Matthew Kepnes

Loved my stay! Was really a great location, easy to walk to many good spots as well as the subway. Clean rooms and communal spaces were super cool. I would stay again for sure. Staff was also nice and allowed me to leave my bag after checking out

Overall I was very happy with my stay here. The room was very comfortable, had great AC and wifi, but I wish it had a better view, and I wish they had the option of balcony. Location was good- a short walk to Chinatown and Soi Nana- but the actual street the hotel is on is loaded with hookers at night, so it can seem a bit dodgy if you aren't prepared for that.

We just had breakfast at W22. It’s a buffet where you can take whatever you like at a very reasonable price. You can enjoy typical Thai dishes such as green curry, or choose from a variety of international options like toast, eggs, jam, yogurt, fruit, and cereals. There’s also a section with hot drinks and another with cold ones — we saw orange juice and water available. The hotel and the restaurant are both very clean, and the staff is polite and welcoming.

Hotel is nicely decorated. Has its own charm. loved the amenities. We had a late night flight out, and we could leave our luggage at the reception and come back to chill at the lounge before we head to the airport. Location is very convenient for us to travel around Bangkok. It's safe, but you may feel uneasy walking back to the hotel at night. Nevertheless, good hotel for seasoned Bangkok travellers!

The hotel is located very close to Chinatown, which makes it super convenient for food lovers. There are so many delicious local options nearby, especially the famous Koay Chap stall that has even been awarded a Michelin mention. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to explore the authentic taste of Thailand while enjoying a comfortable stay.

Just left Bangkok from a 4 nights 5 day blazing adventure, and my stay at W22 Hotel have lessened the heat I endured. Hotel is clean, great staff who always wear their smile, specially the one in glasses, not sure if he's chinese, sorry, forgot to ask his name, and those on duty today And the 2nd floor was great, (massage chairs, lounge area, washing machines, free coffee, etc) where we stayed from 12 noon til our transport picked us at at 5pm Will definitely recommend to friends who'd wish to visit Bangkok. Kudos everyone. Great Job. !!!

You get a lot of bang for your buck staying here. It was really convenient having amenities I can use while I wait for my late night flight (e.g. in house laundry, treadmill, massage chairs, and very quiet lounge area). Staff members are great and accommodating. Look forward to staying here again when I come back.
