Walpole Rest Point Caravan Park

My cousin and I stayed for the weekend and it was perfect! Very central to activities, the accommodation was very clean and had everything we needed and the staff (a special shout out to Jody at reception) were friendly and knowledgeable! One of the highlights is one of the hundreds of dvd's to choose from to cuddle up by the heater and watch at night- another highlight is the incredible view of the lake and waterbirds that inhabit it I'd love to come back!

We stayed in our caravan and our site was great although it rained but it didn’t matter! Beautiful caravan site and gorgeous views! Staff were really lovely, will definitely stay again.

Stayed in a chalet. Location & surrounds makes up for outdatedness. Beautiful morning and night. So quiet. Lots of caravaners.|Fully equipped kitchen to cook any meal. Bathroom needs doing up, but who cares when everything else so lovely. Only stayed one night but you could stay much longer. Canoes available and would have been great if had more time|Recommend for those that want functional not fancy

Would have loved to stay longer and canoed on the beautiful water. Central and easy if travelling north, east or west. Mainly campground, but some accommodation which is functional, if a little old. Take food in, full kitchens. Beautiful outlook, quiet. Not fancy but would recommend

Lovely location with great walks and wildlife. Beautiful sunrise over the lakes. Facilities and amenities older style but very clean. There is a very scenic walk from the park around the lake to a small beach and other nearby walking tracks.

The caravan park is awful they have bulldozed the nicest part the park to put in cabins. When you have two of the best hiking and bike packing trails on your doorstep wouldn’t you think that a nice tent area away from the caravans would be more appropriate? Coal mine beach #%### all over this place.

Stayed 1 night in a powered site in a camper-van for $56 (last minute booking). Facilities were good and clean throughout the night and even in the morning, kitchen had utensils, stove, pots and pans. It was poor weather for us but would have been a beautiful spot. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Pulled up our caravan here for one night only, but was really impressed with the location. The stunning waterside location is something that sets it apart from other caravan spots & we enjoyed taking an evening stroll down to the jetty. Beautifully maintained grass at each of the caravan spots, which are very generous in size & space. Will definitely return here if we find ourselves in Walpole again.
