Visiting from far north - first time staying at Waitomo Lodge
Service was good, lady was nice and welcoming...
Can't say the same for the room. Seems alright when you first walk in until you realize you have to keep the curtains open to use the A.C, which didn't feel safe - not a lot of privacy as you can imagine.
The bathroom was VERY outdated, I felt like I was showering in a prison. Lights weren't very bright, shower was not very welcoming, didn't feel clean at all, weird slope as well. The bed I slept on felt flimsy, like it was going to break if I moved. The next day I noticed some bites on my body that weren't there the day before.
Altogether not the greatest experience, especially considering I paid $170 for one night. Probably won't stay again.
