From the minute I called to inquire about this property, I was blown away by their customer service. Paula, Robert, and Mr Carl were all exceptional. I literally booked because of their awesome service. When we arrived, I met all 3 whom I had spoken over the phone with earlier that day. They all made me feel like i was family. We were upgraded to a larger room with chilled wine waiting for us. The rooms were large, the bathroom was huge, the ceiling fan (dont find this anymore..bonus), comfortable beds and pillows. Across the from the beach. We had breakfast at the hotel the next morning, and it was delicious, and the service was excellent. There is a little market attached that sold delicious pastries and sandwiches along with alcoholic drinks. |You can not beat the location of this property. Loved everything about it! I normally don't like to stay at the same hotel twice BUT I would definitely come back to this one. Waldorf Tower staff...YOU GUYS ROCK!

Nice rooms but they need a good cleaning. Hallways and common areas are very dirty. Staff very helpful and right around all the nice restaurants and beach. Good breakfast and valet works good for parking. Complimentary coffee and water. I’d stay again

Pros: Location and friendly staff. The view from the rooms facing Ocean Dr. Is great. Cons: The walls between the rooms are paper thin and you/others can hear EVERYTHING. The windows don't open, you have to ask for a key from the reception to be able to open them and there's only one key in the hotel. It's a shame, because you cannot get any fresh air in the room. There's a lot of noise and bright lights from the bar restaurant downstairs. We didn't mind, but others may have trouble sleeping. The a/c in the common areas and rooms is at a very low temperature and you are freezing. Even if you turn it off in your own room, you're still freezing during the night because the cold is coming from the hallway. We brought it up with the reception several times but we were told the a/c is central and there's nothing they could do.

Great location on Ocean Drive. A 1930s gem brought up to modern standards with comfortable beds, bathrooms and air conditioning. Front of house staff - in particular Ruben - friendly and accomodating. Although our room directly overlooked Ocean Drive it was quiet and we were not disturbed by the hustle & bustle below. Perfect location to explore historic South Beach.

I normally don't leave reviews unless a place eithers blows me away or quite, the opposite, is shockingly bad. Let me start by saying that there is nothing inherently wrong with this hotel, but moreso why I am giving it one star.||||I booked a 3 night stay in a "King Room Ocean View" from November 29th checking out on December 2nd at this hotel. Total was $772 after taxes, so while not the most expensive hotel on South Beach, it was not cheap by any means. Not knowing what to expect, I tried to not set myself super high expectations, but I was expecting at the very least a King sized bed and an Ocean View. When my wife and I arrived we were informed we also had to pay a $119 dollar resort fee, which they charge everyone apparently, despite the fact that this is NOT a resort, it is an old building on a corner of Ocean Drive. Whatever, I was not happy about that but I was not going to let it ruin my trip, but mind you I have spent almost $900 now for just the room for the 3 nights.||||Once we got to the room, I was both shocked, angered, and disappointed to find out that not only was the bed a Queen sized bed, but the ocean was not visible from any of the four windows in the hotel. While you can see the beach from a couple of the windows, the main window has a giant palm tree blocking it, rendering it pretty useless. You can only see parts of the beach from some of the windows, but the ocean is behind a long and tall row of bushes, so you can't see it even if you stand up and walk to any of the windows. I am attaching pictures of the view from each window so you guys can see what I mean.||||Next huge negative was the fact that once the night came, the downstairs restaurant played loud music and made it really difficult to sleep. To make matters worse, right outside our windows the hotel turns on these colorful flickering lights at night, and even with the curtains completely closed they let in this light, making it incredibly difficult to fall asleep.||||Now not everything was bad about the hotel. The location, while not being an "Ocean View" room, is right on Ocean Drive in South Beach, which is a 3 min walk to the ocean. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, and bars nearby, and you are only about 10-15 min away from Downtown Miami if you go across the bridge. We also received two coupons for 30% off our meal if we ate at either the hotel or the cafe next to it. Places aren't cheap so the 30% comes in handy even if it's just for two meals. One other thing that is worth mentioning, is they have a 24 hour store right outside on the side of the hotel with everything from food to daily needs, so that was good.||||Despite the negatives we still enjoyed ourselves and spent a nice weekend in Miami; I just wish either the hotel was cheaper (because I honestly feel robbed for what we got, it was definitely not $900 worth) or at the very least they were transparent and didn't lie in their description. Stay at your own discretion, you are forewarned.

The rooms have the very basic essentials and have just enough room. Beach chairs and beach towels included. Location was perfect. Lobby needs to be updated.

Alvaro was a great receptionist. Rooms are clean and comfortable. I would consider setting up the central ac at a higher temp. Very close to Art Basel activities and venues. Rates are affordable too for this time of the year. I would defo stay here again.

Stayed here for a mini weekend staycation with my husband. Service is great! We had issues with our room but front desk personnel were very prompt and had amazing customer service. The restaurant at the hotel has great food and drinks. Our waiter Manuel was great throughout our entire stay, very attentive and friendly.

Yelp
I stayed here after the cruise and enjoyed it! Location is hectic so not for light sleepers! Clean rooms, although small. great staff! food and drinks in the restaurant good!

Yelp
I've been going to Miami for years and know that gratuity is automatically added. I've never seen a more deceitful and dishonest establishment as this one. 1.) You aren't provided with a paper printout of your check 2.) The server scrolls through the charged menu items on the screen of their handheld machine 3.) The server skips to a manual tip entry without letting you see the added service charge or tax, just a total and makes you enter a custom tip 4.) After entering your amount, you can see that the recommended additional tip percentage which is 2% - 7% since gratuity has already been added 5.) They claim they cannot go back and show you the bill again I was having a lovely trip and this experience really ruined it. I felt trapped and ripped off. When confronted, the server claimed that the mandatory gratuity is split amongst the entire staff. No customer should be tricked into a 40% tip this aggressively. I'm sure you get enough drunks that won't read an itemized bill and will fall for this, but you should provide a physical check for those who will realize they are being scammed. I am extremely upset and disappointed in Waldorf. Sober Americans beware.

Yelp
Let's start with 20% off total check offer. Greeters sold us on discount as menu offerings average and SOBE up charged.. which is expected down there.. Drinks $25, oversized glass full of mixer. Surf and Turf $60. Tail was size of a shrimp and nearly broke a crown. It was so hard. Fillet looked like a medallion! Should not have been more than 25 bucks! Coconut shrimp was excellent, husband's risotto was $25 and resembled uncle Ben's. The server was accommodating but did not take the 20% off, added almost 30% gratuity and an extra $20 on top of it. Needless to say a $100 check became almost $250! You are not given a copy of the check by the way. They flash a PDA the size of a small iPhone which you can barely see and then grab your credit card. Bottom line, if you want to eat there, avoid Collin/ocean Drive. Lincoln Road, much better, more authentic and less scammy... plan on contacting restaurant for proper credit or advise of chargeback.

Yelp
We stayed at the Waldorf Towers South Beach for one night. Our experience started with a red-eye flight and my partner had a speaking engagement the evening we checked in. The front desk staff was okay, not particularly friendly. Initially, we planned to stay for our entire trip, but the situation deteriorated once we got into the room. The hotel isn't very accessible, which wasn't an issue for us, but worth noting. The room we checked into was very small, something we overlooked. It was really only big enough for one person, or two if you only plan to sleep there. Unfortunately, the sheets appeared dirty with hair on the pillow and sheets. Given our time crunch, I decided to help by removing the sheets for the staff to replace. Unfortunately, the mattress underneath had numerous large stains and even a blood spot near the head of the bed, which was extremely gross and disappointing. Since the hotel was fully booked, they could only move us to a room on the first floor, where the mattress was only slightly less stained. Due to our time constraints with the speaking engagement, we agreed to stay in the other room offered for the night. The next day, we were hassled when we requested a refund for the room, but they eventually complied. Overall, the room and hotel were not very clean, although it is close to the beach if location is your priority. The online photos of the hotel are somewhat deceptive compared to the reality. I admit I have higher than average cleaning standards due to a bed bug experience as a child, but stained mattresses are unacceptable under any standard. We moved to a hotel down the street the next day, which provided a much better experience. On a positive note, the new owner or manager reached out to us after hearing about our situation. He was very kind, assured us that changes, including new mattresses, were in progress, and asked us to give the hotel another chance. He even drove me to the new hotel and helped with my luggage, which was very gentlemanly. I don't usually write negative reviews, but I felt it was important to share our experience to help others. I truly hope the promised changes are implemented because the hotel has a great location.

Yelp
Ate here while walking the strip one night. Tacos were very good and so were the drinks. The service was also great and the waiter brought us free tequila shots. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Worst customer service , I ordered the oysters and chicken , oysters were good. The chicken was overcooked , wasn't even able to cut it with the knife , when I asked the waiter , he acts clueless and tells so nothing can be done and this is how it is , didn't even have the courtesy to ask if I wanted it replaced , somehow when he agreed to replace , after sometime brings in the same chicken reheated , I came say it was the same chicken because I could see where I had made the cut to take a bite. They don't care about customer service because there is no one take these complaints

Yelp
BED BUGS!! Let Me start by saying I have never left a review before ,For any reason this will be my first After Staying one night with my wife we were assaulted by bed Bugs (bites everywhere )YES BED BUGS They refused to Refund any Money after showing pictures and Videos of the infestation I am Disgusted and very upset after seeing How the Hotel handled the situation. I would not Recommend Staying there because of the simple Risk of bringing bed bugs To you're Home

Hillari S.

Yelp
The location is excellent, and it can't really be beat. The staff was very nice. You get bottled water, use of beach towels and umbrellas, and discount at their restaurant (none of which we used). The bed was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the lighting is VERY bad in room 312, so don't stay there if you need to see yourself getting ready in the mirror. Also, if you plan to watch any TV in your room, you shouldn't stay in this hotel at all. They know it doesn't work and tell you that when you inquire. It was very disappointing since I felt sick and stayed in bed the whole 2 day stay. Honestly, the TV situation is inexcusable in this day and age. It was a 30" SUPER OLD TV with no menu or services, just a physical antenna taped to the window!!! Lol. The TV kept turning off or losing connection every five minutes. At the BARE MINIMUM, get smart TVs so people can log into their own Netflix accounts. Crazy. It is very inexpensive, so you get what you pay for.

Yelp
We stayed here in February for 3 nights and the location of the hotel was perfect! But we were a bit disappointed by the state of the hotel. The rooms and hallways were dark and the rug looked dirty and stained. The windows were dirty and sealed shut so we had no view even though we were directly across from the beach. The door to the bathroom was glass and scraped the floor at the bottom loudly. The restaurant at the hotel is Icon, and the hostesses for the restaurant blocked the entrance to the hotel so it was difficult getting our luggage unpacked and into the lobby. At one point, a hostess walking past actually dropped the door to the hotel closed on my husband, who had his hands full. The hotel gives a 30% discount on the food at Icon so we had a breakfast and dinner there which were excellent. I could eat the beef tacos all day! And the mixed drinks were huge and at Happy Hour, buy one, get one free. The outside seating at the restaurant was in the middle of everything happening on the strip, so we had a great time eating, drinking, and people (and car) watching! I don't think I would stay at the hotel again, but will definitely go back to the Icon restaurant!

Yelp
What a quaint place. So cute, modern and well appointed. The staff is great and the rooms are tiny but nice, clean and comfy. Parking was a crazy, busy, & trusting experience. We pulled up while double (or triple) parked -- it's hard to tell. Trusting because we ended up dropping our car off to a valet, not even knowing if we had the right guy for the right place! If you do decide to stay here though, just let it be known it's full of young people who are here to have a good party time. It was pretty quiet when we went to bed, but we were awoken at about 4 AM to some young boys screeching loudly in the hall: Don't! Luckily it did stop. There is no breakfast served here. There is no coffee in the room. However, there is a small fridge and two free waters. Furthermore in the lobby, there is espresso and coffee for sale at a reasonable price. And on the street just outside the front door are plenty of restaurants with sidewalks with seating for breakfast, lunch and dinner (And Drinks!). For what's available on the drive, it's cozy. It is also pricey. And once again, just know you are in the party district. So not much more to say except it's up to wherever you want!

Yelp
I love the location of the hotel. The reception staff was great and very helpful. Can't wait to Do back to Miami. I will definitely stay there again

Yelp
The pictures do this place sooo much justice! We were deceived by them. The check in was nice . We paid way more then we should have. We reserved an ocean view and was told it was the better room- we saw trees and maybe the ocean in the background when the wind blew. When we walked in the room it was musty, foggy windows. The bed was low . Bathroom was well stocked. The shower head didn't work and there's some mold in the corners. We did have some snacks and drinks-which helped our disappointment. Please know that this location IS loud! I think no matter where you are , you hear loud people , loud music plus the walls are thin and you can hear you neighbors. There are less expensive hotels on this strip for what we got- but also way nicer ones for the same price we paid - we will not come back to this place

Tee J.

Yelp
I'm so happy I discovered this hotel. My room was very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. The location is amazing, we were directly across the street from the beach. The hotel restaurant gives you 20% off your food. I suggest getting guacamole and chips. I will say the elevator is small and creepy. And I wish they had a ramp or someone to help get luggage into the hotel.

Patty A.

Yelp
Food is amazing , had the spicy Huevos Rancheros on ocean with view, what else can you ask for ?

Igor M.

Yelp
Jair at the restaurant is amazing! such warm and wonderful service, great coffee and excellent food. I come back specifically for him and he is an amazing part of the hotel. Couldn't ask for friendlier, nicer service! Thank you Jair!!!! Igor

Yelp
I stayed over on a Friday night . I loved the hotel . Updated looking real Chic and the staff was very nice and helpful . Eric Jimenez helped me with my check in and he was very hospitable . The hotel is across from the ocean and steps from all the bars , restaurants . I enjoyed even hanging out at the restaurant on the porch of the hotel . Cool Lounge music and tasty drinks . Definitely recommend this hotel. Clean , updated and great staff .

Yelp
Loved this hotel! The room very comfortable and everything was spotless. They are located at ocean drive and have an amazing view and location if you are thinking about going out at night. The staff was very kind and helpful accommodating us. The food was very tasty. Overall a great experience. Is hard to find a good hotel nowadays. Totally recommend this one!

Yelp
This hotel is the perfect location for those who want to experience the nightlife & beach life in South Beach Miami. It is located in the heart of all the clubs and bars (Mango's Tropical Cafe is right next door!) Just across the street is the beach, an outdoor "muscle gym" facility, and CitiBike rentals. There is a 24 hour convenience store next door for all your snacking and traveling needs. I stayed in the standard King Bed room. It was cozy but small. Perfect for me, since I preferred to spend most of my time in Miami outside the hotel room. The amenities in the room were good. The shower was clean with nice water pressure. There is also a small refrigerator. There was no microwave in my room. Each room also comes with free beach towels (pick up at the front desk) and a beach chair (pick up from a partner company on the beach). The partnering restaurant, Icons, was fantastic. They served traditional American-style food. I do recommend the Chips and Guacamole with their 2 for 1 drink specials. The hotel also gives a voucher for breakfast, which I chose the pancakes with coffee. The service was impeccable. Everyone there was so friendly and helpful. With all that being said, this location is noisy with a lot of surrounding outdoor action. Exactly what I was looking for...but if you are looking for a peaceful trip, then this place might not be ideal. There is a lot of energy from the people in this area. And yes, you can hear them in the hallways if they are being loud. Other than that, inside my room, the noise levels were what you would expect in a bustling urban area. Despite all that, I slept well every night. I really enjoyed my stay here at Room Mate Waldorf. Highly recommended!

Nadia A.

Yelp
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Warldoff.... the greeting from the frony desk was awesome and friendly. The restaurant might be the most popular place to eat on the strip... it was always full with people.... not from the hotel. We had a first floor room... which was clean ans straight to the point with modern furniture. I guess the only con was that it was more on the dark side because it was facing a building... next time I would definitely opt for a room that has natural day light entering. It was a perfect location.... dead smack on the strip next to everything from either the left to the right... Very good hotel!

Shiloh J.

Yelp
Such a great stay! The best part was hands down the staff. Whoever does the hiring for this location does an amazing job. Eric and Juan Carlos at the front desk were simply incredible-- so friendly and helpful. The restaurant they have out front has pretty good food too. Helpful points: -20% discount for lunch/dinner and a breakfast voucher with your stay (Ask for Milicia if she's still there. She's THE BEST) -towel, chair and umbrella rentals (on the house) -free WiFi -convenience store downstairs Some

Primo A.

Yelp
The hotel photographed great. In person not as much. The hotel were good and the team at the restaurant; Icon were great. The location was good but the accommodations not so much. The biggest kicker for the low review was the fact that we found ROACHES IN THE ROOM!!!! Aside from that the rooms were not very clean or maintained. There were huge hair balls around the room and the sheets weren't the cleanest. See photos that are stills from the video I took ...

Julia ..

Yelp
This restaurant is horrible. Service is terrible took like 45 minutes for us to get our food and i had ti remind the waitress like 3 times that we still hadnt gotten our food. Once it came it was cold and tasteless... overpriced and poor quality / service. I will never be back.

Jacqueline G.

Yelp
I love their concept of making us feel at home. It works good. We stayed there for one night. The location is perfect, get off the doors and you are in Ocean Drive right next to Mangoos bar (which is a fun place to grab drinks and dance). The room was clean and had a good set up. The bathroom had extra amenities for your convenience (love when they offer shower cap). I generally hate hotels shampoo but this one I loved it. Wabi Sabi? Don't remember what was it called but smelled so good! They gave us a free bottle of water and had the minibar with food (extra charge). Staff was great and lovely. Cons: We stayed in the first floor corner room in the alleyway. We woke up at 7am with trucks making SO MUCH noise in the alley. Probably other rooms don't have this problem tho. I didn't find extra blankets in the closet. My husband likes the to sleep in with the AC freezing and I like warm. I was so cold in the middle of the night and I didn't find anything to cover myself. They only had the sheets in the bed.

Rae L.

Yelp
Definitely not used to chicken quesadillas with brown meat and an overabundance of salt with the grills vegetables. I chose to take half home and was brought the grill cheese but all of my uneaten salsa, sour cream and sauce were tossed. When I asked for them. I was told they had no small containers. My friend's Paella was dry and very disappointing. Drinks were good! BOGO insures paying at least $18 for drinks. We will not return for food, maybe drinks instead!

Gladys A.

Yelp
I unfortunately stayed at the Waldorf Tower to celebrate a birthday but instead we found ourselves feeling unsafe, uncomfortable and highly disappointed with the choice to stay there. The room was sub-par in everything from cleanliness to presentation. The bed was stiff as the sheets. Accommodations were not worth the price paid. The people in the area were rude and disrespectful. A woman barked at me in the street as we made our way into the hotel. The hallways were filled with people screaming and slamming doors until 3 am. The music downstairs was blaring until 2 am. We actually contemplated leaving several times but that felt like a worse idea. It was honestly one of the worst stays in my life and ruined a birthday weekend. I understand that I have to pay for my poor choice in location and hotel. It was an awful experience and I am paying for an expensive mistake.

Kara D.

Yelp
Clean, quiet, and very helpful concierge staff... I will definitely be back on my next trip to Miami. This hotel is very conveniently located by the beach and a ton of shops and restaurants are within walking distance.

Isaiah R.

Yelp
We stayed at this hotel from 05/9 to 05/11. There's only one word to describe our experience; WOW!!! Firstly, we arrived on Wednesday nearly three-hours before check-in; of course our room wasn't ready. The hotel attendant, I believe his name was Claudio, was attentive, extremely courteous, and thoughtful. He invited us to leave our bags and spend some time at the beach or walking Ocean Dr. until our room became ready. We decided to head to the beach. Claudio provided towels and an umbrella for our time at the beach. We changed in the immaculately clean restrooms and headed to the beach. We were there at the beach only about 40 minutes until we received a phone call from Claudio telling us our room was ready. That's right, they worked rapidly to have our room prepared nearly two-hours before check-in time. We were overjoyed and impressed. The staff at this hotel was extremely warm and helpful. They were always eager to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The room itself was charming. The bed was extremely comfortable and they gave us two complimentary bottles of water and some candy. The room was a tad bit small but that's standard for hotels in this area. Overall, the room was perfect; clean, trendy, and inviting. The location of this hotel is AWESOME!! It's right across the street from the beach. It's smack dab in the middle of Ocean Drive. It's literally walking distance from the action at the Clevelander and Mango's, the shopping of Collins Ave, and the dining at Puerto Sagua Restaurant, The Front Porch Cafe, and 11th Street Diner. It can get a bit loud outside, but it's bearable. We stayed in room 103 and the noise wasn't too overwhelming. We were able to sleep soundly and without interruption. Ultimately, we LOVED this place. The staff really made the difference here. They are the secret sauce at this hotel. We will definitely stay here again in the future!!

Shaun M.

Yelp
The hotels location and atmosphere is great! The staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially Frank! 10/10

J Elizabeth M.

Yelp
Awful customer service. Refused to refund a cancellation made less than 12 hours ago. The guy on the phone was so rude.

Marlo P.

Yelp
Very nice hotel its cute and overlooked which I liked. It's right on the corner of everything and the staff is absolutely amazing. Probably the best customer service i've had at a hotel in Miami. A few cons tho: the elevator is super small, you can hear everyone closing there room door, the breakfast was basic but cost an arm and a leg I paid 40 for myself. When you check out they will try to hit you with the resort fee even though when you book through them they waive the fee so pay attention. Other than that I will definitely return. Oh and for 6 to 7 they serve champagne to the guest in the lobby!

Jennifer M.

Yelp
We stayed here overnight in January before leaving for a Cruise. Thankfully we only had to sleep there one night, because I couldn't have handled any more than that. The rooms were very modern and appealing to the eye, however, very small and no view whatsoever. We actually had a room with windows that were painted over so we couldn't see into the KITCHEN that was right behind us and kept us awake ALL night from not only the noise in the kitchen, but the blaring light that never got turned off. The kitchen noise died down sometime after 1 a.m. and started back up again first thing in the morning. It was a complete nightmare and my husband and I didn't get any sleep. They have a lot of nerve charging people full price $227.00 for this particular room! Not fair at all!! It should be a discounted room!! Also, the entrance to the hotel is very awkward and if you are carrying several pieces of luggage it's not very fun. You have to walk up a set of stairs between everyone sitting outside eating at the restaurant, there is no elevator on the lobby floor, you have to walk up the stairs to get to the elevator.. Very weird setup. Front desk was not helpful either. We will not be back.

Andrew L.

Yelp
We spent two days here recently and had a pretty good time. The hotel rooms were small-scale but nice, it had the feeling of an old school 1930s or so hotel. I have to say though that the parking was kind of expensive and a bit weird, seems like the same valet service works with many hotels on ocean drive. Not sure exactly where they park but it couldn't have been close as we were told we had to call 25 minutes ahead of time to get our car. I did also watch the valet peel out in my car from my hotel room and speed down ocean drive. Did not inspire confidence. One thing that was excellent however was the restaurant, we are there at some point both days and the food was some of the best we had in South beach. It was expensive as it was a hotel restaurant, but we enjoyed both our meals and our drinks. I did want to mention our meals as many of the reviews on trip advisor etc did not include info on the food available at the hotel.

Camille M.

Yelp
Giving this place one star is being generous. I was absolutely disgusted by the presentation of this hotel. Let me begin by explaining how you have to enter the hotel. We had to lug many heavy suitcases through the restaurant and up about 5 steps. We were helped by a nice man at the front desk and got our room keys. We then proceeded to our rooms (hallways smelt like dirty feet) for us to find that one of our 2 rooms was a dirty unmade room that looked like someone had just rolled out of bed. We got a new room. Aggravated at this point we were just hoping that we'd at least be happy with the rooms. During inspection The smell of mildew gave me a headache. Grime filled the entire bathroom. It was filthy to say the least. Please refer to pictures. To top this off we went to exit via the out door exit which was apparently a fire exit. There we found piles of dirty linen completely blocking the stairs. This is an absolute fire hazard and this hotel should be reported. Our Miami Beach experience was completely ruined by this hotel.I will be sure to let anyone know how terrible this place is before even considering to book with them.

Raafat A.

Yelp
Great place to stay! Best location in Miami right in the middle of the party area in South Beach. We stayed here with my wife and had a great time! Thank you!

Jae L.

Yelp
first off, the location of this place could not be any better. it is right on ocean drive and dead smack in the middle to of ocean drive (9th st). you go outside and the beach is literally across the street. the service is really great; I was taken care of with everything I needed at all times. when I got to the place early, they did their best to accommodate my friend and I by trying to clean the available rooms asap. while we waited, we even got a free champagne on the house; how great is that. the rooms are a bit on the smaller side but, it has all the essentials. I got the king size bed so it was the main thing that was taking most of the room. they give you free water but they have water you can refill at the bar downstairs. the shower is pretty decent; the only thing I found which could use improvement is the water pressure in the shower and toilets but, it is what it is. they do give you free beach towel, umbrella, and chairs are in the room. it's not the greatest but I would use it instead of borrowing from the beach (a chair and umbrellas are 20 dollars each...) I saw other reviews about their sloppy services and stuff; I didn't have any problems on my side. I would highly recommend this place.

Yelp
Stayed here like 3x now. What a nice hotel! First time I found it on a great deal AND since they have king beds (I'm tall) I booked it. I only book king bed rooms actually, its a must for me. Anyhow, I was happy with this hotels staff, bar, service, style, and amenities. Very on point and they pay attention to detail. They are happy to check bags, give beach towels, or even chairs. They have even let us check out late once. Since our first visit we came and got the corner suite on the top floor for my wife's birthday weekend and most recently stayed before a cruise.

Yelp
My husband and I were able to check into the hotel early after getting off the cruise ship at 730 am, because of a free room. It is a lovely art deco style place in South Beach. The clerk Eric, was so sweet and so helpful he also arranged an Everglades tour for us. All the staff here were the examples of perfection when it came to thier guests and there needs. When we return to South Beach we will be staying in this hotel. I would recommend to you all, if you get a chance to come here to the area. Stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was large and beautifully done. All in All. Come, stay and enjoy yourselves at the Waldorf Towers.

Yelp
This hotel is really bad. Front desk stuff can not handle anything. They are so unprofessional. The pictures of this hotel look way better then the propriety truly is. The room smell vary bad too. Stay elsewhere.

Yelp
This is not the Miami Beach from yesteryear. The hotel in the atmosphere it's not something that you really want to engage in. A lot of ruckus into the early morning of the day and not a pleasant place to visit. The hotel rooms were about a 3.5 on a scale of five. The air condition did work and so did the fridge raider. The bed was decent so the hotel was OK

Yelp
3.5 stars The rooms are very nice, with modern and newer furniture. The bathrooms are very stylish. However, they are about half the size of a regular hotel room and most of the rooms don't have a view. That being said, if you stay here, you are right in the middle of everything on Ocean Drive. Most of the staff are also helpful. I received this hotel, as a Hotwire discounted "blind pick" for about $225 CAD / $160 USD per night (taxes included). One further note: it's not a good hotel for people with mobility issues (narrow hallways & small elevator) or families (street noise).

Yelp
Stayed here over st patty's weekend. It was the start of spring break so college kids galore. The hotel is in a prime location and the service is great. Our room was on the first floor in the corner somewhere and we could hear the kitchen and bus boys. It was annoying at times but we didn't spend much time in the room Would def book here again, as long as I don't stay on first floor ‍

Yelp
This was a wonderful hotel, the staff was amazing! It's literally right in front of the beach. The room was really clean. No complains and whenever we needed something the staff took care of it right away. We stayed here for one week and we wanted to rent a car and the staff was kind enough to get us a list of rental cars with the best deals. Everyday they cleaned our room and always had restock our towels and shampoo. The last night there we needs a wake up call at 4 am and Eric a staff member gave us a call, unfortunately we missed the call but he came up to our room to make sure we didn't miss our flight. If you're looking for a nice, comfortable Hotel near the beach this is your place to check out. I highly recommend it.

Yelp
I had a perfect night in this hotel. My skin care was thrown as a trash by a housekeeper. I thought it could never be back again. But Shan(Shen) which is a perfect woman help me to find them in the trash! It was full of garbage and very dirty, but she still help me to find them. It must be the best and responsible hotel I have ever been! Thanks to Shan(Shen) again! The beautiful lady!

Yelp
I would like to leave this review because this hotel deserves it, the staff is great, the room was extremely clean and neat, all the amenities and 10000% comfortable. I want to say thanks because my husband and I enjoyed it so much! We will see you again!

Yelp
My second time here. Great experience yet again. Central location, area is hectic so if you are looking for peace, this may not be for you. Very friendly and professional team, knows how to attend to guests. Small but clean and cute rooms. Will be back!

Yelp
Stayed at this hotel and by far the experience was the worst of all hotels I have stayed at. The bathrooms had mold in them and the walls were so thin that u can hear a pin drop on the floor. So if ur thinking about staying I would do more research on trying to find another hotel. Also they said the chairs and beach towels were just a block away from the hotel but it was more like a mile. By the time we got there the said the chairs are free but if you want an umbrella it's an extra $20 and the towels are not free. This was the oppositely what the hotel clerk said as we checked in. So again do more research. Hotel is over priced in my book.

Yelp
Loved my stay at the Waldorf Towers! Everything was very clean and hotel staff was very friendly. Only docked one star since the AC in our room broke several times, after some back and forth of asking the staff they did accommodate us with a new room and a stay in a separate room for one night which was nice, just took some time for the switch so had to go some time with no AC. Don't think it was intentional just think the staff may have forgotten the request. Hotel location is right in the middle of every thing fun to do in the city and the restaurant was great. Manager gave us free drinks as well on several occasions. This hotel is definitely not quiet but it's Miami! Would recommend this hotel!
