Wandarrah Lodge

Had an awesome stay at Wandarrah Lodge! Our room was well presented, clean and had a very comfortable bed. There is great communal areas, plenty of cooking facilities all very clean and well maintained. I presume we spoke to the Owner on arrival, very friendly, great customer service! Locked ourselves out of our room at an oddly hour yet he still managed to smile after being woken. Thanks for a great stay we will be back if we are in Merimbula! Lovely Place!!

Wonderful place! I used to stay at hotel. As my husband insist ethnic food, I need to cook for him. Wandarrah Lodge has a large spacious kitchen. It is also equipped with all kinds of cookwares and utensils. I recommend this hostel for stay and play golf, for many golf course near-by.

Amazing! My partner & I stayed here for 5 nights and we could not fault it. The place was extremely clean, the owners were both very friendly and accommodating and the location was fabulous. Walking distance to the beach, lake, shops and the main street. There were alot of families as well as backpackers so very accommodating to all types. We will definitely be returning to Wandarrah Lodge in the near future and have recommended to our friends & family!

Absolutely loved our stay at Wandarrah Lodge - The location was perfect, only a short walk into town to shops and cafes plus also super close to the beach. The room was everything we expected plus more, clean, comfortable and spacious. Wayne & Betty were also very helpful in providing tips and recommendations for things to do on our holiday - overall we highly recommend Wandarrah lodge and will definitely be starting here again when we come back to Merimbula, great value for money!

Comfy place, downstairs eating area is reasonably sized with good room to a talk and play pool. Rooms are proportionally sized for both 4 and 6 beds, and the lounge area is comfortable and fun with the ping pong table. Owner is very reasonable and offers good accommodation.

I loved my stay! Friendly, very clean family run hostel! Betty is an absolute gem and you can tell that her and her husband take great pride in their place. Great hostel, with a very welcoming, positive vibe. I’ll be back again for sure! Thank you :)

Great facilities, clean rooms, good kitchen. Were extremely helpful and friendly most of the time. Only downside was that it's probably one of the more particular hostels i've been to. You have to pay a dollar here for this, a dollar for that. While it doesn't amount to much it's just alittle inconvenient. I think the dryer takes only $3.80. Small issues and I believe that its probably why the place is reasonably well kept. Overall happy.

BEWARE THIS IS A BACK PACKERS HOSTEL AND ADVERTISED ON GOOGLE AS A HOTEL I had a bad experience with the warradah lodge which was advertised on the internet as a "Hotel" and not a "Hostel" I found the link for the "Hotel" on google, and i called the number provided and spoke to owner Wayne and requested a room for 2 Guests. And informed him i needed to park a small boat and trailer on the property which i was informed was fine. On friday the 30/3/2018 i arrived at the hotel and was given a key to my room, there was 2 bunk beds which was fine with me. And when i asked where the toilet and bathroom/shower was i was told there was shared facilites. Which was fine with me. I then had a shower after a long days fishing in a bathroom that was quite dirty, and smelly. They even told us we have to put our own bed linen and towells in the washing facilities ourselves! If you pay for a service you expect a little more than that. I then walked back into my room with my friend after a shower to find 2 Tourists lying on our beds and had moved our bags and clothes onto the floor etc. Not once was i informed by the owners when we spoke on the phone a couple times that it was going to be a shared bedroom. I asked for a room for 2 only guests, I was completely shocked and i did not like the attitude of the other guests and felt unsafe so we decided to leave as we had been mislead by the owners and not informed about any of this. I kindly requested for a refund but i was rejected with no sympathy, so a loss of 3 nights accomodation and money on a Long weekend is quite dissapointing. I am very dissapointed as i had to sleep in my car with my friend for a further 3 nights because i was mislead by the owners. I hope no one else experiences anything like this, being mislead is very un professional in any circumstance.
