Went crazy style on the bodega roll. Sausage patty was immaculate, creamy eggs, crispy hash, the tomato sauce to top it off rounds out a top Brekky sandwich. Pancakes and French Toast went hard too. Crispy edges, fluffy inside, bacon the perfect level of crisp. Service was great, prices even better for the modern cafe and portion size. 5/5 would let this ruin my guts again.

ORDERED: 🥞 Blueberry pancake: 3-stack served with blueberry compote, butter and maple syrup ($24.00) + 🥓 bacon ($7.00) + 🥔 hash brown ($4.00) I paid $36.46 for my portion here! REVIEW: 🙋‍♀️ As someone who doesn't have pancakes often, I really enjoyed Walrus' blueberry pancakes. Soft, eggy, sweet and everything I would look for in a pancake. We got that pancake with salted butter which tasted divine amongst all the sweet notes. Once you cut through the pancake there's a beautiful cross section of blueberries! In regards to side: bacon was crispy, hash brown was crispy food - was fabulous. Perfect amount of maple syrup! I only wish there was more butter! 🙏 ✨ Service was great. Even though we were seated outside, they didn't have us wait too long to order our food. Lines are so long though! 🥲 Interior was fun, it seems like Walrus has really committed to an easy American diner theme. Tall plastic water cups, booth seats, cool lighting pendants!!

Walrus wins best bacon and egg roll in Melb. Driving down Sydney road in peak hour is enough to make you want to take a quick turn into a pole, but walking down Sydney road and taking a quick turn into Walrus is divine. Dirk recommended this one to me and I’m glad he did. The soft bun, the crispy bacon, that cheese just oozing over the egg - what? How. How is it so good. Also the dapper chap running front of house is friendly and on point, this place is sensational.

First timer and I love this place! No clue how people say the service is lacking, maybe we got lucky. The girl serving us was super sweet and smiley, attentive and engaging. Food is stunning, coffee on par with it. The fitout is welcoming and the tableware is nostalgic and makes you want to bag it all.

Delightful brunch spot well worth a visit. Food fresh and tasty. Staff welcoming. Sit inside or out

Staff were friendly and service was quick, food was good felt like an American diner very filling only a couple of sits inside then outside.

Fantastic breakfast! We arrived on Sunday with a line but it moved quickly and we were seated shortly - absolutely worth the wait. The pancakes with real maple syrup + creamy scrambled eggs were the star of the show and ambience was cool with a counter top diner + interesting art. Highly recommend.
