Canada’s Most Charming Hotels for Winter Stays - AFAR

"A restaurant located within a national park dedicated to Indigenous heritage, serving traditional Indigenous cuisine with modern touches; menu highlights include a hearty elk patty served on bannock, and the park’s programming and name emphasize cultural reflection and connection to land." - Michael Kaminer

The burger is burnt, and the stew is too salty. After your reply, I sent you an email. But nothing happened. Maybe you only want to show you care about customers' experience. So your apologies only stay in words.

A great place to visit and learn the history of the local indigenous community. Either inside or outside, it was well maintained. Staffs were friendly. There are several trails that you can easily spend a few hours. Kid-friendly too.

The restaurant has gone downhill. It used to have real plates, cups and cutlery. Now it’s tiny paper plates and paper cups and plastic cutlery. We had a bison burger for the price of 24$ and it looked like a 1/4 pound and it was burnt. The fries were very salty. On the plus side they had it ready in 60 seconds. The patio had 6 inch tall weeds coming out between the paving stones. There was no shade on the patio. This was like McDonald’s with over priced bison.

Very educational with something for all ages. It was a hot summer day so we didn't spend too much time on the trails. What we walked provided lovely views.

Great place to get some Indigenous cuisine or a quick snack after a hike around the park. Seating area is clean and sleek. Service is friendly.

As one could expect with any museum, food can be pricy but it was not bad at all. Everyone got the Bison burger but there's also a plant-based option. The bannock "bread" is a good option together with a nice hot drink after you've been out hiking in the winter.

This is a magical place for learning and connecting with the First Nations's roots. They also have a nice restaurant (even though we went a little late and the kitchen was closed). I really would like to participate in an activity they have "Tipy sleepover" but the fee is for larger groups, not just one family.

Yelp
Nice clean restaurant with offerings you won't find in most places. They're located within the heritage center but you don't have to pay admission to get in. Lots of parking and you may have to pay extra for that, which seems kind of a cheesy tactic, but we were exempt. The food was great though and we tried the bison burger with fries, and a wild rice berry salad, followed up with a scoop of ice cream with Saskatoon berry sauce. No complaints about the food and service. There's a view of the outdoor patio and the parking lot. Four stars because they close so early, and the questionable parking fee. If I lived here I'd go back to eat if there was no parking fee.
