I’m going to start this off with, I know customer service jobs are one of the most difficult jobs out there. I myself work a customer service job so I try to be understanding. HOWEVER, I placed a Home Delivery order like i have in the past and it usually goes smoothly with no problems, but yesterday (July 22) I did my usual grocery order 3-4 hours ahead of expected delivery time (7pm-9pm). It was 8:50pm when I received an email saying my order was delayed. Inconvenient but I could wait. It was then nearing 11pm and i have not received any further update so I rescheduled to get it first thing in the morning the next day (today). I scheduled it for 7am-9am and nothing. I called the store but no one picked up. I called customer service and there was little they could do, only rescheduling or canceling. And I wanted my groceries so i chose to reschedule. They said they would contact the store to have THE STORE reach out to me with an email and new scheduling times. NOTHING. I called the store line multiple times but no one was picking up until I called the electronic department to TRY and talk to someone. An associate picked up and when i asked to talk to someone like a manager or someone who can help me with my delivery order, they put me on hold for 5 minutes and then hanged up on me like nothing. I understand it can get busy but I had to rescheduled my order already and no updates! Just the same “Delayed, still in progress” and no one is there to pick up the phone either! No way to contact them directly and their associates hanging up on waiting customers! Still currently waiting for my order (10:45am) Again i have not had any problems like this in the past so it is really frustrating that I do and have no way of contacting someone who can help me!

We visited this establishment primarily to restock during a recent road trip. We found the parking lot spacious offering several good parking opportunities. We found the store to be clean and well maintained, free of any noticable or deferred issues. We found the store well stocked offering everything we needed. Our interaction with the staff was pleasant and highly professional. Overall we were very pleased with this visit. Would easily recommend.

This Walmart is doing some displays and making the store less cluttered and crowded so I'm glad of that. I did ask for some help from one employee but she didn't know any English. I think if they're going to hire people they should at least be proficient in English

The customer service is very poor. The money services often is empty… instead the Walmart app and the one pay app (card from Walmart) says: You could make a cash deposit on the money services or the customer service… when you try to obtain the service in the customer service after wait more than 20 minutes… trying to obtain the minimum and simplest service OFFERED by the store they says only: no, we can’t… go again to the money services… THERE IS NOBODY!!!. That’s when the automated systems FAILS… obtaining poor staff with very poor skills and nothing of critical thinking This is the only Walmart in the city with this problem in this area specifically.

They do not have contactless checkout machines at the cashiers. You have to enter, or swipe your card at Every single machine and sometimes they do not work. Even gas stations have this feature making it more convenient. The worker couldn’t get the machine to work either, so their solution was to try another machine….

I was having difficulty locating an item I had seen on the interweb that was reportedly at the N. Mesa, El Paso, Texas Store. Elena was working hard stocking and she asked if I needed help. I advised her what I was trying to locate and she advised me that many items in the mens section had been relocated and she would help me find the item if it was in stock. She stopped what she was working on and advised me to follow her which I did. She checked a couple of locations since the men's section location was in transition. She located the item and advised me of a couple of options. Because of employees like Elena, even shopping a a large Walmart SuperCenter can be a pleasant experience. Elena was extremely patient, friendly and knowledgeable. Whomever hired her and trained her should also be comended. Thanks for another positive experience at Walmart. Keep up the great work ethic!

It's just another Walmart Supercenter! Nothing really to brag about. They do have lots of products, lots of options, just not really many open cashiers. Even though they do have the self checkout available, sometimes it doesn't work properly. General cleanings in the store could be better. But I also know that these past few days have been real busy. Walmart's atmosphere is usually busy. Even if there is not many people, for some reason it still fills busy lol!

WARNING WATCH FOR THIS LOCATION. Had very bad customer service at the neighborhood El Paso Walmart. My wife needed help picking up water from this Walmart and she end up grabbing a Alcoholic beverag. Never have I ever been to a Walmart and they ask EVERYBODY to ID for an alcoholic beverage. Which we did not mind but I never seen that in the Walmart policy. Mind you people buy wine with their family and kids alot. But I guess they made up a new rule for me and my famil. Then the El Paso Police officer proceeded to tell me to " Go Back Where I'm from" as if black people don't belong in El Paso. I only been here for a week and walmart employees and El Paso Policemen already shooting shady vibes in the area.

English that's the language the workers should be speaking. I asked four different people a question and none of them spoke English. I finally found a person who spoke broken English but had no clue about any hiking in the store or where to find it. No wonder Walmart is failing the incompetence starts at the top and goes all the way down. You have to be incompetent to hire people like this. Maybe they're afraid to hire someone with half a brain because they might take their job. Last time I checked English was required for the job. What happened here.

We come here often and when I say often I mean at least once a week...sometimes twice a week. My husband normally goes by himself just for in and out runs if we forgot something in our pick up order or if they said it was out of stock. The reason for the rating is because everytime we ask an associate where something is, they never know. We are pretty much so familiar now with this store so we hardly ever ask where something is, but when we do....they don't know. It doesn't stop us from going though because we live right by this store and its just super convenient. The cashier's are just there to do their job. Some cashier's look really annoyed and it makes me feel so bad sometimes. Most of the time we scan our own items just because of that or because the lines are too long. Overall, we most likely will be back. Matter of fact, we did an online order and picked it up this morning and forgot to add an ingredient so off to Walmart we goooooo!!!

So if I am being honest, ever since they built the Walmart at West Towne, this Walmart has become the least favorable one. This Walmart is poorly stocked most of the time. Also, it is nearly impossible to EVER find anyone to help you. One of the biggest things is how dirty this Walmart is. The last time I was there, it seemed like nobody has cleaned the restrooms for a few days and the floors haven't been cleaned ‍ Also, the shelves are always filled with nasty shit. Like I know it's not their fault that people leave unopened food on shelves or kids spill stuff but it is their fault if they pass by it and don't clean it up. I honestly tried to avoid this Walmart at all cost unless they have something I can't find at the other location.

I ordered a single item online for curbside pickup and had to shop for groceries. I tried to pick up the item inside the store after shopping and was told I'd have to park in a curbside parking spot in order to receive my item . I ended up waiting in line for an hour. Never order curbside from this Walmart or your time will be greatly wasted.

Convenient and had whatever you need for a Super Walmart. I have no complaints. To avoid the crowds you have to go during the off peak hours, morning or later in the day. That's the same for any Walmart. They have a selection of food if you need something in addition to an electronics department, bedding, and they are good when the school year starts. They have a list of most school supplies nd the school lists. Each week something goes on sale so keep an eye out in the weekly circular.

This Walmart used to be my go to for all necessities. Especially whenever it came to price matching. I never had a problem, until today. There was a "supervisor" named Greg; horrible excuse for a human being and employee. Not only was he rude, he didn't explain anything and proceeded to raise his voice as if I couldn't hear him. He drew attention and was beyond embarrassing. If this happened to me a customer, I can only imagine how he treats his employees and other customers as well. If you do happen to drop by this Walmart and have a run in with him, avoid him at all costs. He isn't helpful, and you're better off finding another employee to better assist you. Only reason I gave it a 3/5 rating is because the over all atmosphere and employees are normally extremely helpful.

Worst Walmart I've ever been to. I'm not just passing through. I come a lot. And I've travelled to almost every state and have been to so many Walmart's but every time I come to this one specifically. They always are so crowded and short on staff and stocks. And they have it in the back always but it's just not on the shelf have no idea why. Then there COVID rules are way over the top. Like I get it if it's just a Walmart thing like over the globe. But it's not. It's just this Walmart.

This Walmart is the reason people hate Walmart, it's every damn reason why people hate big-grocery and big-retail. The service couldn't be worse than it is, the employees are rude and undisciplined, the store is filthy, unkempt and frankly disgusting. The other day I was shopping for a digital camera and I stood in one place for 45 minutes to try and see if anyone would help me, I counted literally 16, yes 16 employees walked right by me, some of them might as well have brushed up against me. Absolutely reprehensible. If there was a blacklist for retail stores, this would be at the very top. Other Walmart's are nowhere near this bad, who is managing this apocalyptic disaster?

Want to go to a third-world country? No need to travel. Walmart on Mesa St. fits that bill. Shelves aren't stocked well, parking sucks and English is NOT the first language spoken. The food selection is NOT as good as advertised. Skip it and go to the one by Artcraft.

The Walmart corporation has been in my opinion on a steady decline of conveniency, good customer service, and cheap products. To elaborate, I walked into the customer service line to return, exchange, get change, and other various questions and concerns and have ALWAYS been denied service in the past two-three years , due to their own inability to train employees to fight and assess fraudulent transactions. Now they make their customers pay for it. Along with that, competing supermarkets have much, much better prices, on the same things! I hope this huge corporation starts changing something because they are crooks at the moment.

Worst customer service. Needed stamps and cashier didn't have any so sent me to customer service. Girl couldn't be bothered. She didn't have stamps, didn't seem to try to find anyone who did have stamps. But I wasn't sure because she was checking her schedule on the computer. Then went and banged on the door off to the side and yelled "I need stamps!" Then she had a casual conversation in Spanish with a co worker who walked up. I just stood there unsure if she was still trying to get me stamps. Then I just left. No "sorry", no "ma'am I'm still trying to locate some stamps",no "have a nice day." I'll drive to the other location. Don't bother with this one.

I'm never disappointed at how disappointed I feel after shopping at Wal mart! Today I asked an associate where I could find the filters for brita water pitcher. He sent me to picture frames. I went back to him and I asked him again. He told me he didn't speak English. Unbelievable!! Also, if you want to know how Maria's love life is going, I have all the info as she provided her coworkers with the complete version while they were "stocking". Seriously, I need a new place to get my groceries.

I seriously want to write a song... WALMART IS FOREVER!! Are you kidding me???? All I needed was printing paper at 1 AM!! The lines were "forever," there were several employees standing around chatting, the store stinks and is so messy, and I was unable to use the self-check line. I just want to print my work.. that's all. After waiting in line for ONE cashier... I started timing my wait. I literally waited 47 minutes with 6 people in front of me at 1 AM! Really Wal-Mart!! Why though? In my opinion, if you want to go to Wal-Mart, please remember it's FOREVER!!!

Straight to the point, Isabel/Isabella (I don't remember her name tag) from the Electronics section was not only rude but made me waste my time (1 hour) and the time of others waiting due to the fact that I needed help with a phone and she kept saying "i don't know and no one else in the store does" She was unable to provide me with information from the department SHE WORKS FOR. I went to another Walmart and some guy answered my questions,made a phone sale to me and helped me set up my phone service at home in less than 20 minutes.

This used to be the Walmart i would go to when i didn't feel like long lines and unorganized products. However over the last couple of years it has developed into a really bad Walmart. There's almost always a mess and the spacing in the aisles has gotten narrower and narrower. I only shop for specific items at this location now and most of the time I'm in and out (with exception of the long cashier lines). Greek yogurt, cheese sticks, deodorant (both stick and spray), shampoo, and my dog and cat food. I now buy all my groceries elsewhere and not because its cheaper but because the shopping experience is more pleasant.

I use a Wells Fargo Platinum Visa debit card with chip tech at Walmart stores. Unfortunately it does not prompt for a pin nor offer cash back at walmarts and walmart neighborhood markets. It does process as a debit transaction but does not allow proper debit features. This same card as a chip enabled card works perfectly at all other local retailers (are you sufficiently embarrassed yet, Walmart). If I run this same card as a mag stripe transaction at Walmarts it runs properly and completely as a debit. My bank has recently replaced this card just in case their chip was suspect but neither the old nor new cards work as chip enabled ones correctly -- at just walmart retailers. I contacted customer service at Ark. home office and was told they'd need to work out issues with the local stores--I don't expect resolution given my previous encounters with local store mgmt. It seems unbelievable to me that one of the largest retailers in the world cannot get their checkout software working properly for the new chip readers. I now wonder what other unknown things their checkout system does or doesn't do with the information embedded in your chip debit cards. I won't go back and I certainly don't have hope that Walmart will even investigate what is going on with their checkout systems.

I'm a little disappointed with this particular Walmart, I found it to be way too disorganized, messy, and crowded. I'll never be one of those people who give Walmarts bad reviews simply because they are not Whole Foods, I know what to expect from a Walmart, which is why I was so let down by this location, it just doesn't measure up to most other Walmarts in town. And this is supposed to be the nice part of town!

Too many people waiting for the lines to open up so we can sprint like the olympians we are to race back to our cats and drive like nascar to get home and cry in the hot shower and pretend it wasn't so.... Please want to create jobs??? Utilize the 20 checkout stands instead of overworking 3 people to the point of homicidal tendencies... They arent rude they are abused... Give them and us all a brake. worst experience ever! Very unprofessional employees! I was asking an employee in the electronics area for her assistance on why there was a false price on something & she gave me the worst customer service ever telling me she couldn't do anything to help me & went on telling me how i was uneducated because she THOUGHT i snapped my fingers at her!! She very much shouldn't be working there for one, & shouldn't be working at all if she isn't professional & doesn't know about customer service! Plus, management did nothing about it! Thanks for the terrible experience walmart! It doesn't amaze me :)!!!

I love walmart, they usually have a good selection of things but the the last time I shopped there All of my frozen foods were old and frost bitten ?! And they never have any fresh fruit?!? The staff are super helpful though ... Even though I live in sunland park I'd much rather visit the walmart on dyer or just goto target for frozen things .

I went to my local Wal-Mart store located at 7555 N Mesa St, El Paso, TX yesterday to get a new battery in my Invicta watch. The young lady in jewelry said she could not put the battery in my watch but said she would get someone who could. A man names "Carlos" came to the counter and said he could do it. He asked if I had purchased the watch from Wal-Mart. I said no and he told me store policy stated if I had not purchased the watch from Wal-Mart they would not be responsible for any damage to the watch. Being a simple task to put a battery in a watch, I agreed to let him do it. Twenty minutes later, after he kept his back to me the whole time, he tells me the watch is running but he cannot set it. I told him that was okay that I would set it. He disappears like a shadow in the night after handing the girl the battery package to charge me for the watch battery. Little known to me, Carlos had broken the stem off my expensive watch! He left the area knowing this without even an apology or anything! To make matters worse, they charged me $6.47 for the battery in a watch they had broken and no longer can use! I am very disappointed in this store and Wal-Mart as a whole! Sad such a large nationwide store would do this to anyone!!

I have been meaning to write this review for a few weeks now. I am from Alabama and my son moved to El Paso, TX so I went to this Walmart to get him all set up. NEVER AGAIN. First of all it was packed like a black Friday (Maybe because several days after Xmas?). It was hot, crowded and an ordeal looking for all I needed. I had an overflowing cart and still needed another cart full. So I went to customer service and asked to hold my cart until I was ready to check out. She assured me it would be safe and she would watch it. 2 hours later, when I was so relieved to be done, I checked out my 2nd buggie and told them about my first buggie. It was gone and of course the employee was not to be found. They obviously had put all the stuff back on the shelves that took me forever to get!. I was exhausted, hot and pissed! The worst part was I had taken my coat off which was under the pile of stuff. I went to the clothing section to check and see if they had taken it back there. Left my name and number...called and went back in for several days hoping to get my coat back. Obviously the employee putting the stuff back took my coat! Lesson learned shopping at Walmart is not worth it even if saving some money! The next day I finished my shopping at Walgreens and had a wonderful experience with no crowd, great prices, helpful staff... The sad part was it was extremely cold, and I had really needed my coat outside, and I loved that coat.

I'm so glad another Walmart opened up closer to my home. The high prices at other stores make it a must go-to but their way of running things is terrible. I don't blame Walmart for the crowds they attract. They are all there for the same reason. Decent prices. My biggest complaint is that because of the huge crowds they attract, they should know better than to put huge boxes or those smaller square shelving units in between large aisles creating more aisles that are not necessary. This is done by the pharmacy area when you walk in all the way to the garden area. It makes it horrific to shop in an already horrifically crowded area. Maybe their marketing research is telling them to put those items in the middle because people will buy them but as a customer it is that layout that drives me to shop at Family Dollar whenever possible to avoid the aisles. This is also done on the other side of the store when you walk in. Just very clutter like. And I do know what it's like to shop without them because at one point they were gone and I could move around freely. Maybe they were in the process of moving things around and then they brought them back. 2nd, although the cashiers are friendly for the most part, every single employee that you have working out on the floor needs a serious crash course in courtesy. I regularly see them gossiping in groups all over the floor. One time recently they were even blocking an aisle so I stopped and waited. They didn't acknowledge me at all, just kept talking! I stood there to see just how long it would take. A couple minutes later, one told the other one to move a little bit so I could get around! In years I have not even been acknowledged in any way or asked if I needed help from the thousands if situations where one had passed me. Test it for yourself! I see them on their phones while they are walking. Does management ever look at their cameras to see what their employees are doing? It's crazy out there for a customer. I will not set foot into this store again unless I must purchase a non grocery item. There is a lot of work to be done here and in the years I've been going, management has been making poor decisions.
