Nestled along Jalan TB Simatupang, Wajan Sunda offers a delightful culinary journey through the diverse flavors of Indonesia.
The food at Wajan Sunda deserves special mention. The menu boasts an array of traditional Indonesian dishes, each bursting with authentic flavors. From the sop buntut to the spicy nasi goreng, the food captures the essence of Indonesia on a plate. The taste is good.
However, one drawback that I noticed was the portion size. While the flavors were undeniably delicious, the portions were somewhat small for the price. As a hearty eater, I found myself wanting a bit more after each dish. For those with bigger appetites or sharing meals, this might be something to consider.
The restaurant's ambiance and layout contribute to a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for a family lunch or dinner. The waiters were prompt and reasonably attentive.
On the downside, parking can be quite challenging, especially during peak hours. The limited parking space might require some patience to wait, or creativity to find a spot nearby. However, once you step inside the restaurant, the charming ambiance and flavorsome dishes will surely make up for any initial inconvenience.
Wajan Sunda is a thumbs up, especially for group dining. The food is good, though the portion sizes might leave some diners desiring more. The restaurant's warm ambiance and family-friendly layout make it an excellent choice for gatherings and casual meals. Wajan Sunda is definitely worth a visit, just be prepared for the parking challenge during peak hours.
