Waitomo TOP 10 Holiday Park

It's great value and worth it. Can't complain or go wrong when the reception was very friendly and the whole place is kept very clean. All amenities like your toilets, showers are shared in one. Kitchen and laundry are communal. Across is a cafe and museum. Down the road is not far from Waitomo caves. Site is very pretty. I would recommend this place.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the owners of this camping. They were incredibly kind, helpful, and supportive. We had a problem with our own motorhome, and they went above and beyond to help us, making every possible effort to assist us. We are truly thankful for their support. The camping facilities are excellent. The bathrooms and kitchen are very well equipped, the parking area is great, and everything was extremely clean and well maintained. Everything worked perfectly, and we honestly have only positive things to say about this place. We have been treated very well throughout New Zealand, but the owners of this camping went far beyond anything we could have imagined. We are genuinely grateful for their kindness and care. We highly recommend this camping without any hesitation and wish the owners great success and prosperity in their business.

This is an excellent campground with top class amenities. By far some of the most friendly staff I have encountered camping within the north island. The campground is really well set up for kids and families with both the pool and playground being stand out hits. Wish we stayed longer.

We were on a non-powered tent site. Lovely spot. Well apportioned. Clientele generally like-minded, so polite and courteous. Facilities are excellent. Great showers, well organised kitchen and dining spaces, regularly and well cleaned. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Cabins look nice and were pretty much fully booked. I can see why.

Fantastic holiday park. Great location, lovely friendly staff & well priced compared to many Top 10 parks. Had to wait a little while for a shower but facilities were super. Swimming pool & hot tub was an extra bonus. Would highly recommend. Lovely restaurant next door & cafe over the road.

We arrived to check in early just as the receptionist was going off to lunch. It didn't phase her one bit as she signed us in. The grounds were immaculate, view to the bush across the paddocks stunning. The swimming pool was a bonus, they also have a spa pool right next to the pool, and a playground. Goats to feed on a paddock next door that the children thoroughly enjoyed. We did a bushwalk for 1 and 1/2 hours that takes you up the top of the hill to look back at Waitomo. Stunning views. The walk is not for the faint hearted.There was a family with 3 young children who just had such an amazing time. Amenities veryclean and tidy. Bonus for me was having my very sentimental watch found and handed in by Danielle the receptionist after I had left it at the pool. Thank you so much!! I thought it was gone for good. Hubby thinks the Wifi is a bit in and out but it might have been his phone, lol

It's a very good holiday park. Neat and clean. Has a large kitchen with plenty of sinks and bench space, and it has a few tables in the kitchen and outdoors as well. They supply dishwasher liquid and sponges. Good pool and trampoline for the kids. Giant chess and a playground too. Bathroom facilities are nothing fancy but very neat and clean and everything in very good order. You can tell it's well taken care of. I'd stay here again definitely and recommend to everyone.

Stayed three nights in a two bedroom unit. Great view of trees and green fields. The unit is old but comfortable, plenty of space. The general store and the museum are just across the road. Wifi wasn’t great inside (good out on the deck), but mostly affected by the rain. I would stay there again.
