Walhalla Witchery Cafe & Magical Wares

Stopped by here on Saturday the 14th of September 2024, it was lovely and warm when we entered as it was so chilly outside. We were greeted by a very tall man who had a moustache and who made us feel very welcomed. I really like the vibe in this cafe. We ordered toasted sandwiches I saw on the board Ham Cheese & Tomato, I told him I couldn’t eat the ham n cheese and would it be alright if I could have tomato with onion only, he said yes we can do that for you, that’s no problem - I was amazed by that as normally you get told in other places they won’t do it. My husband had Chicken, with mayonnaise & salad, along with two hot drinks, hot choc and a long black coffee. The atmosphere was a delight in this cafe, and the layout was amazing, sparkling lights, witch dolls etc. More ppl were coming into the cafe and it filled up quickly. The service was brilliant, the toasties were a hit and the drinks were perfectly hot, it was a lovely lunch.

Very happy with our stop here! Popped in bang on open at 10am today and greeted immediately by the friendly owner and a lovely, warm ambience to take the edge off the super chilly morning. The fireplace was a welcome surprise. Beautiful twinkling lights everywhere and lots of little treasures to uncover. The coffee and hot chocolate were delicious and served hot, which I love. We had toasties (one GF and one normal) and they were wonderful, some of the nicest we have had. Quick and cheerful service and we waited for our takeaway order sitting on their comfy lounge. What more could you want! Thank you ☺️

Called in yesterday. Group of 5. We all agreed, best coffee we’d had in a long time. Toasted sandwiches were really full of love. Great food, lovely owners and wonderfully quirky atmosphere.

Friendly guy working, perfect oat milk to coffee ratio & flat lids for iced lattes!! what more could you ask for? 🫶🏻

Definitely love this sweet spot for lunch, was a weekday afternoon, nothing open but this cafe. Stoping here for lunch while we exploring the town. Sandwiches were great, delicious and generous chicken in it. Also have the half muffin, because the birds around here are know they are the only shop opening, they all gathered around just for food. Which we get attacked twice. Kind of fun experience but everyone beware ☺️

Such a shame. Wonderful place for a cafe. Cute theme and decorations. Obviously needs some business help. Would suggest hiring a trained barista and avoid using your children who are very unsuitable to work with the public. They were rude and unhelpful. Totally understand that there maybe a wait for coffee in a small town with only one cafe. However some communication would be nice. We witnessed one of the owners children slam the cafes open sign to closed while the cafe was full of people and then 5 minutes later turn it to open again. Very unprofessional. We waited over an hour and finally due to having a tour booked had to request a refund for our coffee.

Very cosy little cafe, wonderful service, good food and friendly people. It was nice to be able to have a nice hot drink in the cold weather
