Found this little gem right next to Schönbrunn Palace and couldn’t be happier! The place was packed (always a good sign) but we lucked out with bar seats by the window - perfect for people-watching while we ate. The food looked so good I nearly took photos before digging in! That chicken sandwich? Just what I needed - hit the spot completely and kept me going all day with a proper smile on my face. Staff were lovely too - attentive without hovering, friendly without being over-the-top. Just right. Such a nice quiet spot despite being so central and easy to get to. If you’re in Vienna and feeling peckish, do yourself a favor and pop in here. Your taste buds will thank you! A proper hidden treasure that deserves all the love. 😋

We had a wonderful breakfast. Everything we ordered from the menu was really delicious. The service was exceptional. A little far from the city center but worth the trip. We made reservations in advance. We would definitely be happy to come back here and recommend everyone to come here.

Very cool ambiance, a great selection of dishes. You can enjoy a meal here or have a coffee break and a sweet treat :) They mixed up my matcha order, but they were very willing to fix it

Very nice food, vegan options available. Very busy but service was reasonably quick.

This is a very sweet café with lots of seating. The coffee is delicious and the food was very flavourful - the scrambled eggs were quite rubbery and overcooked but it didn't take away from the overall meal. The service was prompt and the staff are all so lovely.

Google
Horrible experience and service. Waited 40 minutes for two very simple dishes which can obviously be made within 5 minutes. Granola &. Fried egg k bacon taking 40 minutes ? Come on. The worst part is. NOT A WORD OF PRIOR NOTICE. They assume we have all day to wait for two very oily dish. NEVER IN NY LIFE WILL COME AGAIN . Thanks for the trauma.

I would say, this is the best brunch in Vienna. Cozy and comfortable atmosphere (clean and tidy), nice and well-trained staffs, delicious meals (you can feel how chef care about the food), great service 👍 Definitely will visit again!

My Wife and I were in Vienna for 5 days and found this gem of a place for breakfast . The staff were exceptionally friendly and even tho some days we couldn't get a reservation, they found a way to fit us in. The food was absolutely delicious and there's something there to suit everyone's taste. Their menu is in both German and English. It's best to make a reservation as it's a very popular spot and gets very busy but a visit is a must if your in this neck of the woods !!

Yelp
Been there today for breakfast. I couldn't believe my eyes.. As a local, I knew what this building looked like before - be happy if you don't! ;) What else to say? + Excellent food + Nice outdoor seating area in the "Schanigarten" + Friendly waiters + Food was á table shortly after ordering + Large Capp is really large. + Wooden, (imho appealing) design Pro tip: Consider to make reservation on weekend days for outdoor tables during the summer months! Thanks, guys - Great to have something nice and modern in the district! See you soon! :-)

Yelp
Seems like a cool place but the service is very grumpy. I'm told that the Viennese are just that way and not to mind.

Yelp
Found a gem! We were heading to our bookmarked spot when the sign said closed. I was already hangry so time to find breakfast quick. Did we get lucky! Just a few does down was this... or new destination while here. I had the avocado toast with poached eggs and Joe had the croissant. It was delicious and he said the cappuccino was also great. The service was wonderful with everyone checking on its as they passed by. I have a feeling we will be back in the next couple of days. Enjoy!

Yelp
We walked in without reservations for a Saturday brunch, and luckily snagged a spot at the bar. I ordered the shakshuka and was only disappointed when the meal ended. The plate came with delicious sesame bread, a serving of fresh vegetables tossed in olive oil, fresh feta cheese and a non-spicy harissa like spread, hummus, yogurt with walnuts and honey, and of course shakshuka. I would definitely go there again when in Vienna next.

Yelp
Came to the "W" café for a quick lite breakfast and coffee. It is a little off the beaten path on a side street around the corner from Schloss Schönbrunn. The service was good and the food excellent. The problem I had was the bill. Each and every single item you request from water to condiments such as butter and fruit spreads are separately charged. The prices are fairly steep for what they offer (Euro conversion to dollars): Croissant = $2.35 Fruit spread = $1.76 Honey (sugar substitute for coffee) = $1.18 Lemon slice (for still water) = $0.59 Cappuccino = $4.95 Green tea = $3.30 Avocado toast w/poached eggs = $9.40 The workers asked us how we discovered their restaurant... and even though it was delicious and the service good, we chose an alternate early morning eatery for the remainder of our stay.

Yelp
I loved this place. So. Much. I must have eaten breakfast here four times during our visit, and then I came home and tried to recreate their idea of breakfast--which is so much better than whatever mine was. Avocado toast with lots of garlic and lemon in the avocado and nice crunchy bread; creamy yogurt two ways: one with all kinds of fresh fruits and some oatmeal, the other in a mason jar topped with local honey and walnuts; soft boiled eggs in mason jars with olive oil and chives. The coffee was also really, really good. You can go sit here and work on your laptop or read and they will leave you in peace and not try to get you to order anything else. The patio is nice on a sunny day, with umbrellas. It's on a quiet street off the beaten path, so as far as I could tell we were the only tourists there during any of our trips. But they do have an English menu, which they will bring you if you ask nicely. :)
