Walter Clore Wine & Culinary Center

Great spot in the heart of wine country that showcases wines from all over Washington, not just the Yakima Valley. They like to showcase little known vineyards, especially ones too small to have their own tasting rooms. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.

Mask required. Wine store had a great selection. Kitchen was open for lunch on the patio. Order a flight of red, white, or a mix of both for tasting. We ordered the cheese board and flat bread (and a flight each of the red & white wines), both were fantastic! Five stars for the kitchen!

My wife and I had such a great experience here. William was gracious giving away all his knowledge of the valley. Extremely detailed wine tasting and he gave us great recommendations for the rest of the weekend.

Walter Clore Wine and Culinary Center is a must stop for visitors to Prosser! The informational map regarding the different appellations of the grapes helps all visitors to visualize our magnificent wine country. Monthly the Clore Center features different wineries in our state, allowing guests to both taste and purchase these wines that they might not have the opportunity to enjoy. We love taking our guests to the Clore Center!

Stuart was informative about the wines. We bought the Eleven which is a nice light summer wine for patio evenings. We also met Josh from Elephant Seven Winery who is a young winemaker that is producing a Grenache and 2 Syrahs that are sooo good!! We bought 2 of each. Check him out 🍷

3:30 pm Thursday July 27...website says open til 5. Not. We're former Washingtonians traveling from AZ wanting to again visit the WC CENTER on our way thru. Very disappointed to be misguided by website and that the Center was closed.

Really cool place if you're onto Washington and/or wine. It's like going to a new-age museum where they give wine samples. Awesome spot to hit up if you're in the area.

Great place to taste fantastic wines. Patio is dog friendly just walk around west side yard through gate. Food is amazing.

It is a very nice place. They have a very big open space for indoor wine tasting, nice service, have all sorts of fun other things to buy on top of wine and have educational materials as well. I would highly recommend checking out this place.

What a wonderful experience! You get to learn about the history of the wine industry in Washington while tasting various wineries' wares. Every month they feature a different AVA so the tasting menu is ever-changing. In addition they have a GREAT food assortment: we're not talking triscuits and cheese here, people! We had a peach & tomato salad and shisito peppers in pesto - both dishes were perfection!!

Tasting room manager April Reddout is amazing! She went above and beyond to help facilitate a wonderful weekend in wine country for a group of 8 ladies! Everything was exquisite....from suggesting our activities, planning our blind tasting, connecting me to local chef, Kristin Johnson for a winemakers dinner at Daven Lore Winery, etc. I can't thank her enough. We loved our wine tasting experience at the Walter Clore Center....the wine, the amazing food (the chef outdid himself) the tour, the gracious hospitality...it was perfect! We all learned a lot and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our time at the Center. Thank you for creating such a fun, and personalized experience for us!

This place is amazing!! Where else can you taste several different Washington wines in one place? The tasting room staff are very friendly and knowledgeable as well. They also have a wine club! If you're new to wine clubs, start here! You can get two bottles of Washington wine per month, they always send their best sellers. It's a great way to get to know local wines without breaking the bank signing up for several different wine clubs. They also serve delicious food courtesy of Ethos Trattoria.
