Waldhotel Fletschhorn - Panoramic Retreat in Saas Fee

We had an amazing summer weekend at this hotel. Everything was spotless, and all the staff were extremely kind and welcoming. The breakfast was incredibly delicious and the dinner portions were generous and tasty. Our big room with a balcony was calm and comfortable, perfect for relaxing. Taxis were always available to take us anywhere, and the drivers were so friendly and even showed us around. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we can’t wait to come back!

Great stay! The hospitality from the entire staff, combined with the peaceful forest setting away from the city, makes this the perfect getaway to relax and enjoy the views. I especially appreciated Filipe, who welcomes you with a warm smile and instantly makes you feel at home with his kindness, humor, and friendly nature. Highly recommended! Breakfast is made to order, which not only ensures great quality but also helps reduce food waste.

We stayed in Saas Fee for two nights as part of a trip around Europe, which took us from the UK to housesitting at a friend in Genoa.||The Waldhotel Fletschhorn was an undoubted highlight of the trip||The setting is just stunning. Saas Fee itself was a revelation, with the glacier looming above it, but the journey to the hotel, in the little electric buggy with it’s very friendly Italian driver, was an amazing further introduction for ourselves and our children.||The staff at the hotel could not have been friendlier throughout our stay, showing a personal interest (our son received exam results while we were there for example) . ||The food was magnificent. We ate in the restaurant one night and had breakfast both days. It’s not cheap (this is an exclusive part of Switzerland after all) but it was pretty sensational. ||The free access to the ski lifts, which comes as part of the hotel price during the summer, was a very pleasant surprise. We took full advantage. ||All in all we would fully recommend the hotel both as a romantic getaway but also as a place for (well behaved) children.

We have stayed at Waldhotel Fletschhorn, me and my wife, for 5 days and it was a beautiful experience ! The whole team of the Hotel ( Anna, Alina, Philip, Federico, Kevin and the rest of the staff) were extremely friendly and they made us feel as visiting|some old friends or family members ! The quality of their restaurant is also very good. Anna, the manager of the Hotel, is doing an excellent job ! We hope to visit them again soon !

My partner and I stayed at Fletschhorn for two nights and it was a really wonderful experience. Straight away we were welcomed with a coffee, which was followed by a scenic walk up to Hannig - Fletschhorn is a perfect base for walks in the area. The staff at Fletschhorn were all wonderful: we really enjoyed getting to know Felipe and Frederico on our shuttles into the town centre (another fantastic perk). In terms of the hotel, the beds were really comfortable, there were some incredible views from our balcony, and the breakfast and dinner were delicious. We even played a couple of games of Scrabble after the tasty evening meal! Thanks so much to Anna and team for hosting us, we can't wait to return!

We stayed in this charming forest hotel for two nights. It was clean and comfortable. It also had five-star service. The dinner was delicious, especially the breakfast which was cooked to order.

This hotel is truly amazing. It’s about a 15-minute walk from downtown Saas Fee, yet nestled in the middle of the forest, offering a perfect mix of convenience and nature. The property is exceptionally well maintained, and the staff is fantastic. A special shout-out to Felipe, our driver, who picked us up and dropped us off at the station. He was always smiling, incredibly friendly, and worked tirelessly. The only suggestion would be to add a shower partition in the bathroom. We stayed in a family room for four people, and the bathroom was almost completely open to the bedroom, which felt a bit awkward. Despite that, I would absolutely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful hotel in the forest. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the location in the forest makes it a special destination. Delicious food. Great Sauna. We enjoyed walking and exploring from the hotel. A relaxing place to spend a few nights.
