The green sauce burger is GREAT. Tasteful, juicy, and pretty big. And for a good price (compared to other things on the menu). The cocktails are delicious!!!! Interior is a bit upscale but feel free to wear something casual. I really like this place. Highly recommend coming here!

Came from Singapore and chanced upon this gem of a place. It was a full house, and we hadn’t made a booking prior, so they sat us down at the bar while we waited for a table in the restaurant. Took a while, but the alcohol was great! We really appreciated it. Eventually, they got a really good seat for us, and helped us with the orders. The advice was perfect, and fed us all perfectly. Staff was super friendly, and food was SUPERB. Starter: Steamed fish salad Mains: Lamb cutlet and Steak Dessert: lemon gateau basque The food did take a while to come, but it was worth it!

Love everything about Walcot House. If I lived in Bath, this would be my go-to bar/restaurant. The combination of their menu, service and ambiance is unbeatable. Their lamb croquette is one of the best bites I had during my month-long trip to England. The truffle Parmesan fries and wild mushroom arancini are a great paring as starter bites; the fries were incredible—crisp on outside and fluffy inside; their beef tartare, whipped cod roe and chicken and ham hock pie were also memorable. I’d love to try everything on their extensive menu. The hostess/server Daisy is terrific and took time to chat about the food and even provided great tips for exploring Bath’s many trails. Can’t say enough good things about Walcot House.

Every time I come here I have the most incredible food. We are not local but my mum lives in Bath and we come to The Walcot every chance we have when visiting. We have been coming for years and it never disappoints. The venue is amazing and has a lovely atmosphere, the staff are incredibly friendly and the food is just incredible. All in all one of my favourite restaurants ever!

Really liked this place. We turned up for breakfast at 09:00 on a Monday where we enjoyed freshly baked pastries and yummy yoghurt, rhubarb compote and granola. Top notch!

Superb Sunday roast my children assured me. My hake was absolutely delicious, but I forgot to take a pic. And the birthday fudge was as delicious. The venue was stunning, staff lovely, food superb. All perfect and then a minibus arrived with 20 or so ‘patrons’.
