Visited this place by recommendation and totally loved this place! The staffs are friendly and the whole vibe of the place is very cozy and antique. The bagel sandwiches were amazing. Loved that I get several options for each bagel menu and the staffs’ recommendations were absolutely great. Def going to visit again when I go back to Berlin.

I went there on a Saturday afternoon to experience the cool vintage interior decoration, which is absolutely amazing and definitely the most important highlight at Wahrhaft Nahrhaft. As I mentioned, although there are many chairs outside, it's highly recommended to sit inside. Victorian decors, vintage furniture, and old-school coffee makers shouldn't be missed. Another thing is that board games are available to borrow and play.

The loveliest customer service for breakfast and compared to other cafes nearby still ok prices <3 a lot to offer inside and out and just a wonderful place to sit

Very cool and cozy place with nice relaxed atmosphere. You have to order in the entrance, you can pay when you go. Very tasty food, good coffee, amaizing design, sooooo nice place. Definitely to come back there! Highly recommended!

This is the cutest place ever, makes you want to chill in there all day, sofas are great, interior design is maximalist but on point. ✨ I bought a vegetarian bagel with cheese and jam and just loved it, it was delicious. I want to come back to try it again or taste another one. 🥯 Also the staff was lovely and the prices were very correct! 💯

Great alternative cafe atmosphere and lovely food. We went there with adult children and were all treated with kindness and care. Chia pudding, quiche and coffee were particularly good but desserts were amazing too! Decor was outstanding- plus we got a very comfy seat- important at our age!😃

Omg omg omg! First of all my very big compliment to the staff. The people who work here and helped us where so friendly . It's sad that that was the first thing that occurred to me. In every place they should be so nice and gentle as in this place. Then, we had to eat something. Problem! So many choices.. We decided to buy three bagels and just share. Otherwise I could never have made a decision. You order at the counter and then they will bring it to your table. So that's what we did, we found a nice table within this weird but awesome decor and waited. The decor is something you or you don't. It's a mix of everything. I love it, it gave a good atmosphere to the place. Besides that, it distract you for quite some time. It makes waiting much easier. Before you know it your food is already there. So the food, the most important of a review. I liked it. Although it wasn't very special tough. The bagels where freshly made warmed up at the spot. The juices where also freshly made and had a choice out of many. Just a good place to hang out with friends. Besides the bagels they also have a variety of homemade sweets. Try the one with Oreo, you will eat your fingers!

Great spot to have some coffee or tea or a snack. It's also a really nice place to hang out for a bit and enjoy the ambiance and read or something. The chai latte is good and so is the quiche.

Great place for breakfast or lunch! The quiches are always tasty, and I like the peanut banana vegan cake and the rocky road a lot. The staff is friendly and very willing to help out. I think some people might find the decoration a bit 'over the top' but it definitely gives the place character. Also, very dog and child friendly!

Bagels were virtually unheard of in Berlin much less Germany when I first lived in this 'hood. But now I've found this place, and I'm sticking to it. The bagels are fresh, I believe homemade, and come in a good variety. There's also damned good quiche, tasty cakes, yogurt muesli, fruit salad and all kinds of good breakfast stuff. All healthy. Plus the space itself is comfortable, like a kitsch detonation of three living rooms impacted one another. Enjoy.

This place used to be my go-to coffee shop during my high school days, when it was still located on Boxhagener Straße. It was there where I had the first flavoured latte of my life as well as my first bagel and just for those amazing two - yet expensive - remaining years of my high school being, I'll always love "Wahrhaft Nahrhaft".

After getting up and leaving from a nearby restaurant due to not receiving our food after an hour and fifteen minutes, we were at our wits end, and this place saved the day. Friendly and fast service...amazing what properly staffing a restaurant will do! Really nice food as well, with plenty of options to chose from. While I was a bit sad that you couldn't customize your sandwich, I also realize that this is what makes more room for fast service. I should also add, that when the server accidentally brought out our cappuccinos to the wrong table which was seated after we were. She apologized (without us even mentioning or caring all that much), and brought out a complimentary desert. In two years of living in Berlin, this is the FIRST time a server has ever made an effort like this to right their wrongs. I left very impressed with this place!

Having heard so much about it and literally living right around the corner, I decided that it was about time to give this place a try. The inside is super cosy and mimics the Berlin, retro I-can-afford-expensive-but-cheap-looking-furniture style, which, these days, doesn't say much in Berlin anymore. At first glance the cafe doesn't look like anything special, but when you take a second look you start discovering. They have an array of bagels, best ones I have had in Berlin, vegan tartes and cookies, freshly mades juices, and delicious bircher müsli (a big bowl only runs for €2,50). The staff is also friendly and even though the place is always packed, you can still carry a conversation, All in all I was pleasantly surprised and will be back super soon for the bircher müsli!

Loved this cafe! Had a nice spinach and sweet potato soup on a cold day in Berlin. Also had a good banana and peanut butter vegan cake that was wonderful. Cute interior as well!

An intimate setting and nice place to relax. The spacious set up without cramming the space up allows for you to enjoy a bit of quiet time or have a good chat with friends like you're sitting around in a living room. Alternatively, there are tables to work at (only downside is no wifi for those who need internet to work). I didn't really know what I wanted, just something to drink. An orange/carrot/ginger juice was recommended so I went for it. It was nice! And the ginger was nice and strong. A bit pricey at 4.50 euros but in my mind, I was also paying for the space to relax and not be bothered. I would definitely return and recommend this place to friends.

Super tasty bagels in all kinds of varieties. Good drinks. Nice staff. Love the whole display of bagels and baked goods - easy to understand and make decisions. Now I just need to try their cakes! I've taken people here for snacks or breakfast several times.

Decent place for a lunch time sandwich, relaxing vibe and friendly staff. This place appears to be primarily a coffee shop but offers a limited selection of sandwiches, most served on bagels.

Super adorable little spot with really friendly service! I would be happy to give them more stars if they had a well trained chef working there- This is the perfect cafe spot to go with your friends, grab a bite to eat and chat to your hearts content! They even have a few vegan options, which is nice. The only downfall was that food we ordered, on more than one occasion, lacked a certain amount of flavor, but it is fine for the money you pay. My husband loved it, but he is used to Berlin street style food. Coming from Cali, the food capital of the US and being a trained Chef myself has spoiled me a bit ;) Definitely check this place out if you are going out for a girls day!
