I'll start by clarifying that this review is specifically of the photo center. I came here to try to print out a collection of photos of myself to put in an album to send to my parents who live about 10 hours away. I recently graduated from the university and they don't have any pictures from my college years or my athletic career here (I was a student-athlete) and I figured my parents, particularly my father (who is literally dying from stage 4 colon cancer), would appreciate pictures showing what I've done with the past four years of my life. The employee wouldn't give me 53 of the 84 pictures I was trying to print due to "copyright" laws. She DID sell me two copyrighted images that literally said copyright on them (I accidentally included a couple watermarked copies of my desired photos), but since she was only looking at image quality the low resolution images "passed" her "test". She also barred me from purchasing pictures taken on my girlfriend's iPhone: she was an elderly woman who views modern phone camera photos as "professional" quality, and doesn't realize that cameras have gotten better in the last few years. I guess that's a (dubious) testament to iPhone camera quality. She removed photos that were clearly selfies, taken by me, with Instagram filters on them, as she clearly thought there was no way an amateur could take such a good photo. I guess that's a compliment to my devilish good looks and photography skills, but personally I'd rather just be allowed to purchase my own pictures, of myself, to give to my family. She also refused to sell un-copyrighted images of me taken by a friend (he is a photographer though, so I guess I should cut her some slack there). Finally, though maybe most understandably, she refused to give me pictures of myself doing my sport, despite the fact that I was given a password to download them by our media director and I was legally within my right to print them for personal use. I tried to explain all these things to her but she just glared suspiciously, as if she thought I was an undercover FBI agent sent to try to imprison her, or maybe an unscrupulous felonious youth bent on selling these "copyrighted" image to my parents for illegitimate gain. Despite her excessive paranoia she could still lose her job for selling me the only two pictures that actually were copyrighted. So either I'm ridiculously photogenic (I'm not), I'm an FBI agent (I'm not), I'm trying to sell 84 single copies of photos of myself (I'm not, and don't know who would buy them) or... this lady doesn't know how to do her job.
