Waited 30+ minutes for someone to unlock a glass case to get a $3 pack of sandpaper. Spoke to 3 different associates who told me they were getting someone with a key, only for no one to come. This the 3rd time I’ve had to wait an excessive amount time just to get a simple item. Tried calling the store and the phone would ring and then hang up. It is now 1:04pm I’ve been waiting since 12:16pm, leaving without my cart of items as I’m dissatisfied and will not return to this Walmart.

JUSTIN LINES

Google
9:30pm, Monday evening 1/6/25, and this is the shortest line available. Making us hard working folks wait in line for 30 mins is wrong. It’s always like this at this store. We’ve got kids to put to bed. We still have to fix dinner. The General Manager obviously doesn’t work evenings, and simply does not care about the working class. Crazy is how many people are just standing around or attempting to move the product to the front to make it look full. This is a joke

Worst customer service ever, waited over an hour and a half, for a picture to print at the kiosk. I got no help from the employees here. They would come and check out and claim they have no idea why it’s taking long. No sense of urgency to help. 2 people here working and one of them always on there phone and ignore the fact that I’ve been standing here waiting. I asked them multiple times and they are clueless to what they are doing. You need better customer service and people who wants to take care of there customer. As I’m writing this review I’m still waiting here while no one comes to help.

I will never shop at another Walmart. TRUCK DRIVERS!! Most locations have security who comes around to let you know there’s no parking. This is the only location I’ve come across that has some sketchy people called “Dallas County Parking Enforcement” (not a county business btw) BOOTING trucks who are looking for a safe place to park overnight. WHYYYY would you boot my truck while I am still inside of the truck if you DON’t WaNT mE TO STaY In tHE PaRkING LOt?? No warning knock or anything. Walmart no longer deserves our Business as truckers. Suddenly they are enforcing no semi-trucks parking at their business not just at this location but all across the country they are making it known they don’t want Semi trucks parking in their lots. I remember when Walmart used to be the place for truckers to shop and get a rest break in, how times have changed. #STRIKE

Google
Walmart, you need to ensure your prices are consistent. I recently went to purchase a pair of casual jeans for work. The sale sign showed $24.98, the ticket price on the jeans was $22.98, but when I checked out, they scanned for $40.00. I went to customer service to address the price discrepancy and request a refund of the overcharge. Initially, the store manager/associate refused to honor the ticket price, saying they had to go by the scanned price, even though the ticket clearly said $22.98. I explained that it wasn’t my fault the prices didn’t match, and if they couldn’t honor the ticket price or sale sign, I wanted a refund. I ended up spending 15 minutes waiting while two different managers tried to resolve the issue. Although I was eventually refunded the difference, I felt the situation could have been handled more efficiently. Update 6/11/2024: Walmart has yet to reach out regarding this review!!!

My husband lost a screw out of his eyeglasses and the lens fell out. When I took his glasses to Lancaster Supercenter Vision Center they didn't hesitate to replace the screw. When I asked how much they charge for the repair I was told there's no charge!! I'm glad to let everyone know about the friendly service I received!! It was a high point of my day!!

Very disappointing to be in a long line at 730am on a Monday. The store opened at 7am and there are over 30 unopened checkout registers and over 20 unopened self checkout registers. The self checkout area is being attended to by 1 employee and only TWO of them are operational and accessible for checking out. I would imagine that at least all the self checkout registers would be open and operational in her section— to be more efficient and accommodate the customers better. Nope.

Jean Gonzalez

Google
I had absolutely no issues with this walmart up until recently. They removed all the self checkout lines, and what used to be a quick shopping experience now takes twice as long. They of course only have a handful of registers open which makes it go even slower. I'll probably just start driving to another location. I preferred having the self checkout option. I understand theft is a really big issue at this store, but they should do more to get it under control and bring back some of the self checkout.

Yelp
The people in the deli are awesome. I wanted a chicken and they talked to me while I waited. Eight of the self checkouts were closed. The line was long and ridiculous. If we are going to check ourselves out, why can't all the lines be open.

Yelp
Was stopped by a greeter he was rude and also accused me of stealing cokes and looked at my receipt for 6 and half mins after I explain the price of sodas are on the bottom of the receipt and he didn't believe me he mistake was it could be "numbers confusing " This is discrimination based on my race and I will not shop at this store again. I have money why would I steal I'm 36 years old

Leonardo W.

Yelp
One white old lady and one Asian old guy, those two greeters in the front door or in the back door are always racist and disrespectful to other people, especially that old guy, consistently treating customers in a rude way. Walmart should fire them, not to mention that only lady always just sits on her seat, never walks, what a chilling job for her!

Yelp
This review is for the AUTO CENTER... I ordered some tires online had them shipped to the lancaster walmart. I got an email saying they were at the store then a day later they send me another email saying its actually not, then a day later they sent me another saying it actually is. Good thing i put off going to pick up my stuff because i wanted them to also put them on. Last year i ordered tires they told me to go to the pick up section of the store...This year i just went to the pick up section but then they told me they actually keep them in the auto center. I was like wow ok, at that, they took 30 minutes to come assist me at the pick up even though i was the only one waiting for a pick up. I wasted my time coming to the pick up and the auto center was pretty busy and they ddnt have any workers to keep up with all the cars the day i went, they also said they were closing early because their were no workers available. So i left tried coming back the next day and same thing no workers showed up and the auto center was closed. At this time i was worried my wheels were going to come off, i needed these tires to be put on because their was so much shacking but i gave them another chance and came the next day. Its about 8:30 in the morning i was the first one in line for wheels, they tell me to check in inside so i did...this was kind of new because customers used to get checked in outside when you pull up. I went inside they checked me, i went to buy something to drink and got a snack. Then after like 10 minutes they finally put my car in to work on it. Note that their were only 2 people working, they were short again, but good thing i came early enough so that they can get me out quickly. So the guy starts setting up my car to lift it, i had told the manager already that i had led tubes on the bottom of my car and the worker STILL tried to lift my car where they were at...The year before, i had came and they did bust one of my tubes which are worth $50 and this year this guy came and told me if i lift it they will burst..OK!? thats why i told ya before hand. Good thing i was watching the whole time because if not they would have busted my stuff again. He then tells me he cant do the job because they cant lift it because those leds are in the way. I was like what about those jacks cant ya manually lift it? He said i dont know you have to ask the manager. I went inside to talk to the manager he says they cant do the job because of the leds, then i told him what about the jacks can ya do it with those? Hes like yea but the worker said that BOTH jacks were not working. Im like wow, and this is walmart they have jacks all over the place..They eventually told me they couldnt do the job and i told them can i just take them off myself then? They said yea but i had to park my car somewhere else and do it. I ended up taking my own wheels off even though im sure they were lying about the jacks being messed up. At that the guy working on my tires took so long he kept doing other stuff! And when he was finished he said the women inside needed to do the paper work. I was waiting outside for a while because he said she needed to give him the paper work then he goes inside and after a while longer i go inside and its like he knew i was coming and he just goes back outside. Their was a line inside i waited till it was my turn and i finally got to ask about the paper work, the women says that SHE IS WAITING FOR HIM to give her the paper work. I laughed and told her, wait he said the same thing. Im sure they both like to joke around with their job and the customers. I talked to her two days before and i dont know she just doesnt know how to greet anyone she just looks at you like what you want, doesnt say hi or nothing and she acts like you dont know what your talking about because she is the "specialist." Anyways most likely not coming to get tires mounted at this location anymore. There is never staff here, everyone is always late even in the electronics section. A lot of employees never really care about you or helping and this is coming from the employees themselves. I wonder if walmart will pay for last years damages to my leds???

Yelp
Terrible Walmart! They have terrible staff and they say they close at 11pm but it's really 10:15pm! They close out the registers at 10pm and don't tell you til you get to the front!

Carla Z.

Yelp
Worst Walmart ever. They have horrible customer service. Customer service is always closed when the website says it should be opened. Dirty isles and rude workers. Go somewhere else!

Yelp
Always have two briskets out for sale and their rib prices per lb is higher than other Walmart's from other regions. The service is ok but could be better. They now close early and it's not 24/hr anymore. As big of a company as Walmart is you mean to tell me your marketing people can't think to update the yelps and other pages of your new business hrs? My husband and I have a catering business and time is money so when I drive out of the way to find out this news, you could imagine how pissed especially since we've been through hell and back with this place because it's the nearest location. Also we found out Dickey's bought all their briskets one day but yet we only see two every time we go. However the Walmart 30 mins always has at least 10-20 out. It's sad we have to drive 30mins to stock up.

Yelp
If you're looking for grass fed ground beef they usually have it here! But, if you prefer organic veggies beware very few here. No pastured eggs, milk or creamer either. The pharmacy? Those people working in the pharmacy are rude to each other. What a circus, I'm not getting my medicine from you. I know of better places with friendly associates :P

Yelp
Called earlier in the day and was told the money center closed at 8pm. Arrived at 6:39 pm, sign clearly says 8am-8pm M-F. The lights to the money center were off. A Walmart employee says,"They're done for today." I said, "Done.. but not closed per the sign." She just had a confused look and kept walking. Ridiculous!

Yelp
It took 3.5 hours for them to change 1 tire!!! I was given an estimate of 1 hour to patch the tire. Then when they called me an hour later they said it needed to be replaced. I asked how long it would take. 20 minutes. But they "forgot to write it up" so it took 2 more hours!!!!! Insane!

Yelp
Pretty much all Walmarts are the same. This one has plenty of parking and it was the Super Walmart. It was very clean from what I seen, a Police officer was at the entrance door. Not sure if because it has had issues but I didn't see anything that I would have been worried about. I went in for some beauty supplies and noticed that section is smaller then what I am used to in my home town. Surprising since I am in a very small town and this area is much larger then when where I live.

Yelp
The customer service line at this store is a joke. I went in to make an exchange on an item that did not fit my daughter. The ladies behind the counter (who are supposed to be managers) were loud and yelling, and acting like complete baboons while several customers were waiting to be helped. It took me nearly an hour to get to the counter and finally make the return and the lady who did the return was extremely rude and didn't even look at me the entire time. Her face was sour and she had a bad attitude that really rubbed me the wrong the way. To feel like you are not worth someone's time or energy is appalling, especially at a place that you spend a lot of time and money at. Just ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous.

Yelp
Very poor customer services skills. My rude encounter happened today 11/24/18. Pamela rudely told me that I could not touch their "artifacts" in the customer pickup area. I asked her who are you talking to? Her response was you! I went to get her manager and told her to tell me that in front of her manager. They exchanged words and Pamela said "anyway" and continued with what she was doing. I will be contacting corporate.

Yelp
If you are getting your oil change at Walmart STOP they have workers that are putting to much oil in cars.

Yelp
If I could give this store zero stars, I would. This place is a joke. From now on, I will go to another Wal-Mart only when they have something I cannot live without -- I would much rather spend my hard earned money at Target. Basically, what happened is this -- I went in one day around 4 or 5 and didn't bring my debit card with me that day -- all I had was cash because I didn't need much. I went to both self checkout areas only to be told that the machines weren't taking cash, only cards. So then I went to check out in the garden center as I was parked over there -- the cashier was extremely rude and said that she didn't have a drawer so I couldn't pay with cash. Went to another register in the store, and was told the same thing. At this point I was exceptionally irritated, so I left the store without the purchase. Ended up going to Target for my things, and had no problems. The next morning, I tried to get ahold of store management by phone to let them know what happened, to no avail. No one came to the phone after being on hold for a very long time. So I ended up contacting corporate to complain. I'm sorry, but it is unacceptable that I couldn't spend my cash at this store. The next day, after contacting corporate, I was called by a store manager. I explained what had happened. She told me that they have a new cash handling system in place and the employees are still in transition with learning how to handle the system. She said that it would be changing and getting better within a week. I also told her that the employees are extremely rude and unhelpful, and she said she knows that's a problem, and they have a lot of employees who are only there for a paycheck. I'm sorry, but this is unacceptable. Most of the employees aren't actually working from what I've seen anyway, so if they're only there for a paycheck, why are they keeping them around at all??? This all happened about 2 months ago, and I hadn't been back to this store until yesterday. Surprise , surprise -- the self check out lanes still weren't accepting cash and the employees were still rude. What's amazing to me is that I've been to the Red Oak and Waxahachie Wal-Mart locations, and neither of them ever have problems with accepting cash, and the employees are actually really nice. In my opinion, this store needs to be shut down for a while, hire and actually train some employees who are actually worthwhile, and then re-open.

Yelp
Never going back to this location again. I would go to the vision center to get my eye exams done but even that place has gone downhill. Terrible customer service. Not professional at all, everyone in that office is extremely rude, yes including the doctor. I've been going to this location since I was a child but from now on I will be taking my business somewhere else!

Yelp
My roommate is disabled and is unable to walk the length of a Walmart store, he requires one of the battery charged chairs to do his shopping. Everytime we come to this Walmart they never have any battery operated chairs available for the disabled. Since we can never get a battery operated chair here we go to a different Walmart. We don't shop here anymore.

Yelp
I absolutely detest going in this store. Like another reviewer said, I will drive out of my way purposely just to avoid this Walmart. The employees have absolutely zero customer service training. I've had 2 experiences recently where neither one of my cashier spoke to me let alone told me to have a good day. During both of these visits each cashier just looked at me when it came time to pay, neither one even bothered to speak and tell me my price. Now that sounds trivial I realize, because after all, there is a monitor that I can visibly see that will tell me how much I need to fork over. But actually speaking and communicating with your customers is a rather large part of working in retail. There's a reason its called customer service, you deal with customers!!!!!! On the first occasion I immediately went to a front end manager and reported my encounter, to which the manager apologized and said he'd talk with her (the cashier.) I have no idea whether he did or not, but my guess is not. I didn't even bother the 2nd time around. I just decided I'd go elsewhere from now on! Walmart is a multi-billion dollar company that no longer cares about its employees. Walmart was my very first job back in my teen years, they've went way down hill since then! :(
