Walmart Supercenter

Ever since the renovation, it is one of the nicest Walmart I ever been around Charlotte area. Some area is even similar to Target with the bedding display. Since Concord is a developing area so there are not a lot of thefts right now so there aren't locks everywhere like in Huntersville. So much easier to shop. Maybe I walk into the right time. Everything is stock and organized. They even sell non frozen seafood here. What a surprise

The store is super clean. Staff is always helpful, friendly and greets you with a big smile at the store entrance. Earlier I used to shop at Target. Now I prefer Walmart over target .

This walmart use to be up the street where big lots was at. Its really old store but they had reopen and change the store on 10/27/23 to represent their store #1027. Its really nice inside wish had they had more clearance items.

I will NEVER visit another Wal-Mart! I was in the freezer section and turned to get something and a teenage girl moved my cart without asking me or excusing herself. I told her not to move my cart. I guess she couldn't wait her turn. She started cursing me. Very vulgar language and the older lady that was with her said nothing. Your EMPLOYEES were right there and did nothing. I asked several employees for a manager and no one would call for a manager. I also felt in fear of what she might be capable of! Tried to call the store but no luck getting a manager. Plenty of other places to shop! When you don't feel safe and your employees won't step in and help out that's just uncalled for.

I usually order thru the app and have them bring out to my car. This is very convenient and wish this service was available when my kids were young.

today I visited the Walmart super center in Concord NC location 150 Concord Commons Pl SW. I was with my son and together we bought an air mattress and paper towels. We used self checkout. The paper towels were placed in a bag. Of course the air mattress box won’t fit in a bag. Upon exiting the store there was a white older man with a cart full of items most items bagged but two large items, 12 pack toilet tissue and a large pack of wine were not in bags. He didn’t get stopped by the Walmart employee (white in color). We were right behind the customer but what the employee does is chooses to stop my son (and we are walking side by side my son) as he had the air mattress box, and states I need to see your receipt. I proceed to say you didn’t stop the guy in front of us. The employee says he had bags. I let him know not all his items were bagged. If he was really paying close attention he should’ve seen he had two items not bagged. I’m tired of the profiling this process has become and it is a process that needs to stop. I will keep walking next time I will not stop to show my receipt. If stealing is such an issue Walmart should have not went to the stores being majority self checkout and actually have the employees scanning the items to then ensure each one is scanned. Then there wouldn’t need to be a concern checking receipts when customers are just ready to leave the store.

Not sure who needs to hear this. But maybe. Just maybe. If you are so worried if I paid for everything in all of my bags and spend 10 minutes checking ever last item. Maybe you shouldn't have self checkout? I get checking the large item not in a bag. But to go through all ten bags? Come on dude.

Always pretty fast and clean. There's one very grouchy older lady that always runs the cosmetic section. She's obviously not happy to be there, help you or have to do her job. She's pretty snappy and sadly has lost her smile , personality and customer service capabilities. That said , rest of staff I've dealt with pretty friendly. And it's a convenient place to add cash to your cash app card. Some sections are lacking in variety but for your basic Walmart needs, it does the job.

I frequent this Walmart. They have made several upgrades to this store. Certainly a lot more self checkouts - enough that you don't have to wait. They carry less options to choose from. If you are looking for dog biscuits for example, I had a choice between well regular biscuits. The grocery store carries more of a selection than Walmart...I didn't think I would ever have to say that. My experience this morning was the employees who are shopping for delivery or curbside were so obtrusive. They did not care if they were blocking the aisle. Not once did they say excuse me. I went to Walmart at 7 AM so it was not busy so these shoppers whole be cognizant of those that have come to the store to shop. I posted a few pictures in my frustration. The photos that I posted will tell the story. The customer has to go around them. No effort made to be courteous. I think customer service training is needed or maybe I just need to shop at another Walmart and hope it's better.

We needed help from the supervisor tonight on 02/27/25 around 615pm. An associate said we needed the supervisor and said he talked to the supervisor and they were in the back and would be there to help us in a few minutes. About 30 minutes of standing at the front the supervisor never came and we asked the associate what was going on and he said "sorry the supervisor is too busy to help you" Whoever the "Supervisor" is needs to be demoted to the greeter and stop blowing off customers. Calling corporate and heading to Target.

Horribly managed. Never ample cashiers. Employees block many of the aisles. It's just kinda baby school. And the prices are not cheap at all. Many are actually higher than comparable stores. This place needs to be managed properly

My initial needs were to get oil change & a couple of stationary items. I didn't t have an appointment for oil change but their staff were helpful to let me know if they could take me since they had a couple of appointments coming up in half an hour. A lady came in a few minutes said they would take care of my car. While waiting for the service, I cruised around to see if I could find my needs. Surprise to see this Supercenter was so clean and neat. With the store app, I was about to locate my needs. Lucky me! Then everything in the shop were so pleasant to look at. I love shopping at Walmart. Besides hard work of Walmart staff, customers also need to respect other customers who are just like me & others. Looking for a clean, healthy looking shop.

I took my car in for a simple oil change before a long drive - NC to CO. When I got to my destination I noticed a slight oil drip from under the car - where it never had a leak previously. After inspection I found the source of the leak was from around the oil pan bolt. It "looks" as if the oil pan bolt was tightened to the point that either the pan was cracked or threads stripped. And it also "looks" like some sealant was put on it to hide the damage. I called to see if they could offer some assistance with my local Walmart here in Highlands Ranch, CO. and even though the manger was was very nice about it, his solution was for me to bring the car back, to Concord, NC. Although it is a fairly simple repair, because of their poor performance, which could have killed my motor, I now have to spend more money and time to replace the pan and the oil.

Filling out my shop with a few things that that don't have at the other supermarket, I had a reasonable shop today. The store is crowded, considering the COVID precautions. A number of people were not wearing masks and there is no enforcement by the greeter who is only counting customers. Clothing, soft lines, home goods are all well stocked. A few low stock items in the grocery section and they did not have any of the cat litter that we prefer. Win some, lose some. Checkout was surprisingly good with enough registers open and no waiting. Three stars because they have recently renovated the store and it looks great! Looks better for sure and I see they've gotten lots of new things in, including new brands of clothing, without upping prices that much which is great!! They also got their cheap graphic tees back finally!!!! This makes me happy!!! Can't go over three stars though because it seems like every-time I go to this Walmart, the bathrooms are disgusting and terribly unkept. Not just that, but it also sometimes seems as if self-checkout lines are the only option as they do not have people working cash registers, maybe they have 2 or so at a time, but for how big this place is, there should be many more lines opened. Self checkout lines are great for a quick stop there where you're only grabbing a handful of things. When I am full-on grocery shopping, I don't want to be doing that myself if there are workers and staff there that can do it, since that's the way things used to be.

My review is about the pharmacy in particular. I had to change pharmacies because of multiple issues. The first time I was out of town and called to inform them due to my meds on backorder. She told me they would be waiting for me the next Monday. When I showed up the girl told me they didn't have it, then it changed to they had it but returned it because I didn't pick it up even though I was told it would be held, then it became that I picked up the medicine already and they would need to look at the cameras to make sure I didn't already pick it up. After that I went to the Walmart manager who seemed I bothered because they called me while speaking to her and said they found it in the fridge where it was the whole time. The manager was then like great so problem solved. No ma'am the problem is not solved because they just accused me of lying about picking up medicine that they had and overlooked. To make matters worse the lady said she thought to look in the fridge because she remembered seeing my name and birthdate a couple days before when she placed it there. Then when I had to get a refill the next time the people told me my doctor, who I spoke with about it, cancelled my prescription and they sent the medicine back. I told the lady on the phone that no my doctor did not cancel it why would she put me on medicine and then cancel it. After the first issue with them I told her I was done and would be switching pharmacies and she just kept telling me that I should speak to my doctor because it wasn't their fault but my doctors because she cancelled it. Like yeah I guess it wasn't your fault when the first fiasco happened either and it was sitting in your fridge. My advice is do not ever use this pharmacy they do not take any accountability when they mess up and will try and gaslight you into thinking it's your fault.

I'm not a big fan of shopping, so I use Walmart online ordering and pick up service; I have even used the service where they deliver groceries to your house and if it's over $35 delivery is free but they like you to tip the driver's. With Walmarts online ordering process if there's an item you ordered and it's not in stock they contact you and ask for your permission to substitute that item with another one similar with equal value or more, so it's a win-win situation. I with my online ordering I met two beautiful women cool very sweet, and friendly win they shop for customers and package the items in the car; The lady that brought my package to me was Shiloh and she's the sweetest person you ever wanna meet, she takes pride in shopping for customers and when she put your groceries in the car she will even take the time to repackage an item that may be broken or damaged in transit (ie; eggs, bread, butter). I wish there was a way to request the shopper we want to shop for us because I know Shylo or Mrs Kay would shop for me the same way I would shop for myself.

Worst one in the area its dirty the carts/ buggies are in bad shape it takes 3 to find a decent one.Some of the customer service people are mean and nasty try and avoid returning anything here,there was a nice friendly guy but sadly I think he's gone.It dirty the cashiers are nice my family calls this one the ghetto walmart I won't go there but it needs proving

The only reason I am giving this a 1 star, there was at least one person concerned with what I was needing or else I would have given 0 if I could. I stood at the formula section for 45 minutes. Pushed the stupid button about a hundred times and NOBODY came to get me the formula I needed for my baby. Only one person asked if I needed help, said she would go get someone that had keys. I stood there another 20 minutes waiting... with a Screaming baby. And of course NOBODY came. Multiple workers kept walking past me and just looked at me, nobody asked me if I needed help. You really need to do away with having to get an associate to get the formula. It is not efficient at all. The Walmart in Locust, still had it in shelves. Get back on their level.

Denver, NC Walmart is the best!! Clean store and friendly associates!! Only Auto Care Center around!! Too bad I live in Charlotte and can drive to it only once a month

Extremely rude staff for no reason. Politely asked them to price-match an item that is sold by Walmart cheaper on the app. Rudely refused to do so and told me I needed to read the fine print. However, it clearly states you can price match items sold by Walmart (not third party sellers) in-store. The associate then processed to shit talk me with another associate afterwards.

If there is one thing I must say about Walmart is they are a consistent shopping experience. Which is a nice way of saying, if you shopped at one Walmart... You have shopped at them all. There has yet to be a Walmart that wows me. The lines are usually so long and the merchandise is the same in every single store. Having said that, this Walmart now has self checkout lines. Which is pretty progressive step forward for them. This is the fastest I have ever gotten in and out of any Walmart and I do appreciate that. All in all, it simply is what it is... Walmart doesn't care much about customer service. Don't kid yourself. Have an issue with service, and you will see. If you want good service, good prices, decently treated, happy employees and a terrific shopping experience just go to Target.

I came up here 3 times to the auto center in the past week to get my oil change. Each time I came they said they are not doing oil changed (today) . When I called nobody wanted to answer the phone. As well as a lady being rude the 2nd time I came up there. I drove about 26mins each Time. I will be talking to the store mange

I jokingly call this location, "Dirty Walmart" and today it lived up to that name. What a mess! I gave it a 2 because the cashier was super nice. I didn't get her name. She was on terminal# SC011199 on 5/13/22.

Likely the 2nd worst Walmart I've ever seen. Most of the staff is rude and act like jerks to you for no reason. Such bad attitudes and when you ask for help, they act like you insulted them in the most offensive way. I don't expect to be treated like family, but at least have some decency.

The prices in the grocery area were at least 20 cents + more than the sticker on the shelf. One item was $2 more.

Concord used to be "The City of Concord." But now it feels just like Charlotte. The environment and employees at this location reflect that in the worst ways. The staff do not care nor pay any attention to the customers, and they are unhelpful 99% of the time. The store is filthy and disgusting. Most items remain in out of stock. Some items have been out of stock for two years. Management needs to step up and manage the store. To the employees who have been there 20+ years: Keep up the amazing work! Show management and the kids how it is done! All of you deserve praises and raises!!! If you are looking for a good, or even just an ok, shopping experience go somewhere else.

Drove 25 minutes to this Walmart because they're the only Walmart that carry the flavor of Gatorade that I like (cucumber lemon, not sorry about it). Arrived at 10:46 for a SINGLE Gatorade and was met by two women hollering at the door and someone in the parking lot telling us "they lock the doors at 10:45." Needless to say, I'm not willing to argue with two Walmart employees over a gatorade, so instead I wrote this review on the 25 minute drive home back.

Awful customer service! HUGE wait times, repeatedly, in Tire Lube Express. This week, they tried selling me a new tire, despite having the Road Hazard warranty. (Unethical) Wasted more than an hour of my time. Manager Rachel was obnoxiously rude, as was Charles. Neither understand customer service. Also out of the soda that I wanted to purchase. I am still waiting for store director Whitney to call me. Apparently, she doesn't care. Avoid this Walmart. It is a terrible place to shop.

I sat in pickup for 30 minutes and no one came out before it started pouring rain. Someone tried to give me someone else's stuff even. I won't be coming back here.

I understand this time of year it's very busy in a place such as Wal-mart, but what I don't understand or appreciate is when the associates working can't answer questions, don't try to look for a solution to help you, or continue what they are doing as if you aren't standing there. I was in the fabric department and needed a piece of fabric, but obviously it needed to be cut by an associate. So at first I waited 5-10 minutes hoping an associate would soon come to help. With no luck of anyone coming I sent my son to electronics to seek help. Well I heard over the loud speaker "a customer needs help in fabrics" surely he did his job and in no time someone would be right over to help. After waiting an additional 10 minutes no one ever came. Usually I would just leave without making the purchase but I really needed a piece of this fabric. So, I went back to customer service and asked to see a manager. Just as I get the word manager out of my mouth the manager walks up and says I'm the manager what's the problem. I explained to her that I waiting in fabrics for nearly 20 minutes, pushed the help button numerous times, and even got an associate to call for help but no one has come. Long story short no one was willing to help so the manager had no choice but to go and cut the fabric. Wal-mart, I'm highly disappointed in your customer service. All the departments in the store should have ample amount of coverage especially during this time of year.

Waited so long for nothing!!! I needed help for the craft side and I try asking like 3 people and they just call to the speaker and no one will still come in and help me. Tired of waiting that I walk out.

We got there to get some supplies and we asked an associate, of course he was listening to music. Didn't have a clue about what curtains were. But we just went with a different brand and checked out.

I placed an order and paid $18 to have it delivered today. During check out I said NO substitutes, however Walmart made substitutions. To make things worse- what they gave me was NOT even comparable! I ordered conditioner. Walmart thought it was OK to 'substitute' shampoo for CONDITIONER. Not only did I PAY $18 for this service- but now I have to go to the store and return the shampoo that I did not want/need and did not order!

The cashier was open with no customers in line! I approached and she told me she would not ring me up because another potential customer was looking for something in Walmart and the cashier was waiting for that person to find what they were looking for and return. I have never had a cashier be so lazy she would turn down a $200 sale!

This store gets a star for being clean but there is so much more to a store than cleanliness... the biggest problem I encountered on my visit to this store was the rude oddity of a health and beauty department manager. I overheard random noises and humming while on the aisle next to her but when I approached her to ask the location of an item, she continued to hum and never vocalized her answer but rudely made a pointing gesture. This is unacceptable customer service...

This Walmart is a nice one. We go about one a week to buy household items for the house or groceries. But I have found many of times, they are out of stock of a lot of stuff. There machines half of the time doesn't scan the coupons that you have for products that you bought . So I do find I'm better off just going Target or Another grocery store like Harris Teeter, at least the coupons will double there..;)

I ordered a pick up item and it was taking a little while. I understand that they are busy and so I just called to find out some information on what was going on and this women answered and she was absolutely rude. To top that off she hung up on me. All i said was hey i am picking up an order and i was just wondering if it was close to being done and she said you will get an email and hung up. If you are going to work in customer service then learn how to speak to people. I wasn't being rude I wasn't even mad or anything I was simply asking a question.

The worker there name kevin is very helpful and got me my order right away !!!! 5 Star for me , Kevin was a very nice young man!

Visited your auto center today. Only 1 happy cat in the bunch. People were backed up and some were complaining that after two hours of waiting they were told they didn't have tires for their vehicle. Your INSIDE store crew are some PERVS. You need to ensure you train your staff if verbal and NONVERBAL harassment. As much traffic as you all get in that store, I am more than positive you can afford it.

Apparently NC passed a new gun law and citizens now have the right to carry weapons in public spaces. In WalMart a man came in with his gun and management asked him to leave. He cited the law and reminded them if they don't have a sign up notifying customers no weapons are allowed, he can go wherever he wants. Why didn't Walmart know this law was now on the books? Why wouldn't they be prepared to either have a sign thwarting off a gunman in the toy department OR tell the rest of us to mind our business and respect the gun owners rights? Either way, I would expect the largest discount retailer in the world to be prepared to address the issue with policies ahead of time. The poor employees were nervous and so confused, including the elder cashier that initially reported the gunman. She was clearly shaken and upset. She told me she didn't know what to do, she thought maybe he was coming to shoot up the place. SMH

Being a woman isn't really an excuse because I know plenty of men who love to shop. There are people who love clothes shopping... gadget shopping... and grocery shopping. Those of you who fall under the last category "lovers of grocery shopping" are a twisted bunch, in my opinion. Especially if you do your grocery shopping at Super Walmart. If you take offense easily you should press on because the truth is sometimes a little backhanded and what I have to say about the crowds and about walmart is no joyful dissertation. For centuries bargain shoppers across America have flocked to this overpacked, understaffed bustling treasury of prepackaged processed food and jettison. With "Rollback Savings" as the slogan of middle-low class Myspace pages we've certainly given in to the consumer mentality they are banking on. I for one have been and will again shop at Wal mart. But for what it's worth there are a few "beefs" (no pun intended) that I have with this place. The first is the staff at my local supershack. WHY oh WHY are there so many people working in the craft department but never enough working at the deli? At the lowest point in my walmart shopping debacle I have waited TWENTY MINUTES for sliced meat. Simply for the fact that I wanted to see how long it would take for them to slice meat I wasted almost half an hour of my life. I will never get it back. This woman behind the counter dawning a freshly stretched hair net asked me "What can I get ya?" and I asked very politely for one half pound of thin sliced turkey. This request would be the death of me. My first mistake was not specifying the brand and genre of turkey I would like. "Do ya wanna have smoked, hickory smoked, honey baked, roasted, Jeannie-O, Sara Lee, Boar's Head..." OH. MY. GOSH. So I specified very clearly, "I would liked Roasted Jeannie-O turkey, sliced thin." And she looked at me like I'd asked for a deep fried mars bar. I repeated myself, again, making sure to pronunciate my words clearly and it finally seemed to seep in. So she goes over to the meat case and gets out the END CAP of a roasted turkey. Dread setting in to my mind now... She turns to me and says, "Hun, we're all outta roasted turkey by Jeannie-O can I getcha Sara Lee? But it's not on sale, you'd have to pay the full price." By now there is a line of angry huffing customers waiting for their super bargain deli meat and I am feeling the pressure. So I say, "Yes, yes that's fine I'll take whatever you've got." So she finally gets the meat out of the case after rewrapping her end cap of Jeannie-O and unwraps the Sara Lee and we're finally getting somewhere when she turns around and says, "Hun, what number do you want me to slice the turkey on?" All I can do to keep myself from screaming is say, "As thin as you can get it without actually shaving it." I can hear the woman behind me shaking her head and drumming her fingers on the cart handle. If the looks could kill I would be six feet under by now. So finally we're at the slicer and she has unwrapped the meat and all I can imagine now is that this woman is going to turn on the slicer and slice her fingers off and then some angry customer behind me will yell, "Look what you've done!" and kill me. But she gets slicing and seems to be doing well until I realise that she has started to shave the turkey. I decide this isn't a big deal and watch her finish up. I'm dreading the next question but I know it's coming... "Would you like something else, hun?" And the question that has been bouncing around in my mind.. Do I really need cheese...? Finally I decide that turkey without cheese is like peanut butter without jelly.. so I say, "Yes, one half pound of Stella Provolone Cheese." (I'm prepared with a brand name this time.) And it's like the entire line behind me is groaning and whispering about me. My palms are sweating now. Where are these people? Shouldn't there be more than one deli slicer person here? Are they all at lunch, what's the deal? So she gets my cheese and I'm thinking yes, this only took a few seconds and then she turns around and scratches her face with her gloved hand and I'm thinking.. oh crap. So she says, "Sorry I need to go get a new glove and the box is empty so I have to go in the back and get a new one." I'm practically shaking now. There is an angry mob of people behind me who just want a pound of roast beef and I am in the way of them getting it. I'm afraid for my life. So she comes out with her new glove, all smiles and chipperness and I'm about ready to reach across the counter and... So she gets the cheese and brings it to the slicer and starts slicing a piece and then she picks the piece up off the counter, turns around and announces, "IS THIS THIN ENOUGH?" Nice quick visit today. Found what I needed at both ends of the store, and was pleased to see all registers AND all self-check outs open. Through the line in record time! Yay!

When we walked in for help one of the employees was sagging and didn't help us find anything and was rude. He called the manger and she was rude as well and very unprofessional

SUPER high praise for all the staff that literally dropped everything to help us find our son. (No parent of the year award here, but we certainly do try.)They were quick to respond and within seconds every employee was helping us look for him. It was the absolute worst feeling I've ever had but those employees were simply and utterly amazing. Thank each and every one of you that helped and the company it's self for training them to handle these type of situations.

Card reader was not working and my account was charged but I was not able to leave because a receipt would not print. Cart full of groceries and I had to sit there and argue with the cashier about being charged but no receipt was printed. I showed them by bank account with the time stamp AND store number AND the exact total of the groceries for which I was charged and she said that if I just left they would call the police... manager finally came, apologized, admonished the cashier and let us go. Worst experience.

Really horrible night manager and alot of the staff. I'm in town for a few days tending to my kid at UNC. This was the closest Walmart to my hotel. The demeanor of the staff and managers here really pissed me off. It started late in the morning of 8-18-15 with a few oil changes I needed to get. It was really disheartening to see my vehicle treated like one of the technician's personal sofa. Right in front of me I observed one of them literally lounging in my truck without a care in the world just laughing it up. Then the lady cashier at the auto center counter was throwing up all sorts of major attitude because my wife forgot to initially ask for a gift receipt for an item. Later on around 10pm that same night I came back to get a pair of fishing pliers that they had for a really great price. The pliers were behind a locked glass cabinet. I literally had to chase down and talk to an evasive Walmart associate... who as he's walking away from a paying customer told me the dept was closed after 10pm. Keep in mind there is NO SIGNAGE specifying that. I then went to the store manager who dismissed me out of hand saying that yeah the dept was closed with no other attempts on her part to rectify the situation. So much for great customer support on her part. My blood began to boil due to her unyielding tone so I just walked away. Wish I could give this location a negative star. Hope Walmart Corp. has someone monitoring the bad reviews on Yelp. People make or break a big company like Walmart.

I called this Walmart last night to check if my order was ready be picked up since I have to bring my baby with me if I had to pick up my item. The lady who answered the phone said she will try to find someone to help me, she put me on hold for 9 minutes and I figured she must have forgotten about me so I hang up and tried calling again. The same lady answered and I told her again that I am checking on the status of my order, she put me on hold again and said the same thing that she will try to find someone to help me. After 20 minutes + waiting on the phone I have again decided to hang up and tried calling. This time I asked for a manager, the same lady said she will try to find a manager. After 5 minutes she told me the manager was basically busy but someone should be able to help me soon. After on hold for 25+minutes again, I decided to hang up and tried calling AGAIN. The same lady again answered my call and when she knew it was me calling she laughed a bit and said she will try to find someone to help me. Somebody finally said you will received an email if your order is ready, which I explained to her that the email I received says my order should have been ready Monday which was the night after I call. I asked the lady which I believe was one of the manager to see if she can at least check their system just to make sure and she said NO. First of all, I just want to point out how HORRIBLE and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL their costumer service are. I don't think being put on hold several times and being put on hold for more than 20+ minutes was funny at all. Someone in their CORPORATE NEEDS to really look in to their management in this specific location. THIS IS BY FAR THE MOST HORRIBLE STORE I've ever experience. WHAT A HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIECE. Their items might be cheaper than other store but if they continue on this path in dealing with their customers, eventually they will lose a lot of costumers and I would say I am one of them. Cheap is good but treating your costumer better would get you further.
