I am not one to complain especially when I know the system. Ive managed 2 Goodyear stores before I got my degree in Engineering. Yesterday all I wanted was an oil change. Process is simple. You check in . Attendant at counter takes vehicle information. Year, make and confirms engine. What more information can one need for an oil change? None. I await 2hours sitting there because its the nature of the industry. They come out and tell me 5gey cannot service me. I ask why? Vehicle information was not printed. I asked what information you need? Service manager felt he did not need to explain. As I insisted he stated they could not find information in products book. I stated look on your site. I went and did it. Got the oil filter they needed off their shelf with information from their site. They state they cant do that. So they use their crm system to get you registered. Dutifully some information is not generated by system on their work sheet, they now go to a product book.If that product book does not show product they are lost? They still have a system tgst if you insert car information it tells you product that fits that car. Service manager states he is done and walks away......Utterly ridiculous. Then the attendant also was just laughing as if to say "Get it we not servicing you Ha! Not as if was a jerk at any time. I was respectful. But if was something I never expected. So please if you can ask them first if they are truly going to service you before waiting. TO CONFIRM they have knowledge.
