Great for celiacs! The staff is so nice and caring with gluten-free food. They made sure to come to me first, asking for my order, so no mistakes were made. And I got my food first too with a little red flag in it stating "gluten-free". All the desserts are gluten-free! The tiramisu and pizza are incredible. We made a reservation again afterwards for the next night 😄

Food was good, service was mid; why did we HAVE TO pay the tip, without being given an option? Since when has Italy become part of North America’s tipping culture?? Sigh.

A good service, but don't be fooled, when you asked for just plain water they'll bring you a bottled one they charge for 4€ minimum, quite unbelievable. Besides that, the food was nice, a good risotto and mushroom pasta!

As my friend says, probably the best gluten-free pizza that I have ever tried. The service is quick and really attentive and they are trained by the Italian Celiac Association. They also have really nice deserts like the tiramisu. Also gluten-free, of course! The restaurant is in the very center of Bolzano, and has really nice views of the main square. Very recommendable! IMPORTANT: keep in mind to inform the waiters about your allergies when booking and also when ordering.

Very busy bar and restaurant. Great, friendly service and fast food delivery. Everything we ordered was fantastic - from the venison ragu, lasagna and salads. While super busy, the restaurant was still cosy and inviting.

One of the best meals on this trip. Sea bass and asparagus. Reasonably priced.

We went here in june, the place was amazing, the waiters were kind and friendly, the food was really fast, we waited like 15 min for 3 pizzas. Everything was so so delicious! Bezt pizza i ever ate, best cheesecake, and best tiramisu. Prices are really good for the quality. Really pretty view. Everything was really amazing, loved it. 80€ for 3 people with 3 pizzas, 2 desserts, 3 beers (also really good) and 2 coca colas. :)

We came right at 1415, and they were able to fit us in before they had closed. Service was fast, food was good. Only downside, which you can’t fault the workers for, were the people coming in and out and not closing the door.

Yelp
We enjoyed good food, good service and a nice outdoor atmosphere. We would return when here next.

Yelp
Coffee, Spritz & service here saved the day for the restaurant and hence the three stars. It would have been two stars or less. It's a big restaurant located directly opposite the Duomo and has plenty of outdoor seating. The location is such that it gets a lot of sunshine and tourists. The menu is extensive with pasta, salads, mains and pizza. I had the gnocchi with saffron and salsicca and it was ordinary and almost without taste or flavor. I had to add lots of pepper and salt to make it edible. The salad was nice and fresh and the pizza bread we had was also plain and lacking any punch. They make a good aperolspritz beer and the coffee is good. I will come back for a drink but not for food. Service is quick and friendly and you don't need to reserve as there is plenty of seating. It's an ok place in the heart of Bolzano.

Yelp
After participating in Bolzano in Bici, we were desperate for a place to eat lunch. Fortunately, the restaurant at Walthers stays open throughout the afternoon (although the pizzeria closes 2:30 to 5 or 6). My wife had an outstanding gluten-free penne pasta dish (vegetarian), and I had a vegan Napoli pizza. We also shared a "small" mixed salad that was PLENTY. The GF penne was just as good as any "regular" pasta I have tasted. Lovely outdoor seating on the piazza, just like I'm always dreaming of. This restaurant takes "gluten-free" very seriously - they put a small "Gluten-Free" flag on all GF plates, and sternly advised my wife not to eat anything that did not have a flag on it. They also brought her a delicious GF dinner roll (sealed in a paper bag to protect it from contamination, but freshly made) that was the best GF bread we have seen on this trip.

Yelp
No question, the location at the Walther square is scenic. In my eyes a typical South Tyrolian, German/Austrian/Italian fusion kitchen. Be careful this place is pricy, but the food is excellent. We have been here many times since many years
