Had a great time in there, ended up ordering two burgers. Great sandwiches and great service! Felt welcome! I had my A5 steak elsewhere, but the burgers are something else, worth a try! Especially if you had just arrived to the city and don’t want to get in line or make a reservation to teppanyaki places.

Heard about their Wagyu burgers being really tasty, figured I’d give it a try… and they didn’t disappoint. Since the chef’s using Wagyu beef instead of the typical beef patty, the meat’s texture is very different. It’s really tender too; get ready for some juices to squirt around once you start biting into it. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to try out the A5 Kobe Wagyu burger since they were out of stock, so I settled for the cheaper egg and bacon Wagyu burger instead. Do keep in mind it’s a very small “hole in the wall” sort of restaurant though: at best they could probably take around 10-12 customers at a time. So if it’s crowded or with a big group, you might have to consider different options. Oh, and staff I was talking to at the time was surprisingly fluent in English so that’s another plus.

These guys know burgers. If you want a Kobe Wagyu Beef burger, I can’t imagine it’s possible to find a better spot to do so. They were even super accommodating of some special requests I made, and the result was a burger so good that it’s easily equal with the elite burger chefs in the US.

Delicious! A Kobe beef burger while in Kobe has to be done. Cooked to medium perfection. Perfect size, very juicy. I would 100% go back.

Google
Good burgers for a fair price. Each burger has 2 options, a wagyu option and a more expensive kobe beef version. Ordered the Wanto burger medium rare which was overflowing with meat. You have the option of choosing either fries or salad but i ordered fries. The fries were more like wedges which i preferred which was nice. Definitely recommend coming here for a unique kobe beef experience.

Really yummy Kobe beef burger and fries. I got the blue cheese with mushrooms and it was soo yum. The blue cheese is really sharp and complemented the burger really well. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

I've been to this place two times already, and both times I've been very satisfied! They have phenomenal burgers that have the option of being served with either Kobe Beef or Wagyu Beef. I've tried both options, and they are tasty with the Kobe Beef winning me over. The buns are made in-store and are fresh and delicious with the bottom bun toasted underneath as well to add in a bit of textural contrast. The decor and design of the store is reminiscent of an American diner, offering a vibe that's quite hard to find in Kobe (the washroom itself as a work of art!) My only gripe would be that the burgers are quite small for the price, and even though fries are served as a side, I was left feeling like I was still hungry, and the people I came with also felt the same. Overall a pretty good place to experience a nice burger in a cozy and familiar atmosphere, highly recommended albeit you should mind that the prices are on the expensive side and that the burgers are small.

Google
Following some reviews on the internet, i decided to stop by for lunch at this place, and the burger was tasty. I did choose the single cheese burger of wagyu beef, and it was very nice. It was served with french fries, but you can also choose a salad. The patty was prepared "a la minute," and the friendly chef suggested medium, he was right. If you are very hungry, i will recommend a double patty

Yelp
THEY HAVE ENGLISH MENU HERE! D and I decided to try some Kobe beef when we were in Kobe during our Japan vacation but we didn't want to have to pay an arm and a leg.. or more.. in order to try some Kobe beef. So D found this place while we were on the JR Rail heading towards Kobe after our visit in Himeji. This place is walk-able from the JR Rail Station (unfortunately as I was not the navigator on our trip, I do not remember the station name, with I tell you it is not the Kobe station, but it is in Kobe ....lol). It is a small little dinner, and at max I think they can accommodate a party of max four people at a table. D ordered the Wanto Burger - it has a Kobe beef patty, roasted Wagyu beef slices, bacon garlic egg, garlic chips and steak sauce with mustard. I ordered their award winning burger (as they advertise on their menu) - the Avocado Burger with Kobe patty. For all their burgers you can choose between Wagyu beef or Kobe beef - well that is if you didn't order the Wanto Burger. Kobe beef patty for your burgers are more expensive then Wagyu burger. Since I was in Kobe, I decided to get the Kobe beef patty for my Avocado Burger. It came with bacon, avocado, tomato, lettuce with cumin, teriyaki sauce and mustard. They give you half of a avocado in your burger! This was DELICIOUS!!! If I had room for second burger, I would have ordered another burger too. I tried a slice of the roasted Wagyu beef from D's burger and I have to say it was DELICIOUS too. Maybe it is me, I can only taste deliciousness for both types of beef, but I can't distinguish between the difference between the two. BUT IT WAS A VERY, VERY YUMMY, YUMMY BURGER!!! My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Yelp
I figured a trip to Kobe wouldn't be complete without trying some Kobe beef. However, the expensive price tag and time consumption that goes with a steakhouse didn't really fit my schedule or budget..and Wanto seemed like the perfect compromise. I went all-out and got the specialty Wanto Burger(...a 100% Kobe beef patty topped with slivers of Wagyu steak, an egg and crunchy garlic chips to garnish. It comes with about 6 little potato cubes, which to be fair, was more than enough(they were good, but I was stuffed after the burger). There are cheaper options if you don't want to pay ¥2270 for a burger, but as long as you are there...you might as well go for it. The burger was tasty....although I generally like mine Medium Well, I went with the Medium Rare I was served. To be perfectly honest, I didn't really notice a difference between Kobe beef and normal beef...but the overall flavour was good. On top of that, the staff were friendly and the decor of the diner is fun. I'd recommend it for a cheaper Kobe beef option.

Yelp
The place was clean and easy to find. The vibe was chill- Willie Nelson playing. The selection was good. The burger was good/ not ah-maxing. The price was tough for a burger and beer. I'd go again if I was craving a good burger and I was traveling.

Yelp
This is an awesome place, great Kobe beef, real authentic American atmosphere, if Americans wana change of pace or if Japanese people want to experience an NYC atmosphere you should come here. That Kobe beef too, damn.

Yelp
Small portions, not tasty and and very expensive. Basic cheapest cheese burger was $20. Fries were a joke. Not going back.

Yelp
If you want a tasty burger, come here. If you want a Kobe beef experience, go elsewhere. I've only tasted the Kobe Beef Cheeseburger. I can't comment on the steak sandwich. Overall, it wasn't bad. The staff isn't exactly friendly. No beer on tap. They serve Heartland. Good. Ambience is not bad. Kinda American looking. We had to ask them to turn down the music. You might try this place. I'll go back to try a few more burgers. This review may be edited later.

Yelp
This place is a super cool diner experience with 70's music playing in the background. The burgers and steak were awesome. The famous Wanto Burger can be ordered as a double or triple. It was a clean and comfortable place. The service was excellent. Will visit again!

Yelp
Pretentious. Burger came with about 6/7 tiny cube chips that probably costed pennies to make . There was no welcome or acknowledgment from the staff either, weird. Was really looking forward to this place but 3000yen for a burger and a beer? Nah, wouldn't recommend
