Phenomenal food and ambiance. So glad the new owners turned it into an Italian restaurant. The only issue is that they often only take cash, since they say their internet signal to allow credit cards doesn't always work.

Had high expectations when I had lunch on a public holiday. The area is amazing. Beautiful setting and awesome view on the lake. Since they were short on staff I’ll excuse them for bringing our food 40 minutes after ordering. What I can’t excuse is the quality vs price. I ordered the pork schnitzel for around 33 euros. The portion was tiny. And tasted only average. When you offer prices like that you’d expect the sauce hollandaise to be homemade. Sadly, not. Funny also that they don’t show the prices on their online menu. Wonder why…. A friend ordered pasta which arrived cold. Not loop warm. But cold. Edit: don’t excuse them anymore for bringing our food 40 minutes after ordering after ordering. The other comments just proved my point. For over a year they are understaffed.

Food is quite good. We had Pfifferling soup and beef carpaccio, fired calamari and schnitzel. Soup, calamari and snitzel were very delicious, carpaccio was so so, bad quality of meat. Service was soooi slow. There were only 2 waiters for the whole terrace.

Pretty good food, nice atmosphere, great view. We had some local specialties and wine. Very good. Portions were not small. The terrace is beautiful. Great views. A wonderful place to spend time. Primarily old, quiet people, the customers. Staff is somewhat clumsy, and not so fast. Friendly though. But there were at least 50 places empty which they would not make available (?), nor were they able to create shade (many parasols were ready to be employed). Strangely unpragmatic, a bit rigid. It was very nice. Would like to come again.

Great atmosphere! Classy place and great way to end a summer season! Till next year Berlin! Truffle pasta, chicken salad and burger were all tasty. Very attentive service and the waiters were available at all times and roaming around our table! The only issue with this location is finding a decent place to park and there is only a one way round so you have to coordinate the traffic with other drivers.

The view is the most striking feature at this place. Combined with good food and friendly service its definitely somthing to consider.

The view is lovely but it seems they are understaffed. Very slow, food is average for the price. I would advise to always book in advance. The parking is limited, there are more places further down the road.

Great location, excellent service and quality of food We went to Wannseeterrassen for our annual shareholders. We always aim to find a place that offers peacefulness (so, one person can speak), coziness and a flexible and quiet service. Considering the time of year, we chose the traditional German excavation and were not disappointed. The food was excellent (I loved the chestnuts that came as a side), the service was very intrusive (without being intrusive) and the location is a gem - even in the cold season .. I can only imagine how it should be in the summer when you go out on the lovely terrace outside ... Must do for sunsets. So, if you're looking for something special, it's not very busy (in winter) and it takes you away from all this - this is the place to go. Remember, it's a bit far away from the torn track - but not far away (about 5 minutes by car from the "Bahnhof Wannsee") and you're rewarded with a special and peaceful environment that will be lost to a different world. ...
