"Wadi Rum Night Luxury Camp Why we love it :A luxury campsite with bubble tents for sleeping under the stars The Highlights: - Bubble tents with private bathrooms so you can camp in luxury - An on-site restaurant and lounge area decorated with traditional Arabian furniture - Activities like four-by-four and camel tours of Wadi Rum The Review: A night at Wadi Rum Night Luxury Camp makes you feel as if you’re exploring some alien world. Here, a long boardwalk links a collection of space-like silver bubbles that are actually inflatable tents, kept round and sturdy by a nifty airlock entrance that enhances the extraterrestrial vibe. Inside, guests will find their own bed and even a small bathroom with a shower, but the real highlight comes at night when you can pull back the external shade on your bubble and gaze through the domed ceiling at the Milky Way (there’s no need to worry about privacy, as domes are arranged to create distance from your neighbors). Things come back down to earth in the communal dining tent made from traditional Bedouin wool, though the contrast can make your space-age accommodation feel even more surreal. Should you prefer something slightly more traditional, the camp is also home to 25 glamping tents, equipped with Bedouin sofas, mirrors, lamps, king-size beds dressed in the finest linens, and electricity in the evenings via solar power. Each tent also has a private terrace overlooking the Wadi Rum mountains, and there’s a cozy common area where you can watch the stars at night. During the day, the staff provides four-by-four and camel tours of the surrounding desert, complete with opportunities for sunset photography and delicious meals back at the camp."

For Wadi Rum, the camp is excellent. We booked a triple room, and it was spacious and clean with good functioning AC. The bathroom was quite big and the shower worked well. The staff was very polite, flexible and organized. The dinner was good - perhaps could have been better - but the rest of the experience made up for it. Highlight of our stay was the starlit sky that we enjoyed from the Bedouin seating area with a fireplace and fresh tea. We hope to visit again in the future.

Rooms were surprisingly large and functional with air conditioning comfort. Shower which is in an enclosed cylinder shape was however very small and cramped. Very nicely furnished with adequate luggage storage space, indoor lounge viewing and also outdoor chairs on small deck. Bed was on the soft side but comfortable. We did have wi fi in our room which was reasonably close to reception. Torch needed at night to go to seating/fire area which is away from the main dining room and a good place to relax with a cup of tea. Buffet meal was ok with water provided and with help of our tour guide staff arranged a birthday cake celebration for one of the group.

Staying here included a drive through the desert & a couple of stops to see some great sites. This was a lot of fun & the best part of this day.|The camp is in a beautiful location; very private & peaceful. The people working there are extremely nice & helpful. The food was buffet & very good. |The "tent" was a bit of a let-down, as the everything in it is very old & worn looking, with curtains containing small tears & not too clean looking. The bed was like sleeping on a trampoline. When someone moved, the other bounced.|At night there is a large sitting area under the stars, where there was a small fire burning & they feed you tea. There are coloured lights shining on the mountain. That's about it. Nothing else.

The location is beautiful, set against desert rocks in Jordanian desert. The cabins were average. The shower was very small. The heater/ac didn't work, but it is difficult to get help at night because you have to walk to the reception. ||Food was good. The staff were friendly. We did a 30 minute sunset camel ride through the desert which was fabulous!! ||I dont know how far the other camps are, but it took us about 45 minutes to get to this camp from the village.

This camp has seen better times for sure. Full of stars tent accommodation is worn out. Half of them are dismantled. The remaining ones have multiple repair marks and practically plastic severely damaged by weather. I was able to see stars only at 4 am. The wooden walkway full of nails and basically complete trap for walking in the dark. WiFi existed only around reception and restaurant. Transfer from visitor center is another point of great concern- cars so worn out and practically falling apart. Staff not care about those things and react rude if anyone make them comments about these issues. If you really want to stay there then choose cheaper tents without any hesitation or better go somewhere else.

What a surprise this was. This is definitely luxury camping. And the location in Wadi Rum is out of this world. No need to describe the tents since there's plenty of pictures. We went in mid-February, so it was a bit chili. However the heater kept the main part of the tent nice. I'm just glad I didn't need to take a shower, the bathrooms only get whatever heat leaks through (which ain't much). The meals were more than adequate, nothing fancy. But a decent variety of Jordanian buffet food.

This is seriously posh glamping. Set nestled in the desert rocks, out on its own. A magical experience, the room was plush and comfy. Large en-suite shower, with air con. The supper we had was probably the best meal I had in Jordan. The breakfast also great. Lovely to sit out by the fire and watch the stars around the campfire. Only small note would have been nice for a bit of ethnic music or dance. However would definitely recommend. They has pod too where you could sleep under the stars.

The facilities at the camp were very good, especially considering its location. The staff were pleasant and helpful (although my lack of Arabic was evident). The food options were limited to the buffet dinner and breakfast, but both had adequate options and the food was good.|A few things worth bearing in mind - (i) While the site had WiFi, it was only available at the reception (cell signal is not available anywhere); (ii) the camp does not serve alcohol, but they allow guests to carry their own.
