A very nice market. Many locals with a few tourists visible. Been here twice ie at 9am on Saturday and again, at 1pm on Monday. Can't seem to get enough of wandering around the alleys.
Items sold here are normal vegetables, fruits, snack, clothings, bedsheets, toys, shoes, shirts, handbags etc. There are many shops selling noodles and economy rice. Vendors here speak mainly Thai. Be prepared to use translation.
It is almost similar to Chatuchak but a smaller scale ie 10% the size. Souvenirs? Hardly find any as it is mainly for the locals. Best part, one will not get lost here.
Accessibility? Better use taxi, grab ride as there is no BTS or MRT. If alone, can try out motorcycle taxi or Grab motorcycle.
If one is fortunate, and able to get assistance from a local market goer who speaks English or whatever second language, then it is easier.
