Wadigi Island Resort

We travel frequently but this was a private Island magical experience for our 30th anniversary! The place and the surroundings were impeccable. Paradise! The place is yours and private. Did I mention the staff? Well they cannot be surpassed. The service, the hospitality, the kindness and the warmth were spectacular. Everyone was so interested in making our experience perfect. Our 2 chefs created magic with each and every meal! Our boatman, shared his village and the beautiful waters around the island. WOW! Always smiling and appreciative of life. The drinks, the massage, the Kava ceremony and our anniversary celebration, perfect. Each and every person contributed to making it feel like home and a true experience of a lifetime!!! We felt like we were leaving family and that was just after spending four days there! It is expensive but if you can possibly do at the very least 3 days here, you will not be disappointed. You will be WOWed!

We had a wonderful girls trip to Wadigi Island for my 50th birthday. We spent 5 nights on the island and had an absolute ball. The owners and staff made us feel so welcome from the time we arrived. By the time we left we felt like we were leaving family. The food was exceptional, there was not a meal that didn't wow us all. Wadigi Island has two world class chefs who do an amazing job on a small island with no shops anywhere nearby. They even made me a superb birthday cake and gave me a surprise birthday dinner party, decorations, song and all. Snorkelling was exceptional but to be honest it was hard to leave our horizon pool with the stunning view. You can be as busy or as relaxed as you wish on Wadigi, the choice is yours. Tia, our boat captain, took us to see his village. This was wonderful and the children at the local school were just a joy. Adi was our fantastic bar person. She could anticipate our needs by Day 2. From coffee to cocktails, this lovely lady could do it all. The rooms were fantastic. Pure Fiji amenities were lovely. Our housekeepers did a fantastic job never did we need to ask for a thing. They had it all done for us.Tracey, the owner, saw us each morning to give us a weather update. We all enjoyed having our morning chats mostly starting with our compliments about the staff and how much we were enjoying ourselves.

My partner, little girl and I only had 2 nights on the island which was not nearly enough! This little piece of paradise is stunning! We had an unforgettable time here, arriving by helicopter we were greeted by the staff and owners - Jim and Tracey. We were treated like royalty, fed and watered with the tastiest cocktails and food from Chef's Lai, Sai and hostess Adi. The island is pristine but has a real homely feel. We made the most of our short time with drinks in the infinity pool, kayaking, snorkelling and the family favourite tubing behind Wadigi's boat with our Captain Tia. Looking forward to coming back next time to try out some of the islands many other activities as the possibilities seem endless. Whether you want to just chill out in the hammock and watch the boats and clouds go by or venture round different islands doing activities, this is an awesome place for couples, families or groups. Our 5 year old never had a bored moment and was well entertained by the staff. ||||Thanks so much for the awesome experience! See you next time, hopefully for longer!

How can you go past an island all to yourself? We stayed two nights as the only guests and were served delicious meals and cocktails by extremely helpful staff. The sunsets are amazing, there are nearby coral reefs to explore, and there's a great infinity pool to chill in. Seriously, I have never been so blown away by an experience.

We were blessed to spend 4 amazing nights of pure pampering on this island.||The staff are truly beautiful people.||Our day consisted of a glorious breakfast of freshly made muffins, scones, pancakes, hot bacon and eggs, omelette, hot coffee and more - the choice was endless.||We then had the use of the boat, with our captain Tia guiding us around this spectacular part of the world. Personally I love to snorkel, becoming lost in the magical world as Wadigi's doorstep.||Lunch was another amazing feast prepared by two talented and ever smiling chefs and served by our beautiful hostess Adi. They have a way of making you feel so special, relaxed and happy.||Dinner was another 3 course amazing fine dining experience. The food at Wadigi is some of the best I have had in the world. The attention to detail, like the tasty sauces, had us eager to see what was being served at each meal. You could be specific about what food you wanted on the island, however as we have a wide pallet we were happy for the chefs to cook their favourite dishes for us. The last night was the most amazing 3 course meal down on the beach, including the best lobster tails I have ever tasted.||The rooms at Wadigi are second to none. The peaceful, open setting on top of the island allows 360 degree views of this slice of paradise. A dip in the pool overlooking the pacific is amazing too - just perfect.||Loved our time here and would recommend for sure.||Price is very steep, however if you can afford a whole island exclusively for yourself than this is the place to be.

Everything about this island is all you could hope for and more! The staff is amazing and so accommodating, and the island is so beautiful you honestly can't go wrong! I got to spend a week in paradise with my fiancé and we can't wait to go back, the food was amazing and even though we were on a private island all to ourselves there wasn't once when we were left bored or with nothing to do. We can't wait to go back and can't say enough great things about the owners, staff and location!

If you're looking for a peaceful paradise, where the only sounds are birdsong, rustling palm fronds and gentle waves lapping, then Tracey and Jim's Wadigi Island is perfect for you! We spent a heavenly 4 days on Wadigi, where we were pampered by Mela; toured the seas with Tia; and fed gourmet delights by Sai and Lai. The luxury of not having to think about what to eat throughout the day can't be overestimated. We had a serene few days as a couple but couldn't help planning how we can bring a posse of friends next time for a fabulous fiesta!! An experience that shouldn't be missed.

Ever wondered what paradise looks like? - Look no further, Wadigi Island is as cozy as it gets. The colors of Fiji combined with the originality of this hidden gem of an island really puts you in a daze. Every morning I spent here on this Island opened my eyes to what real joy looks like - finding happiness in the small things. I stayed here for a couple days and couldn't even begin to cross off all of the "To Do's" this little Island has in stock: - Hand Fishing with Uncle Tia - a real Fijian Kava ceremony celebration - a private boat taking me to Surf Cloud-break during the 2016 Fiji Pro - Magnificent Snorkeling - The food was easily 5 stars. I have lived in Fiji (SavuSavu) before and NEVER had access to the types of food served here.. Kudo's to the staff. - The stars at night are breath taking - Hammocks everywhere on this island! - The beach is safe for the kids to play (Sunscreen!) - The landscaping is well put together and very balanced - The Honeymoon sweet is definitely one I plan on coming back to ;) - HelicopterRide and landing on the private Heli-Pad was a thrill! - Many different species of beautiful birds fly just on the island banks - Stand Up Paddle Boards, Boogie Boards (All the toys available to guest) The list goes on and on, yet I would like to sum up Wadigi as a very Romantic little Island. Simple and Extravagant, it will NOT disappoint whoever is lucky enough to call it home.
