Great ice cream and waffle joint. Good hot dogs, too. If you're not super hungry or don't eat much, get a small ice and cream and waffle, otherwise get the bigger size and chow down or share if you can. They have some outdoor seating to enjoy the treats. Make sure you pay attention at the pickup window - they don't call out names, just food.

The ice cream is a 5 star and so are the waffles! However, year after year as a small business owner myself I wonder why they don't hire more staff. They have so much business that walks away when they see the line. Or how about 4th of July, why not stay open till 10 or even 11 and sell another 100 cones! The ice cream is delicious. Just need more people serving it !

Great ice cream, waffles and speciality hot dogs! Never disappointed. Head towards the foot bridge and you can't miss it.

The portions are huge for their waffles! I had the classic with the strawberries and it was good. However, it was a little dry and ice cream was super hard so it made it impossible to scoop it for a bite. My husband had the apple pie waffle and his was really good. Which is saying something because I normally don’t like things like that. If I were to go back, I would probably order something different.

went to boothbay harbor on august 3 during our maine vacation. wanted ice cream so we went to one place but was crazy busy and didnt have flavors my son liked. he remembered a sign for one place down near the footbridge sign. we went there and oh my word, we found THE place. it is a hole in the wall but those places are usually the best. there were only two young girls working at the time we went. one kept apologizing but really didnt need to as they were working like dogs to service customers as fast as two could. despite being overworked in a hot place, they were both cheery, friendly in greeting and handling our order. one was not to proud or upset to ask my son to open a jar for her. all marks of a good customer service people. oh yeah all our ice cream was fantastic - best coconut flavor i have ever had. if i ever return to boothbay harbor, i know where to go for ice cream

Had the "Classic" (ice cream, fresh strawberries, powdered sugar on a hot fresh waffle).... pretty much the best thing I've ever eaten. After the one bite my wife stole she made a face I've never seen her make from food before. Some sort of confused elation of how this thing can be so frickin' good. Add to that a nice view, chill vibes, and being open till 11 every night, I say good show. Good. Show. Will be back soon to check out the killer dog menu and move on to Waf #2.

Absolutely loved this place. When you go be sure to get a fresh waffle with your ice cream. There are lots of signature options with toppings to go with the waffle and ice cream. Try one, you won't be disappointed.
