Waipu Cove Resort

An incredible place to stay for a week. Literally 2 minutes walk from the beach, big spacious rooms with nice cafes/takeaways close by... the fishing was exceptional as well!

Had a wonderful 9 days at the resort. The service was fantastic, really friendly and very helpful and the room really comfortable. It is in a great location with the Bream Bay at your doorstep. I have been coming here for 5 year and this year was the best. Fab and Rachel make you feel really welcome and feel really relaxed. The Cove restaurant across the road served up some great meals as well. Will be back next year.

These rooms are well set up for a weekend away or a holiday, I was there for work so really just needed a bed. Has a well equipped kitchen, the only odd thing was i could shut the high windows in the bathroom so it was a bit noisy at the pool… but not late. Nice beach and track walks nearby and recommend the Cove for dinner, it’s just across the road!

Great rooms, comfy beds awesome pool and communal area. Great for the kids, close to all kinds of food and beach. Only down side is wifi is non existent. Would highly recommend and have already made bookings to go back.

We booked a 4 nights stay over easter, we checked the weather forecast just before travelling and realized there was a cyclone heading towards the area, we decided not to tow our caravan during this period, as it turns out there were 130km winds, power outages both at home and the camp ground, we were refused a refund and told ' we would only get a refund if some else booked our exact site ' |We find this unreasonable and unfair to say the least, we gave more than 48 hours notice as the danger and risk was to high. I see on social media this is a common complaint, we will be looking for better accommodation options in the future.

Fabulous! Not 5 star, but great in all respects. Clean, tidy, spacious, v helpful front desk.
