Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux - Madison, AL (Outfield Drive)

This restaurant was suggested by two people during my travel to Huntsville, AL. Once by a person on my same flight and by the lady at the rental car counter so I said what the heck. Let’s go ahead and try something I can’t get at home! It happened to be happy hour so I got 6 wings for $6 and I had to order a seafood specialty since this was their shtick. Service was great. Wonderful southern hospitality. I really enjoyed my food. I would recommend this restaurant.

IMO, this location is a better location than the one in Clift’s Farm. The food is always good and it has a slightly quieter atmosphere. The Poboys are great! The red beans and rice, gumbo, gator bites are also standouts. Highly recommend!

Food came out quick, exactly the way I ordered it, and tasted perfect. My server was amazing. Attentive, informative, and pleasant would be the words to describe my server this evening. The atmosphere was family friendly sports bar. Hope that makes sense. I will be back.

The food here is excellent! And the service is always great! Tonight our server Faith was exceptionally friendly and helpful! She got all of our orders out to us quickly and accurately! If you haven't tried this place yet, you're missing out!

Was noisy, even though it was not crowded. Decent service in a relaxed sports bar. Grown up Grilled cheese was delicious, especially with that marinara; would definitely get that again. Waffle fries could be crisper. Shrimp and grits were meh. Grits texture felt like it was over ground and blended, flavor was also pretty neutral. It was better with the sweet chili sauce, but there wasn't enough sauce to save it. Shrimp were cooked and then fried? Not totally overdone but the shell was brittle and was hard to eat around.

We love Ktlyn at the bar, she is attentive and polite, best bartender. Always checking on you and refilling your drink. Makes a mean bloody Mary, ask for the pickle vodka. Great place to watch game and have drinks. Large selection of draft beers, Laid back, and the food is affordable and on point.

All of the food was fresh and delicious. Its a sports bar sure, but it definitely was a little louder then I expected. I could barely hear my waiter. Overall it was good food, in a nice sports bar setting.

The Boudain Balls, onion rings, redfish and catfish are all very very good! Had a long day? Get you a Death Valley.. enjoy!
