Its hard to imagine or explain the feeling you get when all your favorite Japanese foods get together under one roof. I went to this place and couldn't comprehend what was happening. From great sushi to ramon to any other type of Japanese food you have a choice to pick. One of the most unique food experiences you get in Honolulu and everyone should go visit it.

Barrios: Tasty broth. I ate it all Update: I still dont know the name of it but it's the tempera place with only 3 tempera bowls. We ate here numerous times and each time it's still super tasty and flavorful

This busy Japanese food hall is very convenient and serves great food! All of the dishes are super flavorsome and taste delicious. One of the places here you HAVE TO go to is the place near the desert shop. It sells little rice balls that have different fillings in them (see picture). The other restaurants basically sell the same thing as the other two pictures. The dessert shop I mentioned earlier has creative looking shaved ice that you should try. It is really tall and melts quickly but the taste is luscious. In conclusion, visit this place for good high quality food. Also, it is right underneath a shopping mall! The whole area is a shopping plaza too.

Neat food court. Has a nice variety of Japanese cuisines to select from. Has a decent selection of ramen choices as well. Atmosphere is really nice. Can physically see what the food will look like with models. Menu choices also have pictures accompanying them. Menu is also in English.

Bario Ramen was amazing. You could eat here for weeks and not sample all the amazing food. Recommend by a local, this place has so many great Japanese restaurants. There is also a whiskey bar that seems well stocked with Suntory.

We stumbled upon this place while walking to another restaurant. We walked in and thought we somehow went to Japan. All of the little restaurants offered such a bug variety of Japanese food: sushi, curry, ramen, shabu shabu, Japanese bbq. We ate at the hotpot/bbq place and would definitely do it again. We had never had wagyu beef before so we chose this place to be our first. We did the bbq and got A5 wagyu kalbi, shrimp (head on, shell and tail on), assorted veggies, chicken, pork (which is kinda like bacon but better), and regular kalbi. The grill was easy to figure out and everything was fresh and delicious. Service was also top notch there. They constantly filled our waters and picked up empty dishes quickly. They were also very friendly with our questions (most customers there were Japanese and familiar with the bbq concept. We weren't). This place accepts credit cards but beware as others have said that some places don't. They will have a big sign at the front to say cash only so just look out for that when visiting. There's an ATM by the entry to Ramen Road if you need cash. Overall I would eat here again and at the other spots if I could, but we head out tomorrow. Definitely go visit this place!
