Waitomo Top 10 Holiday Park

Highly recommended! Our first visit exceeded expectations. The kids loved the hot spa and swimming pool, and oversized trampoline. We enjoyed breathtaking sunsets and stunning views. The on-site farm was a delightful bonus. Even the bathroom water pressure was impressive! We will definitely back again!

Excellent camping site. My wife and I have camped around New Zealand over a few years and have stayed at a few top 10 holiday parks and this is our first time here. Most impressed with the flow and logistics of this place, everything we needed was here and near by. We came at a low traffic time of the season, it was a great choice, as it was still lovely but not packed. A lot of friendly campers, a family very friendly campsite. The facilities are very good, well kept, modern and brings a lot of comfort. Anyone expecting hotel or motel services, should really avoid camping or holiday parks. Your overly critical reviews of 2 stars and less make you appear entitled and downright delusional. This is a great place, period.

Love to park itself, clean , lovely pool and campsites are amazing and flat. However we had so much stuff stolen (milk, meat, icecream and 2 full bags of groceries totalling over $100) from the fridge and when mentioning this to reception they shrug it off and consider it your own problem and don't care at all. As this is the only place to store any perishables whilst camping with a tent I would not recommend staying here if you depend on a communal fridge

The staff at this place was amazing – always kind and with a smile. The cleanliness was top-notch, easily one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed at. Perfect for families and travelers alike. Highly recommended.

We came and camped for 3 nights over the New Years period. The facilities were fantastic. So much space to enjoy. Great pools. Hot showers. Location excellent for Waitomo tours. Would stay here longer.

Well placed for the activities in the area. There were a couple of different places to eat nearby which were cheery and packed with kind locals. The park is also very child-friendly, with heaps for kids to do. I would add an extra star if I could for the Happy Hooves mini-farm attached to the grounds which has all sorts of friendly animals. Each animal I saw came up for pats!!! If you’re going to visit, make sure to bring $5 in cash or your phone to pay electronically.

Great spot to stay beautiful showers and facilities. Watch the stars in the night sky. Grab a bottle of wine across the road or get a meal. There is a restaurant I think on site we didn't get that far. Pool was excellent lovely temperature. Super close to lots of tourist sites eg the caves.

Great location for visiting the caves and surrounding area. The campground itself was also very good with nice and clean facilities. The pool and hot top was perfect and great for both kids and adults.
