I always enjoy going to Walmart, Usually , I shop for specifics, so I get in & out. There was a good crowd shopping those sales today & there are sales. The store was clean & well stocked . The employees were courteous & helpful. 07/98/24 I went to Walmart to spend my People's HEALTH OTC we get every 3 months. I bought a few food items, there are some good sales going on . I ❤️ to shop early in the day.the store was clean & well stocked. Usually, i go to a person to check out my item. Ruby in scanning was sweet, patient &,courteous & helpful. I really appreciate the care & attention she gave me .after my 6 eye surgeries, two eyes are better than one. 😁 😆 ! Check them out!

Came in the store to do an audit and the manager Tabitha was extremely nasty for no reason. After I said okay to her refusing my credentials she choose to continue to antagonize me and asked me repeatedly when I was leaving the store. All I was doing was texting my superiors waiting for further instructions. A few minutes later, Tabitha called another employee “Donyell” to watch me stand in customer service. I don’t understand the reason a manger would get so hostile after I accepted the refusal. It is obvious this woman loves to feel superior due to her position. If that is the way she spoke to me I would hate to see the way she speaks to her workers.

Anthony and the young ladies in auto care did an amazing job helping me with my tire install!! Start to finish excellent customer service!! What took it over the top I also went to purchase items while I was waiting on my car and Shawn also did an excellent Job!!! The whole experience was over the top !! Thank you all so much!!

Hayquan employee at self checkout terrible customer service holding up a line at self checkout because apparently there has to be 2 open lanes for online pickup only at 9pm ?? With no one in line waiting. Half way through scanning items comes and shuts me down just to go stand in another kiosk next to it to rescan all my items.. recommend not going to self checkout if you don’t want to deal with nonsense

The Walmart Supercenters in New Orleans offers a convenient one-stop shopping experience for a variety of needs where customers have access to a wide range of products and services. The stores generally maintain a good standard of cleanliness and organization. Customers can find an extensive selection of items ranging from electronics, home furniture, and appliances to toys, clothing, and baby gear. The checkout process is the ones of the strangest ones I've seen, there are 12 if not more self-checkout stations, but you can use them only if you have 15 items or less! Who comes to Walmart to buy only 15 items?!!?! Now this wouldn't have been such a big problem if they had the same number of typical checkout stations, but here there were only 3 opened and you had to wait at least 45 minutes to pay!!! I do not want to know what are the waiting times during peak hours. The staff is not that well prepared and it's hard to find someone who can help you, I had to wait for 10-15 minutes for an employee to come and unlock an item. Rate: 2.3/5 Overall, this Walmart offers a great variety at good value which makes them a solid choice for a shopping routine, but be prepared to wait if you need something or when you checkout.

Called the store to report a creepy employee who was hitting on my 16 year old daughter (twice) and spooked her out the store. Then she as she left noticed him about 39 ft away behind her picking up grocery carts. And when I called the store. Not one damn number would answer the phone. Not HR not operator. Not any dept. Sickening

This review is for the auto center. I made an appointment for 4 brand new tires to be installed. I purchased them online which was on a Thursday and had to wait until Tuesday for the next appointment availability at 10am. I got here at 9:50am and it's 1:10pm and I'm still waiting. I honestly won't ever come to this auto center again. Only came here because the same tires another shop was charging much more were $109 here plus the cost of installation per tire. I have a Sequoia Platinum, so the tires aren't small and honestly both prices were a deal. I've paid over $1,000 before for premium tires. These guys do not work efficiently at all. It took them an hour just to pull my vehicle into the bay.

Yesterday I made my usual grocery order online ( prime membership), decided to switch to this location. When my order arrived the driver was acting disorderly, looked questionable and Refused to let me check my order he placed on my front porch. The driver screamed that he had no time or patients for this that he had other places to be. Let me remind you if the customer signs for the order without checking to make sure it's all there and the order ends up incorrect we don't get a refund. So, you can see my reasons for not signing at this point. My order was total of $282.00 but the driver placed down total of 7 bags. I could clearly see this was not my complete I order. I ended up refusing the order, rescheduling for a later time 7pm-9pm. Spoke with management, assured me they would reprimand the driver and have my order corrected and sent out at the time I provided AGAIN. Second delivery was sent, incomplete order again! This time the delivery driver checked with me and she too confirmed it was 16 items short. You can see my frustration at this time. The order was sent back, no one updated in the system (online app) that the order was returned so my husband and I have no option for a refund and we are without $282.00 to order with another store. I'm going into the next morning with no money, no groceries and a very very big Headache from this ordeal. Management lied, never lifted a finger to help us either times, Customer Support is Zero at this location, and expect disfunction while visiting online or within this store.

The Manhattan Boulevard Supercenter bathrooms always stink. The reason is the exhaust fans have been broken for years, and they too cheap to fix them. --

Large parking lot. Large well stocked inventory. Employees are out and about looking busy on the floor, not meeting the eyes of customers. Granted, this was December, peak holiday season, the employees are probably not paid well. Few registers open.

I am retired, and I've taken up dollcraft. Ok it isn't rocket science, but it DOES require certain supplies to get a project completed. I was working on a new set of doll-feet, and ran out of the glue I had been using. It was hardware quality and not quite right.. So I went to Walmart, where we are frequent shoppers for food and household items - and browsed their fabric/craft section. A lovely staffer named Rhonda was such a dear. She walked me over there (it is sooo easy to get turned around in a big store)..and there it was. She even advised me to try a small tube, see if I liked it. Since they usually have it in stock. Now, the best part? I came back a few days later, bumped into Rhonda again, and she remembered me! Back we went for some more glue. At a time when so many employees have a 'blah' attitude, someone with a service focus, like Rhonda? The lady gets a gold star from me!!!

My Curbside Pickup experience !! Total Dissatisfied !! Total Incompetent !! Total Ignorance !! Rude !! Almost an Hour to get my Pickup. !!! Called for Manager and can't get one !! I absolutely don't Recommend this Store !! Bad Service, really NO SERVICE !! I will NEVER go there again !! Trashy anyway !!

I have visited a ton of Walmarts around the country and I have NEVER seen a bigger bunch of sullen, unhappy, non-friendly, non-helpful employees in my life. It's like that in all the Orleans, Jefferson parish (except the one on Jefferson Hwy). But I have to come here sometimes. I just hope that I can get what I need without needing help and get out of there. It's really sad!

I liked this Walmart because they had vegan options, and they had vegan ice cream, the Soylent Green drinks. Plus you can get in and out of here fast.

if I could gibe it zero stars, I would. dirtiest store I've ever seen. I will never shop here again. Lady at door on my way out was rude When I told her I don't need to show her my receipt. If they can't trust you to scan your items properly, they need to hire cashiers To do it for you. She had the nerve to say you have to pump your own gas so what's the difference? I laughed so hard. The USA has gone to the gates of HELL.

Walmart low price is always a plus but at some locations the customer service is not. This location has great and friendly staff who helps with the needs of the customer

Do NOT order delivery from this store. You never get all of your items, yet they make you sign that you received your items BEFORE they take them out of the car. Most drivers are good, but a handful are NOT, which ruins it for all. Sadly, half of the time you wind up WITHOUT your ordered items. When you call into the store to report it, NOONE answers the phones. And I mean NOONE. (Even down to Human Resources). What a JOKE of a Wal Mart. This place needs new management and new workers that are willing to go the extra mile for customers.

With time comes wisdom and not only do I "do" Wal Mart now (I love a deal), but this Wal Mart is pretty good. The staff is always friendly and helpful, they have good deals on household items and beauty things and the check out line moves quickly, especially if you keep your item number low. I was most recently in here eyeing up the bicycles because I want to start riding. I didn't need anything fancy- just something nice to get me from point A to point B. The man working in the bike department was extremely helpful and let me look at the bike I wanted to buy and "try it out", so that I knew it would be right for me. He was so friendly and helpful and he made the process a breeze. I purchased my bike here and I love it! I've also noticed that makeup products are about $2 to $3 cheaper than you would pay at a drugstore, so this is where I get my makeup basics like pressed powder and things like that. The only recent frustrating experience I had was when I was buying a whole cart full of items and the cashier came to one item that had apparently been discontinued and her register locked and I couldn't complete my purchase because the manager was at lunch and she's the only one with the key to fix the machine. That was a mess, but that's the only issue I've had here. Tip: if you can, do the Wal Mart thing in the afternoon on a weekday- there are a lot fewer people and you'll be in and out in no time. I don't come to Wal Mart super often, but when I do I'm pleased with the experience.

So give 1 star because it wouldn't let me do zero stars. I've been in line 20 min now. 2 registers open. Now I remember why I never come here. I couldn't find a manager so I called the store. All I got was a recording. This is really a pitiful way to run a business.

The managers are as incompetent as the workers at this location. They don't know how to process WIC items. Suggestion: train all cashiers how to use WIC. They don't know how to properly check the orders going out for delivery. They give the wrong orders to the drivers and then give the costumer an attitude as if we made their mistake or even hindered their "valuable" time. Incompetent, they need to be replaced and hire people that understand the importance to double checking orders and taking the time to learn the systems and being friendly to their costumers.

It's clean & well stocked, but my LORD, why in the hell are these lines so long!!!! Grab a snicker & some patience from Oz & you'll be alright.

I thought compared to the Walmart on Tchoupitoulas, it's pretty good. Aisles were clean, cashier was polite, they had stuff I needed. Prices were ok for NOLA area. Didn't have any problems...so I'm giving it 3 stars because it's Walmart, so you shouldn't expect 5 stars. I didn't take any pictures because there are too many Walmart pictures on the Internet already. (Sorry mom) just kidding.

Hi, I was in the Walmart on Manhattan Blvd. in Harvey, La. and I was amazed at how empty the shelves were and there were freight sitting in every isle of the store and only a few workers were stocking shelves. It's ashamed to see the lack of concern for their customers and to see workers just walking around and not doing there job. Where is the manager at and why isn't he or she on the floor making sure the workers are stocking shelves and not walking around talking and laughing. I understand we are in a pandemic and there is no excuse for this kind of behavior when on the job site. The women bathroom need some serious cleaning and the odor is disgusting. I call this lack of management and laziness among your workers. ' WHAT A SHAME" Thanks

Visited Walmart very early in the morning asi prepared for a birthday party. Every employee I encountered was so delightful. I was pleasantly surprised that everyone genuinely greeted with a good morning/how ya doin'/do you need any help as I walked through the store. But what was so great was the opportunity to check out in the middle of the store with an associate that carries a portable scanner and credit card machine!!! No more standing in line! Yesterday's experience definitely left a positive impression.

I work on the Westbank and decided to go to Walmart after I got off late. I came across so many items I had to make myself leave. This store has everything! I went for 1 thing and left out with 5 bags. I definitely will be back to see what more they have at this location.

Its a Wal-Mart... but overall a good experience and they had everything I needed in stock. I even had a fast check out because they had enough registers open. Isn't that crazy.

Omg my sister in line at customer service what a joke for over 15 minutes and there are 5 people behind her and of course one person at the counter. It's crazy that you should have to wait that long anywhere in this freaking store with all the staff just walking around doing nothing really.

It's Walmart. Low prices, huge crowds, semi-decent selection of food, houseware, hardware, clothes, baby things, and just about everything else you could ever need. This location, to me, is probably the least "ghetto" of the Westbank Walmarts besides the one way out in Boutte. It hasn't been remodeled so it doesn't look as updated as the others, but there's just something about this particular Walmart that draws me here. It's probably the (usually) friendly staff and the fact that they actually keep the shelves stocked, unlike the one in Marrero. In general, I avoid Walmart when I can, but if my shopping list gets extensive enough that I need something from almost every department, I justify a trip. The Marrero one is right down the street from me, but unless I'm in a HUGE hurry, I'll make the drive to Harvey. The lines are typically only 1-2 people long during the week, too!

Meh, it's Wal-Mart so I can't get too excited. On the West Bank the Wal-Mart on Behrman is more convenient but I was driving my Mom around on manhattan so we popped in for a few things. Although I much prefer shipping at Target, Wal-Mart is cheaper so that's why we went there. This location seems nicer than the one on Behrman. Plus there was a particular lady (I should have asked her name) who was really helpful when we asked where things were. We ran into her a second time and she was patient and friendly yet again. Oh, and even better I must have had some good parking karma because I parked right in front of the store on a busy Saturday evening! If you have to go to Wal-Mart on the West Bank I would recommend this one.

I'M not a regular shopper here at this Wal-Mart. The store is neat and organized. it wasn't a lot that I had to get. I found what I needed, the cashier rung me up, I paid and on my way I went. By the way, the cashier provided good service...

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWFUL. Went in the store for a return and the manager named "zeena" (wasn't wearing a name tag so had to ask someone else) treated us we disrespect. When she refused to give a refund or exchange, I did not understand why not. She than became frustrated raised her voice and eventually walked away. She failed to offer proper customer service. She instead reacted with anger and walked away from us. I was left unattended and with unanswered questions.

This Walmart has to have the rudest cashiers ever! It's very rare that you even get a lot of them to say a hello let alone the total cost of your grocery bill. The lines are usually so incredibly long considering they only have 4 registers or so open during rush hour! Forget getting ice cream because by the time you wait the 20+ minutes in line you have melted ice cream! The perfect time to go to this store is in the morning hours shortly after it opens. The only reason I gave two stars is because most of the ladies who are the door greeters are polite, and speak to you as you enter and exit!

I go to this wal-mart out of convenience. Every week it seems to get worse and worse. From poor stocking of the shelves to a mess at checkout during prime shopping times. My trip yesterday was probably the worst I've had there in a long time, The lighting in 80% of the store was in half-off mode.

My daughter was terminated on November 11, 2015 and had yet to receive her final paycheck and termination slip. She was told that it was mailed and that it had been traced to a local post office in our area. She finally went to the Walmart only to find her check was still a drawer. When she tried to cash it at Walmart, she was told because it was written on an out of State bank, they would not be able to cash it for her. Personnel and customer service and incompetent and rude.

It's a Wal-Mart, so I shop there not for the ambience, but for the price, as well as convenience of being able to find most of what I need in one stop. Overall, the store is clean and organized satisfactorily and the staff friendly enough; I always find that if you are friendly to the cashiers and other employees, they are friendly in return. My biggest peeve is that every time I shop in this store, the wait for check out is unbelievably long. I was in the store a total of 1.5 hours yesterday, 30 minutes of which was in the check out line...never enough lines open. If I'm just shopping for groceries, I go to the Neighborhood Wal-Mart near the south end of Manhattan and never have a long wait.

The 7th circle of Hell. Filthy, 2 lines open with 150 people trying to check out (not exaggerating), and generally the last place on Earth to shop. I've got to quit coming here.

The selection in this Walmart compared to others is good. But the customer service is not. I went there and bought a couple mirrors when I got to the register one of them didn't have a price which I had not noticed. There were 3 employees behind the register I went to and they made me go back and find one with the price on it as if I was on their payroll.
