Walkers Arms Hotel

We were thrilled to find this venue on a walk exploring the local area. From the minute we entered we were greeted by friendly welcoming employees. The maître day bought out our entree and asked when we would like our main meal cooked. The food was cooked and served to perfection. If you live locally make sure you spoil yourself at least few months. The meals are good value. Thank you to all the staff 🤗🤗

We stayed here for 3 nights. It is an older style property and apart from a few minor maintenance issues we had a good stay. Bed was a little soft but quite comfy. Shower good aircon worked well. The water pipes from next door made a really loud noise when they used any water which was annoying but fortunately we were not awoken by it. Very convenient location.

We have been staying here for the last 3 days during to interstate move, the service staff have been 5 star at ever level. To ensuring that's our meals our out at a timely manner, to that they are tasty and we are happy above and beyond at every stage

Went for a quick lunch as we were passing through the area, found a spot to sit 2 of us outside as it was really quiet with only a few other tables around. Outside atmosphere was fantastic. Ordered a Chicken Parmi and a Blossom Chicken Salad, we asked how long the wait would be as we had somewhere to head to next, was informed of a 20min wait. After about 40 mins our food still hadn’t arrived so we went and spoke to some bar staff who were very polite and spoke to the kitchen. Was told we would have to wait 10 more minutes. 15 minutes later our food arrived, presentation was fantastic, especially the chicken salad and the parmi was a big serve, perfect because we were very hungry. The food tasted as good as it looked, if not better. Half way through my parmi I noticed a small piece of what appeared to be burnt baking paper, this didn’t bother either of us and did not impact the quality or taste of the meal in anyway, however we believed it would be important to notify staff before posting a review, lady at the bar was fantastic and handle the situation amazingly, she spoke with the kitchen and offered us a refund on the meal, however we turned this down as we didn’t see it necessary as the food was fantastic the way it was. Blossom salad was amazing and had great flavours, absolutely recommend, however a little bit of some mild spice, like green chilli flakes would be an awesome addition. Overall fantastic service, even better food, but we could see some improvement in getting our food out a little faster, however we acknowledge the hard work of the kitchen and bar staff and thank them for a great experience.

Had a great lunch here for a friend's birthday. The staff were nice and friendly, the pizza was fantastic. Dessert was amazing

Poor customer service from the guy behind the bar today (11/11 @ 2pm). Just plain rude and when gave feedback about a cocktail, didn’t stop defending himself until I had to walk away. I was simply telling him it was not very pleasant and there was no raspberry or lychee taste to it and that the lime was too overpowering and the rind wasn’t very nice in it. Two nights before we were there also and he didn’t give off any better vibe. Visiting the area but will definitely not go back.

Good location for easy access to Adelaide Hills. About 30 minute drive from there to Hahndorf. Rooms were clean and modern and spacious. Only issue was hot water cutting out when other guests were using it. Also there was no hot water on Sunday when most guests were checking out.

12 of us had lunch for my mother's 85th birthday today. The service was quick attentive and professional. Things like serving the kids meals first, and then serving the adults all together really makes a difference. They brought our cake out when asked and gave us everything we needed. Good food, reasonable prices, lots of indoor and outdoor seating options.
