Waffle Me Up is an interesting food and coffee shop with all food related to the waffle topic, the idea is creative and the food is fun and delicious. Whether you are a big fan of waffles, you can always find something you enjoy here. The shop shares the dinning area with Boise Fried Company, it’s has a stylish, cozy and artistic vibe inside, but can be noisy sometimes. It’s noticeable that the prices have risen up for the food and deserts here, so the prices on the menu photos are not accurate, whether it’s worth the new price is up to your budget.

Absolutely loved this place! The waffles were delicious, the service was amazing, and the staff was so friendly. Can’t wait to come back!

First time here, hands down the BEST customer service you could think of. Didn’t hesitate to great us as we walked in and was taken care of along with the customer he was in the middle of helping. My wife ordered chicken and waffles (we are from Georgia/Tennessee) I was definitely took by surprise, best chicken and waffles we have ever had, no exaggeration behind that. I got the Bob Deluxe and quality of the food, preparation of the food was absolutely fantastic. Will definitely refer to family/friends and will definitely be back.

I absolutely loved it. I loved it so much that I went 3 days in row while I was visiting Boise. As a Belgian native, I can confirm these waffles are the real deal! “A little taste of home”. Many places offer “Belgian Waffles”, but so far I haven’t run into a place that can make them as good as Waffle me Up does. I definitely recommend the Waffle Me Strawberry! Great combo. Service was excellent. Kind people that serve you with a smile. I felt welcome as a customer.

Had an amazing time. Went on a whim and got the strawberry me up. Not too sweet. Eveeything was fresh and delicious. Sometimes restaurant strawberries are creepy but these were high quality and delectable. Service was friendly and fun. Will be returning for all my waffle needs.

We Came in today for the first time for my mom’s birthday and had such an amazing experience! The owner made us feel so welcome and was super helpful! He even added a little candle to my mom’s waffle to celebrate her! To top it off the waffles were AMAZING! We had the strawberry waffle!! 10/10 would recommend! Best waffles in town!

Perfect breakfast/brunch spot. You can taste the passion in the food and see it in the owner. We got the original, the bobacado deluxe and the peanut butter & currant waffles. It was a struggle to pick a favorite, they were all amazing. Definitely going to make this a regular stop when in Boise.

This is BY FAR the BEST breakfast spot i’ve ever eaten. The waffle was light and fluffy with a little bit of a crispy outside. The chicken reminded me of Raising Canes with better flavor and cleaner ingredients. I will 100% go out of my way to come here over other breakfast restaurants in the area. Great clean food for a phenomenal price, and super friendly environment. All around a great experience

Bob Deluxe and Strawberry waffle was outstanding. The waffle batter is yeast based and crunchy and delicious! Owner is very kind! Was a great breakfast experience!

Dare I say the best waffles I have ever had? I dare. They were absolutely perfect in every way. My wife & split the sweet snd savory to make sure we tried a little bit of "everything" and I'm so glad we did. It was the perfect combo. The service/server was awesome, she helped us sub Nutella for cookie butter because we were torn on wanting strawberries over bananas, but not huge Nutella fans. Such. A. Good. Call. The only reason I have to take away a star is because we really wanted coffee with our waffles, but as soon as we saw a $2 up charge for alternative milk we had to back out, that's an insane jump in price for a $5 coffee & we can only drink oat or almond, so that's a bummer! But we'll be back for those waffles again, just grabbing our drinks elsewhere I suppose.

Common food (waffles and breakfast fare) served with an unusual flair. VERY VERY GOOD. Owner is very personable and friendly and will stand in his head to make sure you're happy with your breakfast. Definitely will go back.

Came here yesterday for brunch and really enjoyed it. The menu is very simple which I like and if you don't like waffles this probably isn't your place. They will basically build you whatever kind of creation you want off their menu onto a waffle or choose one of their own creations. I had the Bobs deluxe which was a base waffle with an over easy egg bacon and avocado and drizzled with syrup. Very good blend of sweet and savory. I also had the peanut butter and banana waffle also very good. Both waffles were very much enjoyed and hard to decide my favorite. Inside this place is shared with Boise fry company and has open seating between the places. Very clean inside and well kept with a good amount of high and low tables to choose from. What was the tipping scale for a 4 star was the service yesterday 11/19 at approx 11:30a. The young blonde male working was one of the nicest and friendliest people I have encountered in a long time. He made such an impression that my 19 yo Boise state student who recommended this place asked if we had the same guy yesterday and was a topic of our dinner conversation. In a time when businesses are strolling to find great help you have landed a gem. I wound highly recommend and will for sure be coming back.

Visiting from CA, and this place had all the good vibes and yummy waffles! We ordered the chicken and waffles as well as the waffle me strawberry. Both were super yummy! Their waffles have a sweetness and texture that is very unique! Also the owner and his daughter were so sweet and kind to literally everyone inside. The waffles were a great size and easy to share.

Loved this place! I brought my friends from out of town here and we all loved our waffles. Probably the best waffle I have ever had. Definitely recommend. It was fast, delicious, and reasonably priced.

I really like the waffles there, but they were out of bananas when we came in. So instead of the banana, the worker said they could do the same waffle with strawberries instead of bananas. What I didn't realize until later is that I was charged extra for the substitution! Regardless, we all enjoyed our waffles and I would go back.

I'm giving 4 stars, but 3.5 is more accurate for me. This place shares a space with Boise Fry Co, so if you just have to have some purple fries while you're here--you're in luck! We came in at 9:45 on the Saturday of family weekend--no small feat finding a place for 8 to eat! (Or any number, for that matter....) the menu offers sweet and savory waffles, about 4 varieties of each. Don't come here looking for something light or healthy to eat; better just to give in to your indulgence. They have quite a few smaller tables and a number of 8-tops and we had no trouble securing a table. Husband and I split the Bob Deluxe (egg, melted havarti, bacon, maple syrup and basil), no need for the avocado, IMO, because we also had lunch plans and didn't want to be too full. It was a bit small to split, so I guess if you're looking for light, this is the way. The flavors were tasty and went well together. The basil was a really nice touch. The waffle was more dense and chewy than I was expecting or wanting. I prefer a lighter fluffier, crispy on the outside waffle. But it looks like they are intentional and how they create their waffles. All in all, it was good, and I recommend giving it a try.

Waffles = main dish, duh it's called Waffle Me Up. But they a have done a great job giving a tasty variety with such a minimal menu. It's definitely a place we visit if not every time we're in Boise but definitely every other. They have an easy walk up order system and a large open seating area. 10/10

Our first time visiting Boise and found this absolute gem!! The Liege waffles are beyond delicious!!! So, so good. But what really makes this place was the incredible, friendly service. Great things being made by people who care with great attitudes. It makes all the difference. Also, the coffee was surprisingly delicious! We will be back.

A great place if you're craving a sweeter meal! There are not a lot of menu options and there are no vegan options. The waffles themselves are fantastic! The batter is made with a hint of sweetness so it balanced out the savory nature of the cheese and eggs. The waffles are on the smaller size though; about the size of a hand or a little bigger. The service was what made it a great experience. We were celebrating a birthday and they made sure to make it really special with a candle on the waffle. The waffles are $10+ but are stacked with a nice amount of toppings. The space is shared with the Fry Company so it can get a little rowdy since it's two locations in one.

Great location right in downtown Boise close to the Capitol Building. We went on Monday morning and got were able to find street parking. You get 20 minutes and then you can get up to 2 more hours for about $5. When you go in, you order at the counter and then your food will be brought out to you. They share a space with Boise Fry Co. My husband and I ordered the chicken and waffles and my daughter ordered the kids Winnie #2 meal. My meal was delicious. The breading on the chicken had a good crunch and flavor and the chicken itself was moist as the waffle was sweet and delicious. My daughter loved her meal, especially since it included some of her favorites: strawberries, Nutella, and bacon! Staff was super friendly and the restaurant itself was clean with a lot of seating. Def come and check this place out! There is another location in Eagle.

I don't leave many reviews, but this place was great! Came here on a whim for breakfast between doctors appointments. Service: Next level good. We let them know it was our first time coming in. They had excellent recommendations and were very friendly. The owner even came out to see how we were enjoying our food and to have a chat. 5/5 Food: My wife and I split the Chicken and Waffles with a side of eggs and bacon. The waffle was dense and sweet, with excellent flavor. The portion of chicken was huge, lightly breaded, juicy, and very flavorful. The gravy, a house specialty, was beyond delicious. No joke, it gave me goose bumps. We'll definitely be back. The food and experience were great. I've always been a fan of Roscoe's in CA, and I liked this better.

BEST WAFFLES AND CHICKEN EVER!! Every time I visit Boise I have to make a stop here and I always get the waffle me up strawberry, fruits always fresh, warm waffle with Nutella and fresh whipped cream! This was the first time I got their fried chicken, oh my god, just go try it. It's so fresh and seasoned and the gravy was so great. The owner, Hector, always chats with us and offers the best customer service! I can't wait until they open at the airport this Winter!

Was looking for brunch to meet friends from out of town. This wasn't it, as they don't do brunch, but the waffles are amazing, just the right amount of sweet and savory. They have some selections already on the menu and of course some create your own. I highly recommend Waffle Me Up!

I've never left poor review before, but felt obligated to save fellow gluten free individuals from spending an unnecessary amount of money. The staff here were nice but that is the only thing going for them. If you are gluten free and are excited to experience a gluten free waffle, this place is NOT for you. I've been gluten free since I was 11 years old, and the gf waffle they put in front of me was reminiscent of the very first gf bread I ever tried. A reheated frozen solid brick that was dusty with no flavor. I had two bites and didn't finish. My boyfriend got a regular waffle and also didn't finish it, so I don't think they're really that good either way. Also they were out of bananas first thing on a Monday morning, not sure how that happens.

Update, I went back a third time and got the bobacado with a piece of that awesome chicken on the side. 10/10 would recommend.

One of my wife and I's favorite breakfast places! The atmosphere and employees are always very welcoming. This location is right near the capital, with a large selection of parking garages nearby; the building is also shared with Boise fry company, so there has always been ample seating while we have been there! Food is delicious and the menu is easy to understand!

I don't care how good the food is, but waiting for almost an hour to have our order delivered to the table is totally unacceptable. The staffs are young and slow. They finished other customers order before us. Very unprofessional customer services

Visiting my parents from out of state they were so excited to take me to eat at Waffle Me Up in downtown Boise. Gluten Free waffles are hard to find, but these are a found treasure. Having the mix of Boise Fry Company and Waffle Me Up in the same building set an awesome mood. The waffles have a special sugar that just makes the shell sweet and crispy. The owner and the son were such great hosts and excited to share their amazing and fresh products. Was super excited to see they had peanut butter!! My mom found a way to get me to visit more!

This place is good. I tried their strawberry chocolate one and it was good. Maybe a little bit on the sweet end but that's what you expect when you look at the picture.

Me and my friends came for my friends birthday brunch and the waffles were undesirably, from the strawberries to the amazing waffles! Probably the best waffles I have ever had! I will definitely be coming back and bringing more people!!

Mmm! These waffles tasted like cinnamon rolls and even though I typically prefer not the mix savory with sweet, I thoroughly enjoyed my egg and cheese-topped waffle. The fresh-basil gave it an extra punch, and I knew it was fresh as I saw the potted basil plants on the counter. My spouse and children loved their strawberry waffles as well, and we appreciated that the portions aren't huge. We sat outside with the view of the capitol building a block away from us. The staff were pleasant and engaging as well.

Dropped in here for the waffles. It was fairly busy. It also shares a space with the Boise Fry Co. we placed an order for the Waffles & Chicken plus bacon, and a Bobacado Deluxe with no cheese. The kitchen prep space is open for everyone to see. It took about 10 mins for us to get our food. It was presented pretty. Omg. It was soooo good!! The gravy for the chicken I got on the side because I like to control the portions but it was sooo good. It reminded me of cream chipped beef gravy but I think it was bacon?? The chicken was nice and juicy not dry. We will surely return when in town.

ok so disclaimer, I'm a belgian that lives in the states and adores leige waffles! my husband and I were visiting Boise for oir babymoon and when I saw this for a breakfast option I was super excited! we got the Bobacado and banana waffle one. I wanted A plain liege waffle too but knew that would be too much. Sweet Hector the owner brought me one on the house and everything was just soooooo delicious and satisfying. I also got their chair tea and can not wait to come back to get my belgian waffle fix without having to go over seas!! Thank you Hector

Hurray for waffles! This restaurant is an awesome breakfast option in downtown Boise. It shares a space with Boise Fry Co, but there's plenty of seating in the bright, open space, so you don't even notice there are two restaurants in one shop. The waffles here are amazing. At first they look a little small, but they are piled with toppings and so dense and intensely flavored that you don't need a huge portion to be satisfied. The waffles are offered as either sweet, savory, or a mixture of both. For sweet, you can get nutella and strawberries, banana and cookie butter, or design your own from a number of toppings like syrup, whipped cream, or a seasonal choice like caramelized apples. Savory choices feature the BOB, which is syrup, basil and bacon. They can take that model and add avocado, a fried egg, or remove the bacon for a vegetarian version. The avocado I was served with creamy and perfectly ripe and beautifully arranged on the waffle. They use just the right amount of syrup for it to have a light sweetness but not to conflict with the other ingredients. To go with your waffle you can get some incredible coffee. They have a full espresso bar with lattes, etc., and also have brewed coffee with DIY refills. They brew Dawson Taylor and it was piping hot, full bodied, and rich. So much better than most brunch coffee, and actually pretty cheap too. The prices can seem high for what you get, but they actually use local ingredients and those cost more. I think it's worth it for the quality you get here. You can get a quick breakfast or sit and linger. This is a great option for lunch too, because waffles are always delicious. Definitely give them a try. The owner, Hector, is incredibly personable and will probably welcome you and chat you up. The whole staff is friendly and hard working too. Support this great little restaurant.

This place is pretty dang cool, to be completely honest. I love the idea, and the entire concept is executed very well! One of the servers was very nice to show my husband and I the sugar crystals they use to give the waffles their distinctive sweet taste. I actually really enjoyed my waffle and my husband's his as well. The peaches on my waffle were obviously fresh and not from a can. My husbands savory waffle was delicious as well! The egg was cooked perfectly and there was plenty of bacon piled on top. The waffles were rather small though, and my hungry wasn't satisfied at the end of the meal. I hate to criticize on price. I usually don't. In fact, most of the time I'm more than willing to pay more knowing my money is going to a local family business. As good as these waffles are, I'm not sure if they are so good as to charge almost $10 a waffle. And I hate saying that - it hurts me! But this is the one aspect that continually draws me away from Waffle Me Up. I think Waffle Me Up has the potential to become a Boise must-try restaurant one day. I would recommended to anyone, local or passerby.

Amazing service as soon as you walk-in followed by the best waffles I've ever had. Ordered the Waffle me Strawberry & Banana along with the Bob Deluxe. All three were excellent!

My kids are still talking about their waffles a week later! The peanut butter honey on the banana waffle was one of the yummiest things I have ever eaten. Great customer service! I would definitely recommend this place.

I was introduced to liège waffles years ago at a hole-in-the-wall joint, Off the Waffle, in Eugene, Oregon. When they talk about Belgium waffles in Belgium, they're not talking about batter waffles in a deep iron. No, they mean yeast-dough waffles spiked with pearly sugar. After you've had the real thing, those batter ones pale in comparison. The liège waffles at Waffle Me Up are as good as they get. When you bite into the small pearls of sugar, you know why these are super special. I had the waffle and chicken, which comes with cream gravy. They were quite good. The order line was a little confusing. No one said we needed to move past the front case to the cash register to order. Another family walked past us without bothering to see if we were in line and went to order. The order taker didn't look around to see we were there first. Odd. The mocha I had was bitter. I would not order it again. I took off a star after watching a worker, in a store T-shirt, run outside to feed the meter right in front of the restaurant. Apparently, spaces out front are for workers and not customers. There are other towns where businesses are fined when their workers take spaces meant for customers.

Great atmosphere our first time here my son and I ordered the waffle with chicken had the gravy on the side. Glad I did the chicken and the waffles don't even need any thing to cover it up. They taste amazing the gravy was great itself. My son gives it a 10 out of 10 the chicken is so soft, but crunchy. The waffle was just amazing we will definitely be trying to make a trip out here again.

If you like sweet waffles then this is the place for you! Not all the toppings are sweet, as there are plenty of choices that are savory. Bacon, eggs, cheese, chicken.....etc....The waffles themselves are sweet. My husband loved them! We shared a plain waffle with currant syrup and also the one with cheese, egg and bacon. They make a good waffle but as for me, they were a bit too sweet for my taste. But to each his own... if my husband wants to go back, I wouldn't say no!

Chicken and waffles! Did not have gravy available (owner re-tweaking the recipe), but was just as good with their syrup. Chicken not dry and not heavily breaded and the waffle was not too crispy or undercooked (always seems to be one or the other is an issue at other places that serve this dish). Good portion size as well. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Well done ladies!

Waffle Me Up has been one of my Boise faves since 2019 (so this review is a bit overdue)! It's a bit pricey for waffles, but honestly worth every single penny. They use quality ingredients and such delightful combinations! My go-to order is the Bobacado Deluxe--seriously perfect every time. My husband usually gets the chicken and waffles and I usually steal a couple bites because that is also amazing. If I want something on the sweet side I go for the PB & currant which is simple and hits the spot! I'm certain you couldn't go wrong with anything you order from here!

The waffles are awesome! The texture and taste are totally different than any others we've had. The staff has always been very friendly, welcoming, and kind. Max greets us with enthusiasm always looking at how he can make customers experience better. Location is great for visitors as you can walk around downtown afterwards working off those newfound calories.

Waffle Me Up brings Belgium street food to Boise. Savory and sweet Belgium waffles make a meal, snack, or dessert. Thumbs up. I came for breakfast and ordered the BOB Deluxe "basil on bacon". A fine start for the day. The cheese added a great richness to the meal. The owner came around and talked to the patrons. Friendly and open. Enjoy

The food was great! I appreciate being able to order a side of avacado for my baby. However, any establishment that asks for a tip should try to offer service. I ordered a drip coffee and had to wait for the cashier to finish wrapping silverware to get it. Half the party was served about 20 min ahead of the rest, which is long enough for food to get cold and frustration to set in. There weren't napkins readily available and I was instructed to go to the bathroom to get paper towels to clean up my infant during the meal. The whole experience felt like the staff was grossly under-trained and poorly supervised.

We decided to try this place and were not impressed. On the positive side, the chicken was delicious! Gravy tasted old and waffles were flavorless-not the quality you'd expect from a waffle shop. I had the Bobacado and as I was finishing I realized I never had avocados. We weren't given any syrup and had to ask for it. I think this restaurant should capitalize on its delicious chicken and work on the rest...it could be great!

The food was super good and the staff was super friendly. There was inside and outdoor seating. We opted for the outside to get a view of the Capitol and covid precautions because there were a good amount of people inside. Masks required of course. I got the chicken and waffles however they had ran out of the gravy. The waffle was soft and the chicken was tender. Perfectly breaded too. I wish we could've tried the gravy. I also got the mocha with almond milk. Second option because they ran out of the white chocolate mocha. The mocha was a good alternative. They did give me a coupon for the next time I come in my email. Which was nice.

This place was a no brainer to go while we were in Boise. Located right downtown, they offer amazing waffles made using the authentic equipment from Belgium. Truthfully, the best waffles I had outside Belgium, and I've been all over the USA and half Europe. Worth every penny, would come back and recommend. I even want to open such place in our town.

We we're in Boise for meetings this week. Before heading back to Tampa Friday, we stopped at Waffle Me Up for breakfast. What a great choice! Delicious waffles, eggs cooked perfectly and the staff was great.

I was SO excited to find out they could make Vegan Waffles here! I know, you're probably thinking gross, but I have a dairy allergy, so it's hard to find Waffles with no dairy. I was sad that my first waffle turned out to be a bad one though. My bf, who loves sweets, would not take more than the first bite from it because it was so bad. The inside of the waffle seemed like it was not cooked and crumbled when we tried to cut a piece off. Even the maple syrup and strawberry syrup couldn't save it. My bf asked the lady too if that was normal with coconut flour and he said yes. Me thinks not. 1 Star for her friendly service at least.

Good waffle, good drink and nice atmosphere! I've been meaning to give this place a try and I am glad I did. I love their waffles! They are made from scratch and they use the real Belgian sugar pearls that make their waffles crunchy, sweet and kind of chewy inside! I order a couple of waffles; Bob Deluxe and Waffle Me Strawberry. They were both so yummy! I will be back for sure!
