I've eaten here maybe twice before a few years ago, but I feel like they got better (aside from the price increase, of course). Food-wise: Let me just say the portion size of fries that I received for $5.49 was ridiculous. The food is delicious though. Everything came hot and cooked perfectly in my opinion-- well, except for the wings which weren't my favorite. My favorites were the cheeseburger sliders and the spinach artichoke dip. Both were so flavorful and hot when it reached the table. The cheese pull on the spinach dip was glorious. My hard raspberry lemonade hit the spot too! The wings just started to taste and look a little /too/ GMO. It wasn't too busy when we arrived around 5:00 and were immediately sat in a spacious booth (we definitely needed it). Tim, our server, was pretty nice and made sure we were good at all points. We didn't spend more than an hour and 30 minutes between arrival and departure so service was nicely paced in my opinion. We left happy with some delicious leftovers and plans to come back again to try something else on the menu. I recommend. -P.S. I really appreciate the change in uniform for the women, the old design made the atmosphere feel more... Hooters-esque. It may be slight, but I noticed the difference.

Mary took great care of us!! As someone who works in the service industry, I can be a tough critic when dining out. But Mary absolutely exceeded every expectation. She was attentive without hovering, intuitive without assumption, and genuinely funny without ever crossing the line into overfamiliarity. As for the food, I had a double bacon burger, my boyfriend had the buffalo chicken wrap, and my friends had the black jack chicken and hickory burger, it was all delicious. One of the best burgers I’ve had in awhile! I sincerely hope management knows what a gem they have with Mary, and keep serving up great food!

Myself & my partner had a great first time eating here. We had the PEPPER JACK BOUDIN for the appetizer they are delicious you get 6 of them & dipping sauce. I got the BLACKENED CHICKEN ALFREDO it was yummy but I would personally add more seasoning or flavor to the pasta. I would get it again. My partner got the CAJUNDILLAS they were delicious I will probably get those when we go back. We also go the DOUGHNUT BREAD PUDDING which was delicious as well. Overall I would highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in the area. Our server was also attentive & friendly.

The food was solid, but a bit overpriced. The portion sizes were meager in relation to what they charge. Since it’s a sports bar, the assumption is people will drink a bunch of alcohol and eat less food. There’s a good variety of entrees for pescatarians like myself. I liked the crawfish pasta with shrimp. The redfish tacos were succulent and well-made. The service was excellent all-around and everyone was friendly. This wouldn’t be an ideal place if you’re looking to get full on food alone, but it’s an amazing atmosphere during football and basketball season.

Food was good, we had Voodoo Shrimp and Grits, Boudin balls, Chicken Avocado Club and a Chicken Berry Pecan salad. All was good and we left full and satisfied.

I've been here a couple times and the food is really good. I had the gator appetizer and the chicken avocado club sandwich. The sandwich was big. I'll definitely be back when I'm in Tallahassee again.

I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant this past Saturday, July 26. Our bartender, Juliet, was absolutely phenomenal. Her attentiveness and professionalism stood out—she noticed when my soda was running low and was right on top of it seeing if I needed more. It’s rare to find that kind of proactive service these days, and it made a big impression. Kudos to the chef as well—the food was delicious and beautifully prepared. Altogether, a great evening thanks to an outstanding team. I’ll definitely be back!

As good as it gets when it comes to sports bars. I can imagine this place being bananas ona fall Saturday when the weather get nice and the garage doors open up Our waitress, Hannah, was great and had motion. Got a round of gator bites for the table and although most had never had them, they were enjoyed. I got the fish tacos with the mango salsa and it was delicious. I got the feeling that everything and anything you order is going to be good, not life changing but just really good.

Great spot for family happy hour! Hot tip: big portions of shrimp in the kids meals - not to miss if you have little shrimp eaters. All the food was good (salad was enormous!), drinks were tasty and a steal during HH and Dakota was super friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the rolling feed of fail videos - fun for the whole fam!

I have been to Walk-On's many times and have not had a bad meal or service. I am glad I captured pictures of my meals because it shows the array of items I have tried. From chicken to mahi, everything has been savory and well-seasoned. I am unsure how many menu items are available that could accommodate a more spice-sensitive palate, but I would say that most of them are not super spicy; they are just well-seasoned. They have a variety of cocktails that are tasty and unique. It is a great venue to watch games during football season as well because there are TVs everywhere. Like most sports bars, it is a bit noisy, so if you are looking for quiet and cozy, you may want to go elsewhere.

Big and diverse menu. Haven't found a dish that I have not enjoyed. Really good service. Great place to hangout with friends and enjoy a game.

Great service from our server Dakota! Loved the wings here - I tried the hot honey, Louisiana rub, and lemon pepper rub, all were very good. They have a nice happy hour before 6pm with $4 margaritas. Enjoyed the waffle cheese fries with banana peppers also. Seems like a great place to watch a game. Ambiance: fun sports bar.

Recently I went to visit my daughter in Tallahassee and we went out to eat at this location and received exceptional service! Our server was Jacklyn and she was the sweetest and most attentive server. Highest recommendation!!!

I would give Walk-On's a 2.5 rating based on both food and service -- Average at best. I don't understand Tallahassee diner's rating as they are all unusually high, but most restaurants with exception of relatively new Cafe de Martin, are for the most part "average", primarily due to their belonging to chain establishments.

The food was tasty and appropriate for a sports themed restaurant. The table was clean and the service prompt and friendly. The only criticism would be that the onion rings could use a heavier crispier batter like the one used on the mozzarella sticks.

Our server was patient and attentive. And the food was great. We are from out of town, and went there twice. Both times we really enjoyed it!

I was in on Friday afternoon, 6/13/25 at the Tallahassee location. I came in around 4pm. I asked the bartender if it was happy hour. She said it went until 6pm and poured my beer. She soon left at shift change, but the new bartender took care of me afterwards. When I got my tab around 7pm, my beers were not at happy hour prices. I asked some bar back about it, and he said they don't do happy hour on Friday, even though your bartender said they did. I said that they need to get their stories straight and that I will not come back. He said "I don't give a f##k" and walked away. Needless to say, this place's abysmal treatment has turned me off forever with this franchise. Zero stars for this idiot.

The Louisiana themed bar and grill is a unique concept, and we were quite pleased with our experience here. We started with the mozzarella logs, which were fantastic, but how can you go wrong with fried mozzarella? I got the cali chicken wrap for my entree and was very pleased with it. The highlight of my meal though had to be the waffle fries. They were some of the best I've ever had! Crisped perfectly and the seasoning was delicious. My husband got the Hickory burger and liked it a lot. His one minor criticism was the onion rings were a little over seasoned, but that was more of a personal preference. Portion sizes were generous and prices were reasonable - always pluses. Service was efficient, we did not feel like we waited super long for anything, and our drinks were refilled in a timely manner, which I always appreciate. The only unfortunate thing about our experience was we did not save room for the delicious sounding desserts, so we'll have to learn from our mistakes for next time. Look forward to returning!

This was our second time eating here and it was a good experience. We were seated immediately and had a server see us quickly. The drinks took a bit of time to be served. My hubs ordered the redfish which was just a tad bit over cooked as it was hard to cut. I ordered the lemon butter chicken. My chicken was delicious. Our server was great and very attentive. When he was busy another server would come by to make sure all was well. For dessert try the donut bread pudding it is unbelievably delicious!

Walk on is my go to restaurant for easy access and limited time. This Louisiana cuisine restaurant has thing that we need. It is classify as a sport bar because it has a lot of TV screen on every corner. It is not lack of TV. You can pick a screen you like for any games. We have the redfish Rudy. Redfish in Florida is drum and close family to sea trout. The texture of the meat is good. The fish is grilled and top with tomato salsa and corn. It is a bit spicy in Cajun way. Fish is fresh and very enjoyable. Service is slow in the beginning but pick up quick once the waiter engages. We were able to in and out of restaurants in 45 minutes.

Great choices of food and beverages. I got the shrimp and grits. My boyfriend got the buffalo chicken sandwich. The blackberry mule was delicious and the Death Valley was good if you like a citrus beverage. The grits was lukewarm/cool but the buffalo sandwich was tasty. Our waiter, Andy, treated us right! Such good service. Would come back again.

Abhorrent customer service for To Go orders. Stood there for 10 minutes with every waiter staring at the ground as they walked by to avoid eye contact and having to help me. Ended up getting my food 40 min after the pickup time.

When Walk-On's announced they were coming to Tallahassee I was intrigued. I had seen their signs in the dugouts at Alex Box Stadium when I occasionally watched an LSU baseball game on tv. I had read somewhere that Drew Brees was part of the ownership. Then I explored their menu on their website and thought their prices were high and there wasn't much on the menu. Figured I would stick to Glory Days Grill for my sports bar of choice. So over a year went by before my wife suggested we try them one day. We won't be waiting another year before we visit again. There may be a very good reason their menu is one page with drinks on the back. If you do a few things very well it is always better than if you have an extensive menu of mediocre food. We had the Lemon Butter Chicken and the Redfish Rudy and both were delicious and would be favorites for our next visit. Service was good and friendly. The restaurant is roomy with plenty of TVs as one would expect for a sports bar/restaurant. We look forward to our next visit.

I stop in this place every time I'm in town. The menu is quite extensive and the restaurant was quite clean. I like the burgers and shrimp but everything I've tried is delicious and always fresh. One of the few places where you can order in advance and they will bring your food to your car.

We are volunteers for Mims Demand action here for a conference. Christian and our server Emory was above and beyond. We had a large group and Emory was perfect. Christian was the best manager and made sure our group had a ball. I'm referring my grandson and friends from FSU. Thanks guys

Came here after the fsu football game to eat and watch some other games. They were very busy but we found some seats at the bar so we could sit right away. The bartenders were pretty good. Food and drinks came out fast. Drinks stayed full. There are a ton of TVs with every game on. Typical sports bar atmosphere. I had the wings with waffle fries. They were tasty. Nothing unique or anything but good. Queso and chips were the appetizer. Queso was good but the chips were stale. I assume I just got a bad batch and that they are normally fine. Overall I would recommend coming here to watch a game and hang out. Customers were friendly too. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures. Sorry lol

We tried this spot for the first time on a random Tuesday evening date night. The place had a decent amount of people there. There were three young female servers in short skirts, but they just starred warmly at me until I said "Table for 2, please," which I thought was a bit odd. I think Abby was our server. She was great, very sweet and attentive. We started with the Boom Boom shrimp which my hubby enjoyed, I just thought it was OK. Next our entrees: I had the blackened gator wrap which was delicious, I got it without the boudin and subbed Gouda for the Pepper Jack. I might try it with the boudin next time. I upgraded to a side of hush puppies since I heard they were more on the sweet side than savory. I definitely enjoyed them despite them being a bit over cooked. You get a good number as well for a $1 up charge. My husband had the tuna tacos which came with chips and queso. The dip was divine. Didn't try the tacos but I think the hubs was pleased. The speed of service was appropriate. We were too early for the late night happy hour that started at 9 pm which includes $2 off their signature drinks. They sounded tasty, but we passed on them. I did however order the bread pudding to go. I tried a spoonful while it was still hot before we walked out and it was sooo good! The glaze really sets it off so if your sweet tooth is tempting you, go with the bread pudding. You won't regret it! All in all had a pleasant first visit and wouldn't hesitate to return.

We enjoy the food. The service has been great. I love the Coconut blueberry mojito. Our 8 year old enjoys the game area and all the TVs.

Missing sauces. Ordered extras and got none. Takeout in Tallahassee is frustrating, people forget things left and right. I don't know what's going on, but it's like no one is paying attention. We all make mistakes, but come on. Focus, get it together, do your job.

Service wasn't good. The server never checked on us, and it was difficult to get his attention. Messed up on the drink order and blamed the bar. Also, charged a meal twice on the bill. Double check your bill before paying.

Recently went to this walk ons for the first time. The front of house manager Presley was so kind. The food was amazing! will definitely be coming back

Today is 03/04/25, I decided to come to the bar at Walk-On's right after work tonight. I got off at 10:02pm as a bartender in the area myself which put me there at about 10:07pm. When I walked in the building I was greeted by a host who had a nice presence. I immediately walked to the bar area knowing I wanted a quick beer and go on my way. As I walked into the bar area I noticed there were a decent amount of patrons at the bar and they were all men. I took a beat to ask myself if I really wanted to sit at a bar where I was the only guest who was a woman, and quickly decided it was fine I was just here for a quick beer. I sat down in an area where there were at least 3 seats between myself and a larger party that was on the corner of the bar. Right after I sat down a female bartender came out walking by me carrying a bunch of food for the gentlemen I sat a few seats down from. She asked if they needed anything and walked by me again to grab what they asked for, walked by me again to hand it to them. Then walked by me AGAIN to go continue cleaning whatever she was cleaning at the service bar. To make matters even worse, the younger kid who I gathered to be the closing bartender walked by me to ask if another guest needed another beer then pours the beer right in front of me and gives the beer to one of the guests who clearly had been there much longer than myself. These bartenders either one, didn't notice my presence, or two noticed my presence and ignored me. Either way I was not acknowledged what so ever. Though the time I was there was short, there is no excuse as to why two employees of the bar walked by me multiple times and did not acknowledge my presence. I began to feel that maybe if I was a male, things would have been different but also it doesn't surprise me why there aren't any woman coming to this bar. Walk-On's should be embarrassed by this. Your staff in Tallahassee need training in basic customer service, when I guest sits down at your bar you should at the very least acknowledge their presence within thirty seconds.

This was my 2nd time visiting. I ordered the Gator tail appetizer again. I love it! The breading is decent and the meat is excellent. The dipping sauce is ok, not my favorite though. For my entree I tried the Grown-up Grilled Cheese. I was impressed that there are 2 sandwiches. The flavor is just awesome. It comes with fries as a side and a bowl of marinara sauce to dip the sandwich in. The sauce is good, but I prefer tomato soup with my grilled cheese. The waffle fries are good and seasoned well. Service was some of the best I have had in some time. The waiter informed us the kitchen was backed up and suggested some items that could be expedited for appetizers. His attention to us was above par.

The food and service were good. The restaurant itself was nice. It could have been a 5 star review had it not been for the following event. The atmosphere was BAD! A very drunk man sitting at the bar with friends who were also drinking and they were encouraging him with drinks and shots of liquor. The bartenders were also encouraging him to drink and laughing at him for being so drunk. There were a lot of families with kids in the restaurant. He stumbled there the restaurant to use the restroom a couple of times. There were a few people that got up and left after seeing him sitting with his head down on the bar. It is pretty bar that they were giving him a bag in case he threw up at the bar or when he was finally lead out with two people. We ended up asking for to go boxes for our food because we had enough of the behavior with his friends and the bartenders. The man left right as we were leaving. This is not the behavior you want to see in a restaurant. That was all dive bar behavior!

The food is excellent- exceptional even, the grown- up grilled cheese is absolute perfection! And the boom boom shrimp tacos are so delicious. The atmosphere was family oriented, even sitting by the bar area the spacious seating made it comfortable. The service for the food was fast, however the waiter did take a while to get to refilling our drinks.

I came to this place for the first time from Virginia. Any place I go I get burgers and fries. My children got other items and my husband ordered the same as me burger and fries. He requested for the burgers to well done. My husband's last bite of the burger was not completely well done. Then all of a sudden I start itching from my neck down. I am allergic to shrimp. My children ordered shrimp. When my husband asked about it. They said they fry the shrimp, chicken and fries were all fried in the same oil. The employee has the nerve to tell me that I need to let them know that I am allergic. How dare you!!! How am I to know that you do that like I work in the kitchen. My husband was highly upset. Now I will be dealing with this reaction for the rest of my night. Do not!!! I repeat DON'T eat here!!! They are inconsiderate of the allergies of there customers..

Good bartenders/service, but they sometimes run out of their anchor beer Ghost In The Machine (my favorite of course). More importantly, the AC is not functioning well lately, and I'm told it's been out for a week or more, which is a cardinal sin in FL. To have the best experience that WalkOns has to offer, make sure the environment is suitable to your liking.

I would really like to give this place a better review, I have ordered here several times an it was great. I always get my food to go and take it back to my hotel to enjoy, but this time however not great at all. Tonight I strayed from my normal path, I always get the Mahi Mango, and it is always very good. This time I ordered the Tuna Taco's , they should be embarrassed to serve them. The tortillas are large and filled with tons of cabbage, then there were pieces of brown avocado and a thimble full of tuna. The total amount of tuna from both taco's wouldn't fill a tablespoon. Then they topped them off with invisible crispy wonton strips. If this is the norm for their tuna tacos, they should quit offering them.

The bacon cheese fries were great. I also ordered a plate that had broccoli, mashed potatoes, and grilled chicken. It was definitely flavorful. The burger was good and the beignets were hot and fresh. My reason for 3 stars was because the staff wasn't friendly or helpful. I also ordered the set of sliders that came with different types of mini sandwiches but they were old. They lacked flavor and we're not appealing at all. Hopefully I can have a better experience next time. I'll probably go to a different location.

Great location if staying in nearby hotels. The bar staff in not overly friendly but not too bad. I had the lemon butter chicken on my first visit with grits and it was an amazing dish. One of the best chicken dishes I've had in a long time! On my second visit I had the stuffed burger and it was okay. It tasted fine but it was hard to tell that it was actually stuffed with anything. The jacks and cokes were good and strong and made me glad that I walked from the hotel. Overall a very good experience but would try a different burger next time but will definitely have the lemon butter chicken again.

My God! This place was great! Atmosphere was owned (I came at 4pm on a Monday) and the food was good. I had the jumbo shrimp with fries and hush puppies. Hush puppies are the best! Customer service was on point and friendly! I'll be back. My bartender was Michael (Mike, u r the best!). He was excellent and very down to Earth. He helped me to narrow my meal down because I did feel a lil greedy. I'll be back! P.S- Them hush puppies are the best!!!!

Having been to another location near Tampa years ago, and my interest for a specific menu item I saw on their menu, I went there this week. I wanted the Cajundilla. I ordered it and a beverage and was noticed by (who I imagine was a kitchen manager) that they had just served the last order available. I looked at the menu and made a change. I asked them to make me a blackened chicken Po Boy. It's not on their menu but they have Po boys and also blackened chicken. IT WAS PERFECT. the bread, the fresh veggies on top. Just outstanding. Came with a cup of Jambalaya which was very good. Then they offered me to take an order of the Cajundillas home. Being a 6 hour ride I declined. They said the next batch was almost done and would I at least like to try it. I said one piece would be great. They brought two. Piping hot and to be honest as good if not better than I hoped. Five stars for food and service.

Second time here, but it's been a while. The menu seems updated in a good way. It was a Friday night and it was pretty busy, however we were able to snag two seats at the bar to order to go. The service was very friendly and accommodating. Having worked in the service industry I didn't want to overwhelm the kitchen with special requests but they happily accommodated! Pictured is the Black Jack Chicken Sandwich in a wrap with sweet potato fries. Great selection of beers on draft as well. I'll be back!

The Food is great and it doesn't take forever to get your food. You need to try the catfish, it is delicious.

I don't usually write reviews, but I had a great experience at walk ons so I felt obligated to. I really appreciated the welcoming atmosphere walk ons had to offer, the food and drinks were great, and our server Jackie was exceptional. She was super attentive, nice, and pretty funny as well.

Wtf....staff Locran amazing 10 out of 10 food 2 only got a rating because the beignets. I ordered the Crawfish sauce pasta with fried shrimp and a half order ribeye po boy. Absolutely no flavor in the pasta sauce and it was dry, the shrimp over salted. The ribeye po boy I would have given that a freaking 7.5 out of 10 but it dropped to a freaking 0 there was a long ass black hair in my freaking sandwich. Disgusting wtf.
