Wanaka Alpine Lodge

This luxury Lodge is one of the best accommodations. Nice decorations and furnished, clean and tidy, warm and friendly. It has got everything you need for relaxation and a nice holiday. The hostess showcases her talent in cooking and baking skills. The welcome snakes in the room, the deluxe breakfast and the pantry staff for afternoon tea was superb. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend!

Oh what a beautiful place, with beautiful people and beautiful food (!), we absolutely loved our stay. Sarah & Ged were so accommodating - I'm not sure if it's the norm, as we were celebrating, but Sarah had baked us a cake! It was delicious and such a lovely gesture (thank you!). The lodge is spacious and so well equipped with a hot tub and one of the best cooked breakfasts we've had. Highly recommended (and ideal for multiple friends in multiple rooms for a ski trip/weddings etc.)

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! Great location so close to everything you could need. Clean and spacious rooms. Very quiet! The amazing breakfasts prepared for us every morning as well as the baked treats in the afternoons were great. We would definitely recommend a stay here and plan to come back ourselves!!

Just the perfect place. B&B can't be done better. Ideal location just 5 minutes drive outside Wanaka in a very nice setting. Extremely helpful host which is very well connected in the local community and can thus provide great suggestions for activities and even assist in booking. Saved our holiday by pointing out what can happen to traffic conditions during heavy rain. Great room & nice lounge. And: she can cook some breakfast...different hot specialty every day, freshly baked pastries and/or cakes. No better place.

Lovely large rooms just a 5 min drive from Wanaka town centre. Breakfast was always delicious, and with real coffee! Daily baking (cakes, cookies) was an unexpected surprise. The bike ride into town suggested by Sarah was a highlight of the stay. Thanks to our lovely hosts.

I am not really a B&B person but thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The standard of the room and the common area was absolutly top class and you wouldn't find better anywhere. The room was quiet, the bed comfortable with good pillows. Breakfast was fantastic with a different choice each morning. The hosts were accommodating but left us to do our things.

Nice place hosted by nice people. Room was very spacious and nice, only to bad there wasn't a fridge in the room. There is cake available all day, which is freshly baked. The location is nice to go for a hike on Mt iron but to go to town it's best to take the car. All in all we had a lovely stay

This was one of the best stays ever in New Zealand. Quite place in immaculate condition inside and outside. Amaaazing bed. Wonderful lounge with plenty of space to relax, large screen tv with Netflix, freshly baked treats every day. Stunning fireplace, cozy blankets in the lounge. Tea and coffee in the room and in the lounge. Breakfast was absolutely superb, check out my photos. The whole stay was really up and above all our expectations and would definitely go back there again.
