Last breakfast of Singapore happened in our case to find itself on the itinerary on the day when exploring Kampong Glam was the first order of business, so sitting at walking distance from Arab street and haji lane was this brunch place with a catchy name that ChatGPT and Gemini both converged their recommendations on and hence we decide to give it a try. This place had a hearty looking brunch menu which suited us just fine as we needed to juice up before taking in the sights on the last day. We went with 1. Tater tots -- they were crispy , albeit fairly oily and with a generous dose of honey at the bottom of the bowl they were served in 2. Eggs on toast -- you can get this a bunch of ways in their menu with choices off egg and toast styles, we went with scrambed with brioche with a side of tomato relish. Excellent, no complaints! The brioche toasts were perfect! 3. Spicy baked eggs -- tasted like a cousin of the shakshuka but with a more Egyptian take I guess... Lots of dukkah and paprika in it, yum! Served with sour dough 4. And we went with their buttermilk pancakes doused generously in a mix berry compote. Very fluffy and airy pancakes, not too sweet, rounded of the meal perfectly We also got ourselves a flat white and a latte with this which was very well made too! Service was timely, professional. We sat outside since we wanted to take in the sun a little but the cafe decor indoors also was attractive. Recommended for a hearty food stop in the Kampong Glam area. No complaints at all except perhaps the oiliness of the tater tots!

Made a reservation given that's what was recommended ad ordered a tomato soup, chicken waffle, crab pasta and 2 cups of cappuccino. I did not take a liking to the soup even though it tasted traditional like there's no cream and it is loaded with spices. The waffles are light and sweet with cinnamon and the chicken is fried well, crispy and goes well with the sweet waffles. Pasta is nice ad the soft shell crab is a big one. The overall experience is enhanced by a cup of good coffee. A totally great cill out place for a lazy Sunday.

Nice cafe hidden in the Concourse with high ceiling and minimalistic decor. There is outdoor seating where you can bring your pets. We had the Honey Chili Butter Fried Chicken Waffles and Smashed Avocado with added Smoked Salmon. The food were good and the service staff were very friendly and attentive

Pet friendly ✅ Excellent server ✅ Variety of food ✅ Quality of food ✅ From the pet-friendly environment to the exceptionally warm service, this place truly impressed. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious options — so much so that choosing what to eat was the hardest part! The staff were wonderfully patient and encouraged us to relax and enjoy ourselves, without ever rushing us even after we’d finished our meal. A genuinely delightful experience. Will be back!!

NEW FAV BREKKIE SPOT Went to Wakey Wakey for brunch and I was honestly surprised by how good the food was. The fried chicken burger was super juicy and the sauce was spot on not too heavy but flavourful enough to make every bite satisfying. The curly fries on the side were crispy and addictive. Also tried the grilled sandwich, which was perfectly toasted with gooey cheese inside. Proper comfort food. The coffee was great too smooth and strong without being bitter. Could definitely come back just for that alone. Overall, really cosy spot with solid food and good vibes. Will definitely return.Very friendly folks, checked with us if the coffee was good.From the image you can tell i loved it and finished it even before the meals arrived

Wakey Wakey Cafe is a hidden gem that’s definitely worth the visit. The food here is impressive – the pulled pork burger was juicy and flavourful, and the tater tots were perfectly crispy and addictive. I also tried the ham and cheese toast, which was simple yet satisfying, and the roasted cauliflower was a pleasant surprise – well-seasoned and nicely charred. The grain bowls were very decent too and super generous portions! Service was another highlight. The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. Our food arrived within 10 minutes and very fresh, which is pretty rare for a cafe this popular I guess. Prices are reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes. Great spot for a casual brunch or chill catch-up or just for a solo quiet time for work/reading – I’ll definitely be back!

Food and service were both great! Favorites were the cheesesteak melt (unfortunately no photo) and their white magic coffee! Ordered their coffee more than five times and it never disappoint. They were always consistent with their coffee craft. Definitely a fave in our neighborhood.

Loved their Steak Sandwich and their Chili Soft Shell Crab Baked Egg! Steak sandwich is deliciously cheesy, with the steak, cheese and light vegetables coming together nicely in a strong savory flavor. The sauce accompanying the fries is fantastic too. Crab baked egg is tasty as well. The bread goes splendidly with the sauce. Unfortunately they tater tots were sub-par. Either they were made with stale oil or were left out for too long. Had a greasy mouth feel to it. I'd just stick to the mains here.

Great place to recharge and refresh after midday site-seeing near the Sultan mosque neighborhood. Outstanding range of coffee and delightful selection of stackable pastries. Highly recommended.

We came here for late breakfast/brunch. We got a table inside. We really like the atmosphere. The apple crumble waffles were excellent. Smashed avocado with poach egg and cheese melt all good.

Rating based on coffee dessert. Cute cafe next to my favorite pizza place. Espresso is phenomenal. The chocolate cake was super moist. Amazing. Perfect experience. No WiFi but the building has a public WiFi measuring at 9.70 mbps.

This has fantastic coffee (best in the area) and also extremely friendly staff I'm a regular here for coffee and occasionally indulge in a waffle which is also really good.

A great establishment for a fantastic and unique cup of coffee or a latte. I found out that the coffee beans are hand picked and roasted by Singapore's reigning barista champion! the food is very well done also. definitely several steps above your standard chain coffee shop. the decor is top notch, great natural light, chill atmosphere, and the staff is always friendly. highly recommended!

This is one of the best coffees in Singapore, a calm and relaxing atmosphere and delicious food all prepared with care. Once again, amazing coffee.
