Positives: the trees and grounds are quite nice, there is hot water in the shower, WiFi works most of the time although it can be nailbitingly slow, there is a buddha statue in the garden, lamps on wall are the nicest thing about the garden tent rooms.
Negatives: Generally unorganised - mouldy pillows of which they have no clean ones when we asked for them to change, no bucket in bathroom, no towels or toilet paper in room on arrival, outside tent rooms unbearable for private sleep after 8am because it’s so hot, unclean swimming pool is underfilled and not unusable, pool table often in use by family members - there are three cues of which two do not have tips and are therefore unplayable and the other is severely warped, there is a strange vibe about the place like you’re not really welcome, 5 minutes to the beach is a complete lie it is easily 15 minutes which is far in 37 degrees heat, feels nothing like a hostel as there is no social aspect to the place, no outside food or drink allowed on the property which is ridiculous - people staying are not school children, no kitchen facilities, air con unit next to some garden accommodation extremely noisy, staff walk into room without asking and then start moving furniture in despite us prompting them not to, large dog tied up most of the time in the garden intermittently barking spoils the tranquility of the pleasant garden, the second night the owners dog barked all night long making sleep impossible, incorrect sheets on the bed as they slide off with movement every night and are not real fitted sheets, double beds are just two singles pushed together so gap opens in the middle throughout the night.
