I'll admit I'm being a little generous with my review but I found this place so convenient, welcoming, and comfortable. The host made such a genuine effort to make us comfortable, asking about the breakfast options or if we needed anything, and he genuinely seemed to enjoy chatting and it just felt like more of an experience than staying at the Best Western or whatever.||I was a little early for check in and wasn't sure which door to enter so I called the hotel and the phone picked up immediately. Someone friendly immediately picked up the phone and told me where to go. When I checked in I was given a tour of the whole place. There's a rec room with a fireplace and table shuffleboard and couches, several cozy reading areas, and several rooms with tables and chairs. ||Our room was very nice, spacious, and sunny. I found it a quiet place to sleep. It took a little time to heat up when we arrived. Mornings were the best time to shower, we couldn't get the hot water going in the evenings and it took a while to heat up anytime. Another slightly off note was that the entrance smelled like a skunk, I'm going to assume that was a fluke and that they cleared that up after we left.||I have never stayed at an inn before but I found this place really charming and it was convenient that there was a communal fridge, microwave, water, coffee, and tea at all times. Some of the breakfast items like breads and fruit and juice were out all day so I think you could have had them whenever you wanted, which helped with the comfortable and generous vibe of the place. We brought in chinese food one night from a good (even by NYC standards) takeout place nearby and ate at the tables and then saved our leftovers in the fridge. This would be a great place to book with friends and then hang out in the common areas at night.||10 minutes to the slopes.
